Hungary’s DWW Legend Orsi B. Vs Germany’s Sensation Curie, Surprise, Surprise

If you base your analysis and predictions upon matches wrestled and experience, comparatively speaking, she is expected to win.
Handily.
If you base the above on strength of schedule, being a former DWW Alum and a continual member of Antscha’s Hungarian wrestling group, arguably some of the best wrestlers in the world, she checks the boxes there as well.
Yet, with Orsi B, things are not quite that simple.
Not consistently anyway.
For every match Orsi wrestles with passion, she will throw in another where she giggles like a school girl.
Like at the great Femwrestle event when she met Jade of England and the two couldn’t stop giggling and chattering during the whole match.
Impossible to review.
Then she will turn around, wrestle with conviction, like she is trying to make a statement and completely dominate and embarrass a rock solid wrestler like Hungary’s Dolly.
Simply stated, when Orsi is truly ready to wrestle, she is one of the best.
Orsi’s wrestling career tends to be that way.
We say all of this because she is about to wrestle Germany’s Curie, who, from our reviewing experience, takes all of her matches seriously. She never throws in a giggler or a clunker.
That is impressive.
Having said that, she doesn’t remotely have Orsi’s experience and extensive resume. Too, she is not ranked as an elite wrestler, completely dominated by England’s Sativa and Czech Republic’s Julie Silvie, the German star is still very good.
So, we will grudgingly give the nod to Orsi to win in a close one but we are super glad we are not betting any money on it. Especially since we still have to buy dinner for the evening.
Time to see what happens.
ORSI B. VS CURIE
The lovely and personable Aisa will serve as referee. The two beauties stand beside her and after introductions begin the match on their knees.
They begin with upper body control by using their arms and Orsi immediately falls to a floor to sitting body scissor position for control. Some view this as a potential submission hold, and it is, against a weaker wrestler, but Curie is not a weaker wrestler.
She soon breaks away from Orsi’s control and, from her knees, is fighting from the top position.
They struggle for some time with Curie mostly now in control as the Hungarian star fights from her back.
Orsi eventually breaks free and the two begin again on their knees.
Time for more upper body and hand struggle. Orsi goes back down to the mats for the floor to sitting body scissor and converts it into a leg Triangle Choke. Curie is trapped. Temporarily.
She soon breaks the hold.
They struggle more and Curie rolls Orsi in a side body scissor, which can be lethal, but rarely with a veteran like Orsi.
The DWW alum breaks the hold.
Undaunted, Curie quickly latches on to a headlock with her left arm and takes Orsi down. The beautiful statuesque brunette struggles to escape. Orsi makes the decision to try and pull Curie’s head backwards with her long smooth legs. She tries continually, until she has success, but Curie quickly bounces back and still has the headlock secured.
They grapple around more.
As they hit the mats, Orsi finally breaks the headlock, mounts Curie, and begins to ride her from behind.
Orsi slides Curie into a side body scissor and then applies a rear naked choke. Nice combination move. Are we ready to see our first submission?
Curie breaks out of the choke.
Orsi still has her trapped in a scissor, riding her from behind.
The DWW star slides Curie back into another side body scissor and captures a rear naked choke. This time better than the last. Curie finally appears to be in trouble as Orsi applies the double hold.
Curie finally breaks out.
The audience applauds.
Twice now Orsi has captured Curie in strong submitting positions and twice she has let her go. Does Curie have enough offense to take advantage of Orsi’s failed submission attempts? If this keeps up, Orsi will eventually make good on those combination holds.
Orsi continues to control the action, from the ground, with a mild floor to sitting body scissors but Curie is no longer in trouble.
She finally breaks away and the two start again from their knees.
They begin to struggle for the upper body advantage, wrestling with one another’s arms. Curie pushes Orsi backwards into the corner and the tall brunette captures the German princess in another floor to sitting body scissor.
Nothing for Curie to really worry about.
They struggle more and mutually break the holds.
Time to start again on their knees.
Though tied 0-0, thus far this is a victory for Curie. Can it continue to trend that way without the Germanic beauty mounting any real offense? You can’t score, always being on defense?
Curie pushes Orsi backwards and, once again, Orsi scissors Curie with her legs and maneuvers it into a Triangle Choke hold. Curie is not fazed and continues to try and escape. Orsi goes for an arm bar but fighting from the floor says it all. You can attempt all the submissions you want, and Orsi is aggressively trying that, but the person on top simply has more leverage. At this point, Curie is still content to play defense and fight the more experienced Orsi off.
Orsi continues to be the aggressor.
She continues to trap Curie in a floor to sitting scissor, Triangle Hold, headlock and loses the holds.
Out of the holds, this time Curie is on top and captures Orsi in a headlock. Finally some offense but it doesn’t last long because Orsi is clearly stronger and she breaks out of the hold. Orsi gains the position of strength again as Curie gives up her back, again, and the Hungarian princess begins to ride her.
Orsi continues to woman handle Curie, moving her around to various positions and grasping her arms, but again, she is doing it from the bottom position. Curie appears to be riding it out, waiting for an opening.
Which may never come.
Both are employing strategies that are questionable at best but still, the match is very exciting.
Finally, Orsi gives up her back.
What will Curie do with this advantage?
She has Orsi trapped in a scissor but the legend is determined not to be submitted. Still, it is Curie who is now in control. Orsi is genuinely howling and trying to escape and Curie keeps adjusting with her. She scissors the Hungarian star from the bottom position and Orsi wisely manages to keep an arm between Curie’s legs to lessen the cranking power.
They struggle.
Struggle some more. And just like that?
The match is over.
0-0 tie.
We don’t believe in moral victories. You either won or you didn’t.
We do believe in upsets and this match qualifies for that description.
Orsi is stronger, more experienced and possibly more skilled than Curie, yet she could never seal the deal.
Curie had her chances and couldn’t gain a submission either.
Having said that, this was an enjoyable match to watch.
Both girls are curvy and very sexy so it was great from that standpoint. It was also a mystery right down to the end, so it scored points on that as well.
Yes, Orsi was the favorite and she did indeed appear to take this match seriously. She has thoroughly defeated wrestlers, who defeated Curie, yet she could not herself.
This is why you play the games.
Women’s fully competitive wrestling, like other experiences in life, are full of surprises.
