Int’l Match, Czech Republic Silvie Vs Hungary’s Zsuzsa, Methodical Domination

When a legend meets an up and coming wrestler learning her craft, the match has a way of telling where both of them are at this intersection in time.

Zsuzsa needs no introduction.

She has been wrestling for close to 20 years, is a former DWW legend and has worked with Antscha’s team and competed at the great Femwrestle Events in Troisdorf.

Silvie is still learning and very effectively earning her stripes.

She has an extensive resume and can defeat both the new girls and many of the intermediate level Fem Competitors as well. Her decimation of Kim at Antscha’s legendary studio was somewhat of a surprise and very impressive. She also handled a solid wrestler in Germany’s Curie pretty easily as well. But just when you think Silvie is making her move, she gets demolished by Kimbra.

Go figure.

Today we feel Silvie has a chance of winning, mostly because of the size difference. She is quite a bit larger than Zsuzsa. On the other hand, Zsuzsa has vast experience and can be very resourceful.

We expect this to be close.

Let’s get started.

SILVIE VS ZSUZSA

The match takes place in a private setting doing battle in a wrestling ring at Female Wrestling Zone.

The girls cautiously move towards one another and begin with hand fighting. This lasts for a minute as Zsuzsa clasps Silvie and captures a headlock but is having difficulty taking her down to the mats. She finally does and even lands on top of her but Silvie does not appear to feel threatened.

She patiently maneuvers Zsuzsa out of the hold and transfers her into a triangle choke while she grasps at her arm. For the moment, Zsuzsa is trapped. Silvie locks it in and Zsuzsa taps out.

1-0 for Silvie (1:20).

That was too easy.

Re-engage.

The two girls move slowly towards one another and engage in upper hand and neck control.

Zsuzsa springs a mild surprise by leaping onto Silvie’s waist, trapping her in a floor to sitting body scissors as she bends the statuesque redhead’s neck downward.

Squeeze.

Can Silvie escape?

She does.

Silvie soon forces Zsuzsa into the turtle position as she mounts her from behind, grabbing at her hands and wrists to maneuver the veteran into a submitting posture.

This dynamic struggle, with Silvie on top, goes on for some time. Silvie is relentless and that top position provides her with great leverage. Zsuzsa is starting to crumble. Silvia now forces the issue and chokes the DWW Alum out.

2-0 for Silvie (3:22).

In reviewing Zsuzsa’s recent matches, while her skill level is steady, Zsuzsa’s smaller body frame seems to be a weakness in competing in today’s competitive female submission wrestling industry where going to the gym, working out profusely and learning MMA, is a bare minimum requirement.

Zsuzsa appears to be fighting uphill as she is here with Silvie.

They begin again with slow upper hand fighting with a view to capturing the neck in a headlock. Zsuzsa appears to have beat Silvie to the punch but cannot sustain it.

Silvie gains control.

Again.

They struggle.

Zsuzsa has given up her back and Silvie is slowly riding her down to the mats. She flattens Zsuzsa out in a semi-cross body pin as Zsuzsa tries to prevent a full frontal attack. They circle around in a small diameter and in the process, Zsuzsa is now flat on her stomach with Silvie is pressing her from above.

They struggle more. Zsuzsa manages to escape and wraps her right arm around Silvie’s neck.

They separate to start again.

Zsuzsa lunges at Silvie and secures a headlock and takes the gorgeous redhead down to the mats. She is hanging on for dear life as we are wondering how many submission opportunities is Zsuzsa going to get.

Can she get it done here?

Silvie breaks the hold.

The two warriors circle around and Silvie gains the frontal advantage with Zsuzsa not far from being captured in a Guillotine Choke as the sexy brunette is bent forward. Zsuzsa has given up her back and is on her knees as Silvie quietly hovers from behind her, trying to maneuver the Hungarian veteran into a rear naked choke. The Czech princess rolls Zsuzsa into a side body scissors coupled with a side choke and is coming in for the kill as Zsuzsa tries to fight her off. Zsuzsa tries to get to her knees but Silvie side slams her back down.

It’s too much.

Zsuzsa taps out.

Silvie leads 3-0. (7:18).

Zsuzsa is struggling. That’s an understatement. Silvie is a talented and tough wrestler, but not a world beater as we found out when she was easily defeated by Kimbra. But for emphasis, she is good.

Zsuzsa is losing so steadily here that it makes us wonder what is going on.

We are repeating ourselves but it doesn’t look like she has fully embraced MMA. She is smaller than many of the girls and with athletic supports on her elbows and knees, she appears to be competing with injuries.

Here, it is not just that she is losing, it is how she is losing.

Slowly.

Methodically.

Non-threatening, on her part.

This could change but we sense not dramatically. We’ll see.

They slowly engage again with Zsuzsa aiming for Silvie’s head and neck area, achieves her goal of the headlock but only temporarily as Silvie easily breaks the hold.

The two silent warriors engage again.

Silvie is playing it passively, allowing Zsuzsa to be the slow aggressor until she grabs her wrists and tries to lock Zsuzsa into a floor to sitting body scissors but Zsuzsa leaps out of the hold and grasps Silvie’s upper torso and cascades into a MMA arm lock around Silvie’s face, coupled with a smother.

Great position.

Can she crank, tighten and smother?

Silvie breaks the hold.

They sit apart to regroup.

Once again Zsuzsa grips a fierce headlock and takes Silvie down to the black mats. The Hungarian star is wise and experienced enough to position herself on top with that brutal headlock. Silvie is breathing hard under the pressure.

Will this be Zsuzsa’s chance for her first submission?

Not to be.

Silvie forcefully pushes Zsuzsa’s head back towards her powerful thighs. Further and further as Zsuzsa tries to resist. Finally Zsuzsa lets out a scream from briefly getting trapped and taps out.

4-0 for Silvie (9:36).

Like silent predatory cats they eye one another.

Slowly.

This time Silvie is the first to strike and boy does she make it count. She traps Zsuzsa in a Guillotine Choke, lifts upward and squeezes hard. Zsuzsa screams and says something in Hungarian. She is either angry, frustrated or both. We’re not sure what happened but we see it as a submission.

5-0 for Silvie (10:05).

They slowly prepare to fight, moving towards one another from the knees.

Zsuzsa lunges and traps Silvie in a brutal headlock, from the top. We have seen this movie before and sense the “Silvie Forcefully Responds” sequel is coming. Though Zsuzsa is in the position of strength, profusely squeezing Silvie’s neck and head area, for some time, Silvie is proving to be too strong and patient. Once more she pushes Zsuzsa’s head back towards her thighs, traps her smaller prey, squeezes and breaks Zsuzsa’s headlock.

The larger redhead is now on top of Zsuzsa who is in the turtle position.

Silvie is very patient as she rides the brunette, waiting for an opening.

She gets one.

She performs a semi-Full Nelson and begins to pull Zsuzsa backwards. She adeptly moves Zsuzsa in a behind the back body scissors and all she needs to do is apply a fierce choke.

She doesn’t.

Yet.

Instead she smoothly slides Zsuzsa into a side body scissors and NOW applies a brutal choke and the combination of the two holds proves to be too much for the DWW Alum and Zsuzsa quickly taps out.

6-0 for the Czech Maiden (12:15).

Zsuzsa soon gains the upper hand with another headlock that would normally gain her a submission against newer girls, like Beatrix, but not here. Silvie is pushing back while Zsuzsa holds the top position.

Another sequel.

Silvie fiercely pushes back on Zsuzsa’s head and the smaller brunette screams again and the hold is broken.

Frustrating for certain but Zsuzsa needs to stay focused.

Silvie has no quit in her or mercy.

We greatly respect that. Compete hard until the end.

She manages Zsuzsa into another cradle, grasping her from behind the back and slowly riding her for another submission. Zsuzsa is fending her off from the turtle position as the redhead quietly exudes in her complete domination of a legend.

Time is called.

This was a slow burn masterpiece by Silvie. She beat Zsuzsa to the punch, was very patient and very exacting in her domination.

When we saw that Silvie had previously dominated Germany’s Curie, we were a little puzzled.
