Berlin Expo Classic, Ukraine’s Olga (Siringa) Vs Germany’s Rebecca, Endurance Test

When you participate in a global event, time will remember you.

Especially among the faithful.

The 2004 Berlin Expo was one of the greatest fully competitive female submission wrestling events ever, with beautiful girls from at least two continents. Fortunately some of the matches are still on video.

This is one of them.

Ukraine’s Olga (Siringa) vs Germany’s Rebecca is now one of our industry’s classics.

We have reviewed Olga vs the gorgeous porcelain American girl Ivy in our library. It was an incredible match and the point of interest here is that Olga is a Black Sea Amazon (BSA), a group that was one of the forerunners to competitive and violent female MMA. They were some of the most elite wrestlers of their time period.

Here, Olga will face a German body builder in wonderfully tanned Rebecca, who we don’t know much about except she really had her hands full with the Fighting Style Girls. Stated another way, she is not a complete rookie.

This should be interesting.

OLGA VS REBECCA

The referee stands in between and introduces the two girls, who then shake hands.

One thing for certain, with the dark expansive interior, the facility has a very unique look for a wrestling venue, like it could also pass for a night club. Whatever the case, it is one of the characters and personalities in the Berlin Expo because we’ve seen no other event venue look quite like this.

They engage up top and Olga uses her left arm to temporarily capture a headlock and take Rebecca down to the mats. As she rides the bent over German girl from above, the referee has to warn Olga at least three times not to choke. We sense what Olga is trying to do is apply a chin lock, but her instincts keeps moving towards the choke.

Olga keeps the headlock, avoids the choke (though it is close to one), applies a scissor and with the two hold application, forces Rebecca to tap out.

1-0 for Olga (2:23).

Time to begin.

We can’t help but notice how shapely Olga looks so wonderful in her one piece bathing suit. There is something about curvy feminine women that enhance virtually everything they wear.

The two begin fighting from the standing position. They both head hunt and engage in upper struggle. Rebecca wraps her left arm around Olga’s neck while the Ukrainian princess captures the upper torso headlock and they circle around, with Olga in control. The referee comes over and watches closely to make sure that side headlock doesn’t turn into a choke.

Olga takes the German beauty down to the mats.

The shapely athlete initially slides forward to smother Rebecca out. The German star fights her off and turns on her stomach, which means she has completely given up her back. Olga is now sitting on top of an elongated Rebecca.

From there, the rest is easy for the experienced BSA fighter who grabs Rebecca underneath in a chin lock, pulls backwards and Rebecca quickly taps out.

2-0 for Olga (4:30).

Time to start. Can Olga keep her intensity or will she let Rebecca back in?

They engage standing up. Olga wraps her left arm around Rebecca’s neck who is very defiant in not going down. The war of attrition begins as they circle.

Finally Olga takes the German star down.

She rides the Germanic brunette for some time and then rolls over and tries to capture her in a floor to sitting body scissor. A mediocre move. Rebecca breaks that hold, is on top and now begins to take control herself. She flattens out the Ukrainian beauty and begins to ride her back, and if turnabout is fair play, she goes for a chin lock. Olga is groaning in pain as Rebecca continues to work the head and neck area, zeroing in on that chin lock again. The German muscle girl rolls Olga on her side, applies a scissor and attacks the chin lock again.

Olga is in trouble.

Rebecca continues to apply the pressure. Olga will not budge. She fights with all of her might not to be submitted but Rebecca is fighting equally as hard but, as a muscle girl, appears to be stronger, gains the top position and places her right knee on Olga’s chest as she controls Olga’s wrists. Olga screams in extreme pain and curiously, Rebecca lifts her knee away. She now tries to pin Olga’s shoulders down with her knees for a pin count.

Rebecca loses the pin count hold put uses her left hand to keep Olga’s face mashed down on the mats.

The German muscle girl keeps losing holds but as long she remains on top, continues to apply new ones. She has Olga in anguish as the blonde is flat on her stomach while Rebecca sits on her in almost back breaker fashion, hands clasped underneath Olga’s chin and pulling backwards for another forceful chin lock.

Amazing. Rebecca is relentless.

The German star continues to apply the pressure, brutally mounting Olga from behind and continually pulling her face back for that chin lock. She then slides Olga on her side into a form of a scissor. She literally, in various forms, keeps Olga’s face smashed against the mats.

Olga’s dilemma is that she just can’t get off of that floor. She has given up her back and Rebecca continues to apply the pressure and won’t let her up. Now she is mashing Olga down with her right leg. The fact that they cannot use chokes is what is making this segment even more excruciating. If Rebecca could have applied a choke, Olga would have been submitted some time ago.

Rebecca changes strategy.

The German princess is still in control, has Olga captured from behind, applies a behind the back body scissor and, with both hands, pulls on the chin lock again. She keeps slowly rolling Olga around and continues to apply pressure as the BSA star just can’t seem to escape. She clearly is tiring and in massive discomfort but she won’t tap out. She gets to her knees as Rebecca continues to forcefully ride her. Having said all of that Rebecca has made one major mistake.

She needs to close the deal.

This is not point or style based. You need to achieve a submission and the longer she allows Olga to hang around, the greater the chance Olga is going to break free.

Like now.

Once Olga is free, she quickly wastes no time in capturing Rebecca from behind and applies a scissor as both girls are sitting. Olga appears to be out of gas as she too cannot seal the deal. She is doing all of the right things but just can’t apply enough pressure. As Olga has Rebecca, bent over, in a floor to standing body scissor, the German muscle girl uses her right foot and hands to mash Olga’s body to the floor.

Rebecca breaks the hold.

She is back on top of Olga but apparently she just doesn’t know how to apply a forceful submission hold. In the fitness war of attrition, she is clearly winning. Olga is spent. But, pressure will only go so far.

Olga is now back in control. Kind of. The blonde beauty tries for a cross body pin but Rebecca is too strong and pushes her off.

She leaps back on top of Olga.

Rebecca, sitting on Olga’s back, begins to mash her face into the mats. Next comes the right leg down on Olga’s right arm. The clock is ticking.

Time runs out.

Olga can barely stand but manages to. Rebecca is fresh as a daisy but, up to this point, just doesn’t having the closing skills. This was easily her match to win and yet she lost 0-2. We heard of her before and that she did not have much success against the Fighting Style girls. Now we can understand why. Give her and “A” for effort but, all said and done, you have to submit your opponent.
