November 18, 2023,

Does being around so many young people help you to feel young?

Hopefully.

When in the Czech Republic, you should visit Brno, which is flush with love and plenty of college students.

There are many reasons to visit the Czech Republic if you love Sessions and often the city of destination is Prague. Understandably so.

Having said that, if you’ve made it to the Czech Republic, a country of DWW lore (the beautiful blonde Luzia comes to mind), then you would be cheating yourself if you didn’t spend some time in Brno.

Time for a walk down DWW memory lane.

Here was a snippet of a review.

“Luzia is a real female athlete and of course she already had a long history of being one of the best and strongest wrestlers of her time. At this time Renata B. was nearly a beginner and although she was pretty inexperienced in this match, one could easily see that she was a powerful lady and that she had some potential as a fighting girl.”

Though both gorgeous blondes are long retired, when you visit any region of the Czech Republic, think about the spirit and life these two legends brought to the female submission wrestling industry and we are certain it will make you feel your time in the Brno region to be more spiritual.

First some basics.

Brno is a city in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

Located at the confluence of the Svitava and Svratka rivers, Brno has about 380,000 inhabitants, making it the second-largest city in the Czech Republic after the capital, Prague, and one of the 100 largest cities of the EU.

The Brno metropolitan area and suburbs has almost 700,000 inhabitants.

The South Moravian is an administrative unit of the Czech Republic, located in the south-western part of its historical region of Moravia.

The team of world travelers at Lonely Planet exude, “Moravia’s capital city just keeps getting better and better. The thousands of university students here have always ensured a lively club and entertainment scene, but a wave of next-gen cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars in the past few years has put the city on the map and even invited positive comparisons with Prague. The churches and museums are great too.”

Fantastic.

We desire more.

Make a day of it, possibly a weekend, and visit Podyji National Park.

Podyjí National Park is a national park in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic adjacent to Austria’s Thayatal National Park on the border, together they are referred to as the Inter-National park.

It is one of the Czech Republic’s four national parks. It protects near-natural forests along the deep Dyje River valley. The well-preserved state of the biome of the park is cited as being unique in Central Europe.

Visit and you will feel like you’ve been transported to another magical realm.

Those are some basics. It has made us hungry.

Ready for breakfast?

We’re going to keep it simple.

There are many café’s and quaint coffee houses where you can get some pancakes and coffee.

That hit the spot.

Before we go to our session, time for a movie.

The Affair is a 2019 Czech drama film directed by Julius Ševčík.

It stars Hanna Alström, Karel Roden and Carice van Houten.

It is based on The Glass Room, a novel by Simon Mawer, which tells the story of a fictional house based on the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed Villa Tugendhat in Brno, Czech Republic, where the movie was filmed.

Now for the storyline.

Wealthy newlyweds Liesel and Viktor have enlisted a famous architect, Rainer von Abt to build them a new home, which becomes the talk of 1930s Czechoslovakia.

Liesel’s friend Hana is nursing seemingly unrequited romantic feelings for her pal, while Viktor is caught in the act with nanny Kata.

On the eve of Nazi invasion, Liesel and Viktor flee to neutral Switzerland with their two children. Almost immediately, Liesel misses her friend and realizes her feelings were more than platonic.

Sounds intriguing.

A very well done film that brings history to life. There is so much rich history in the Czech Republic.

Another satisfying experience.

Now, time for our session. Since we are going to wrestle (semi-competitive for us) a gorgeous Czech Maiden, we didn’t want to be too filled up. Hence the light breakfast.

We have our favorites and you can pick your favorite. We communicated with a German citizen and he really enjoyed his session with Julie Silvie. For a list of other Czech Session Stars, visit our page: https://fciwomenswrestling.com/sessions-czech-princess-perfection/

What we like about our list is that virtually all of the girls wrestle competitively and in our experience, they tend to have much higher standards than those who do not.

Ah, that was great.

Time for lunch. That session took a lot of wonderful energy and we are ready to dine.

Mushrooms are often used in Czech cuisine as different types grow in the forests. Czechs make an average of 20 visits to the forest annually, picking up to 20,000 tons of mushrooms.

Please don’t try this yourself as certain mushrooms can be very dangerous.

Having said that, picked properly, they are incredibly delicious.

The body of Czech meals typically consists of two or more courses.

The first course is traditionally soup, the second course is the main dish, and the third course can include supplementary courses, such as dessert or compote.

In the Czech cuisine, thick soups and many kinds of sauces, both based on stewed or cooked vegetables and meats, often with cream, as well as baked meats with natural sauces (gravies), are popular dishes usually accompanied with beer, especially Pilsner, that Czechs consume the most in the world.

Czech cuisine is also very strong in sweet main courses and desserts, a unique feature in European cuisines.

That was wonderful.

We are full. What a day.

We’ll transfer to our evening by concluding at the Super Panda night spot. Here is why.

Here is their enticement.

“A brand new world, where everything makes a completely different sense. Once upon a time in a faraway galaxy, on a pink planet called Matrix, there was a team of wizards, hippies and mermaids.

They decided to build a spaceship made out of spices, bitters and cognac.

On their escape from 5D space, they stopped to get some peanuts.

They played chess with Chinese master to make him clap a sound of a falling tree with his one hand and through a wormhole fell into a town, where noon is stroked by the clock at 11 am.

Open the curtain of Super Panda Circus but do not expect an ordinary menu here. We have stories. At each of the story, you will get lost in order to find what you need – whether it’s the reason for the existence of the universe or just having a drink tonight.” https://www.superpandacircus.cz/

Sounds mystical and wonderful.

What a day in Brno. A city filled with youth and excitement.

Session memory perfection.
