Incredible Las Vegas Memories, Vibrant Film, Women’s Wrestling, Show Girl Venues

Everyone has a past.

Sometimes unfortunately.

The great new is, if you are a beautiful girl in or headed to Las Vegas, you will always have a bright future as well.

FCI has been there, a number of times, mostly covering women’s fully competitive wrestling events, and we had an incredible time, every time.

We sense you will too.

Briefly, we will share a wonderful past memory.

Back in April of 2015, our writer covered a fully competitive female wrestling event in Vegas. There were so many gorgeous starlets he met up close. He interviewed them, had dinner with them and went to Cirque du Soleil with them.

What a wonderful time.

There was one babe who really stood out. Here is his take.

“When this writer saw Jei for the first time standing by the social table at the event facilities, I had one major question.

Who is this gorgeous girl?

So often the sensuous girls with the tattoos and artistic hair styles may come across as tough and rough but my experience with them is they are typically extremely feminine and crave to be dominated. I began to project my past onto Jei.

I walked over to find out. It’s my job.

Jei is her name and fortunately, among other talents, grappling is her game.

The information flowed. A Military Princess, Jei traveled the globe with her family. An only child, her parents poured all their love and affection on her. Being raised in that environment, it’s only natural that Jei loves engagement. She also grew up with a lot of male uncles and cousins that were boys so her aggressive spirit is understandable.

Our sexy girl is also a singer and a model which has taken her on the artistic road as well.

What she likes about wrestling is that the other girls are very professional and know their boundaries so no one gets hurt. It’s competitive, but a fun competitive.

Okay, if you say so.

She recently experienced a surgery six months ago and she lost much of her fitness and is working hard to get back into fighting shape.

Jei is an enjoyable interview. She’s personable, down to earth, forth-coming, accommodating and gracious. This writer wanted to see more of her so you can imagine my delight when she agreed to attend dinner with our group.

One of the greatest joys in life is having dinner with gorgeous women. Fantastic food and beautiful women go together like Las Vegas and an energetic night life.

She’s very popular so I knew I would have to do some maneuvering to sit near her. I brought my A game and orchestrated sitting across from Jei. We laughed and talked endlessly. It was a happy time and why shouldn’t it be. What was on the menu?

Tender crab legs. Yummy.

Just when you think you’ve experienced most of what the competitive women’s wrestling world has to offer, you meet a Fem Competitor like Jei who lets you know that richer times are ahead.

The night ended too soon but Jei and I exchanged cards and will stay connected.

She’s going to cause the new expression, “Female Wrestling and Dinner” to become more commonplace in dreams and fantasies.”

It sure is easy to fall in love with her on the big screen.

Remember Show Girls?

It wasn’t Gone With The Wind, but it sure was a lot of fun. The classic B movie with a predictable but enjoyable script that you would absolutely watch more than once, not because of the story, but because of the gorgeous woman who mesmerizes in the starring role.

Showgirls is a 1995 French-American erotic drama film written by Joe Eszterhas and directed by Paul Verhoeven.

It stars Elizabeth, a former teen actress, Kyle MacLachlan, and Gina Gershon.

We might say an over the top Gina Gershon who added a lots of pizzazz to the friction.

The film centers on a “street-smart” drifter who ventures to Las Vegas and climbs the seedy hierarchy from stripper to showgirl.

Produced on a then-sizable budget of approximately $45 million, significant controversy and hype surrounding the film’s amounts of sex and nudity preceded its theatrical release. In the United States, the film was rated NC-17 for “nudity and erotic sexuality throughout, some graphic language, and sexual violence.”

Showgirls was the first, and to this day, only NC-17 rated film to be given a wide release in mainstream theaters.

Distributor United Artists dispatched several hundred staffers to theaters across North America playing Showgirls to ensure that patrons would not sneak into the theater from other films, and to make sure film-goers were over the age of 17.

Audience restriction due to the NC-17 rating coupled with poor reviews resulted in the film becoming a box office bomb, grossing just $37 million.

Here was a review found at our favorite review site rogerebert.com, “A sleazefest like “Showgirls” promises the inside dope on Las Vegas, stripping, hooking and all that stuff. What “Showgirls” delivers, however, seems basically to be Joe Eszterhas’ masturbatory fantasies.”

Hey now, don’t hold back. Tell us what you really think. Is there more? Of course.

They continue, “The screenplay is the fevered product of a very limited imagination, brought to a high gloss in a slick, expensive soap opera.

“Showgirls” is the first big-budget “adults only” movie in a few years and, to be sure, it contains so much nudity that the sexy parts are when the girls put on their clothes.”

Well, we are certainly not one to disagree with the master reviewers but actually our view of what was sexy in the movie was a little different.

Didn’t we say that it was type of movie you watch more than once?

Despite a negative theatrical and critical consensus, Showgirls enjoyed success on the home video market, generating more than $100 million from video rentals, allowing the film to turn a profit and become one of MGM‘s top 20 all-time bestsellers.

Anyway, it was the first time we saw Elizabeth since her teeny bopper days as Jessie Spano, a role she played on the TV series, Saved by the Bell, from 1989 to 1993.

Life is about transition, especially in the competitive acting industry.

Elizabeth’s life is a wonderful study in transition.”

Yes, it is indeed.

One more guilty pleasure.

He attended Crazy Girls. Have you heard of them?

It is a Las Vegas burlesque venue that has been around for over three decades.

Our associate described it as burlesque on steroids.

Here is how Trip Advisor describes it, “After 31 years, America’s longest running Burlesque show is clearly a permanent fixture on the Las Vegas Strip. The ultra-sultry show has entertained millions of audience members by constantly pushing the envelope night after night.”

They sure do.
