International Classic, Sweden’s Lina Vs DWW Legend Zsuzsa, Consistent Capture

The winners socialize together.

The winners of any industry are often mentioned in the same conversation.

When it comes to competition, they don’t always meet one another in battle.

Today we have an exception.

Hungary’s DWW legend Zsuzsa is a winner.

Most of the time.

We say that because she is willing to take on all comers including female wrestlers with a higher skill level, heavier weight and substantial winning record.

She never seems to duck a challenge. And today?

She will absolutely have a challenge.

Lina of Sweden has been wrestling for well over a decade and increasingly has become a better tactician. She will present a great challenge to Zsuzsa because of both size and skill.

Their extensive experience is about the same and, given her earlier start, Zsusza probably has more.

This should be an intriguing matchup.

Time to go ringside.

ZSUZSA VS LINA

The two gorgeous girls begin to stretch and warmup. This match should reflect their personalities, both quiet, elegant and dignified.

Intense on the mats though.

Relentless too.

Time to begin.

They circle one another with hand fighting. Lina obtains the first advantage by cupping her arms underneath Zuszsa’s shoulders and bringing the dark brunette down to the floor. They struggle for a moment but Zuszsa escapes.

In the process, the Hungarian star gives up her back and Lina takes advantage of that, capturing Zuszsa from behind and applying pressure. Zuszsa is able to stand but Lina has her right arm ensnared in an arm bar and surrounds her neck area with a Triangle Choke. Zsuzsa pulls to get away and does, but falls and gives up her back and Lina is immediately all over her. The blonde begins to ride Zsuzsa from behind but cannot extract a submission.

They stand and begin again.

The two beautiful girls circle one another with hand fighting for upper body control. Zsuzsa actually wins that engagement and captures Lina with a frontal lock but the blonde is too strong, pushes Zsuzsa backwards and recaptures the gorgeous brunette from behind.

She scissors her.

Then she latches on to Zsuzsa’s right wrist, then circles Zsuzsa’s neck with her left arm, slides the right arm up from the wrist, locks her arms together and begins to apply a fierce rear naked choke as Zsuzsa howls in anguish.

This will not last long.

The DWW legend taps out.

1-0 for Lina (4:18).

They engage from the knees.

Zsuzsa is quick to gain the top position but Lina uses her legs to push the Hungarian star off and backwards.

They begin again with upper torso struggle. In the process of engagement, Zsuzsa gives up her back.

Again.

Lina is quick to pounce on that and wraps her legs around Zsuzsa’s waist and we know what occurred the last time that happened. For good measure and a possible combination hold, Lina begins to strain Zsuzsa’s right arm for a possible arm bar.

The former DWW star is bent over in pain.

Zsuzsa struggles but forcefully pulls her arm out of the jaws of defeat.

Time to start again.

This time Zsuzsa gains the immediate advantage and traps Lina in a forward headlock, Guillotine Choke. You would think that Zsuzsa could close in on a submission but as Lina struggles, she has to let it go. Why? Because Zsuzsa, like most DWW girls, has not trained in MMA. A big weakness.

So, she voluntarily lets the hold go.

She quickly applies another hold that she knows a lot about from her DWW days. She clamps Lina down into a leg head scissor and squeezes tight. This is her wheelhouse. She grabs Lina’s right arm for good measure. The beautiful blonde struggles mightily but can’t break the hold and taps out.

1-1 Zsuzsa ties it up (7:29).

Lina takes a moment to rub and stretch her neck. That scissor hold put her out of sorts.

Once they engage, Lina pulls Zsuzsa’s arms downward and Zsuzsa gives up her back and begins to crawl away from Lina. The sexy blonde chases her, crawls up her back with Zsuzsa bent over in the turtle position. What will Lina do with this great advantage?

They struggle.

Zsuzsa breaks the hold.

Time to begin again from their knees.

As they grapple around, one thing that is progressively becoming clear is that Lina is stronger. In Zsuzsa’s case she has so much experience that she escapes her entrapments but make no mistake about, she is always on the defensive.

Here, in the elongated position, heads facing in the opposite directions, Lina grasps Zsuzsa’s right wrist and scissors her head. Zsusza in return scissors Lina’s upper torso. It is now a war of attrition. Who is going to win it? From experience, and we are really beginning to advocate this in our instructional articles for newer female grapplers, the person with two potential holds, in this case Lina, is in a better position than a person with one hold. Let’s see if that plays out.

Lina is squeezing harder than Zsusza.

Zsusza taps out.

Lina leads 2-1 (9:39).

As they re-engage, they circle one another and begin to hand fight. Once again Lina gets the best of that and captures Zsusza from behind, continuing a pattern. The beautiful blonde leg locks Zsuzsa’s right thigh and begins to control the gorgeous brunette from the top.

Lina is now in control.

She initially rolls Zsusza into a side body scissor, controlling the DWW legend’s wrists. Zsusza tries to escape but is finding it difficult to match Lina’s tenaciousness and strength. Lina has latched on to the Hungarian star’s wrists, Zsusza struggles mightily. Now Lina slides upwards and is in the smother position, slides further into the school girl pin position. Zsusza keeps using her legs to try and kick out from underneath and she escapes.

Well done.

For now.

The two beautiful maidens begin grappling on the mat floor. Zsusza uses her right arm to try and secure a hold but Lina is too strong and breaks out of it. In their process of struggle, Zsusza gives up her back. Lina is happy to take advantage of the gift. She rolls Zsusza around and maneuvers the DWW star into a cross body pin position. Zsusza is groaning and struggling underneath.

The first pin count reaches seven.

Zsusza escapes.

For now.

A determined Lina grasps her wrists, slaps it back down and tries the pin count again. For good measure, she performs a leg curl on Zsuzsa’s left leg. As we’ve said, combination holds are very formidable. With her body across Zsuzsa’s and the Hungarian legend’s left leg trapped, Lina counts her out at ten.

3-1 for the Swedish star (12:57).

They engage from their knees. This time Zsusza appears ready for everything. She gains the advantage and traps Lina in a side body scissor, one of Zsuzsa’s favorite DWW moves. Lina is in anguish. The blonde appears to be truly tapped. Lina taps out.

3-2, Lina still leads. (14:07).

Time to fight.

The game is still on the board.

Lina immediately pulls the gorgeous brunette’s head downwards and is on top of her as Zsusza is bent over in the turtle position. The blonde is now in total control as she moves Zsusza around from hold to hold. She final settles on the cross body pin hold as she captures Zsuzsa’s right arm.

A combination attack is always better.

She now begins to sit atop Zsusza, working that extended arm and joint lock until the Hungarian princess screams and taps out.

4-2 for Lina (16:25).

The two beauties take a breather.

Once the wrestling starts, they go back and forth, including using the wall as leverage and as usual, Lina, the stronger of the two, captures Zsusza from behind.

Zsusza struggles to get away.

Lina forces Zsusza into the turtle position and rides her from behind, trying to capture her in a scissor hold.

Zsusza escapes.

Temporarily.

Lina is immediately all over the DWW star and encases her in an unusual headlock choke where both girl’s bodies are elongated, feet facing the opposite direction, heads side by side with Zsusza trapped in a strong choke. In trouble, the Hungarian star taps out.

The match is over.

The beautiful Swedish blonde wrestles her way to a 5-2 victory over a legend.
