September 18, 2023,

We’re still trying to wrap our brains about Iron’s wrestling.

If her wrestling were based upon muscular looks, she would be a super star.

And yet, in reviewing some of her matches, we thought she would do better. Like her match against Italy’s beautiful Venere.

Venere’s matches are a little hard to review because she infuses so much of her personality into them that it is challenging to tell when she is kidding or serious. We rate her skills slightly above a beginner. She wrestles in the same circles as the other Italian girls in Bianca, Pamela, Samantha and Gaia.

We thought Iron would dominate her easily, yet she didn’t. It was a very close call.

Iron was easily defeated by DWW alum Kimbra. No shame there, most are. She had lopsided losses to Italy’s Pamela and Bianca, as well. So we ask ourselves the question, in terms of her wrestling, who is Iron, really?

Today she will be facing another Hungarian star in elegant Amanda, who has model looks and would appear spectacular, dressed in black, and shown off around town at the finest restaurants in Budapest.

Amanda can be a solid wrestler at the lower mid-level range. She handily defeated sweet Mary in a fairly lopsided victory, so while we would give the nod to Iron, nothing is certain here.

Time to find out.

AMANDA VS IRON

Aisa will serve as referee today. As usual, she admonishes them to take care.

The two Hungarian beauties look enticing, both dressed in black.

They begin on their knees, circling with hand fighting until Iron takes Amanda down to the mats, is on top of her, while Amanda prevents a full mount, scissoring Iron’s right leg. Amanda struggles and breaks free.

As they re-engage, after initial hand fighting, Iron takes Amanda down again with a headlock, from the upper torso area, so this time, Amanda has no leg to scissor. Instead, in a cross body position, Iron scissors Amanda’s right arm while she applies a headlock. A two hold combination is always better than one. Amanda continues to struggle underneath.

Iron can’t seem to make up her mind as to what to do. She is in positions of strength (yes, plural), from the top, and yet she keeps changing holds, Next she sits on top of Amanda, contemplating a frontal smother, then she rolls to the side and captures Amanda’s left arm, in an arm bar.

The camera work is magnificent, as it captures Amanda’s statuesque, smooth and shapely legs of perfection, as she futilely struggles underneath.

They both are struggling, trying to find their way, but the difference in the match is that Iron is continually doing it from the top and Amanda from the bottom.

Something has to give, and it is Amanda. She finally taps out. From the bottom.

1-0 for Iron (3:00).

Time to start again.

They are circling and once again, even though they are both doing the same thing, Amanda is doing it from a position of weakness, this time continually backing up as Iron is stalking her. It is a tough call to fight it out from the top, since twice previously, Iron has taken her down with a headlock.

Amanda is running out of space. You can only back up so far. The gorgeous long haired brunette has run out of blue mat real estate as she is up against the wall. Literally.

Iron, once again, takes her down with a headlock, but makes a mistake and loses it. She has now given up her back to Amanda. Will Amanda take advantage of that mistake?

Yes she does.

She better.

We sense she will have limited opportunities here, so when she finally gets one, take advantage of it. She captures Iron from behind with a scissor and is wise enough to apply a rear naked choke as well. Combination holds are always better than one. Your opponent now how to decide which lock to pick first while the other, unpicked, is throttling her. Iron taps out.

1-1 (3:44).

Next batter up.

They begin hand fighting and both miss at attempted headlocks. Due to Iron’s muscular strength, she has the advantage. She takes Amanda down as the Hungarian maiden scissors her left leg, hoping to prevent a full mount. Still, once again, Amanda is fighting from the bottom.

Iron goes to work.

She immediately pulls out of the scissor on her left leg, slides forward and begins to apply a smother. Amanda struggles underneath but is making no headway. Using her foot, she taps out.

2-1 for Iron (4:42).

As they begin again, Iron is the aggressor as Amanda keeps her hands at chest level, leaps at Iron’s head for a headlock. It is a great idea with poor execution. She does indeed get the headlock but does not secure the top position which almost renders it meaningless. Iron takes advantage of being on top and is now starting to bully Amanda around with her muscles. She firmly encases Amanda’s left arm into a scissor.

Locked that down.

Iron now uses her arms to secure a firm headlock on a groaning Amanda.

The long haired Hungarian girl tries to kick her legs under Iron’s neck to pull her backwards but Iron wisely leans her head forward. There is nothing more for Amanda to do, so she taps out.

3-1 for Iron (5:46).

Amanda tentatively is looking for an opening. Iron is growing more confident, waiting for the statuesque princess to make a mistake.

She does.

Amanda leaps for Iron’s head, and misses. In the ensuing struggle, Iron lowers Amanda’s head and pulls her forward right into a forceful Guillotine Choke. That’s all she wrote. Amanda taps out.

4-1 for Iron (6:19).

This is the point in the match where, if Amanda cannot find an effective offensive approach, this is about to turn into a blowout. Thus far, very little is working. She got her submission off of an Iron mistake.

Tough way to make a wrestling living.

They begin again.

Iron is silently looking into Amanda’s eyes, almost taunting the brunette to do something. Iron keeps her hands at her side in a passive position. Amanda engages her and they tumble to the mats, in the struggle, Amanda desperately tries for a floor to sitting body scissor. She wisely pulls Iron’s head forward and downward and squeezes hard on that scissor. Iron taps out.

4-2, Iron in the lead (7:00).

Iron was a little lackadaisical on the last segment and paid the price for it. She has now let Amanda back into the match instead of completely demoralizing her. She will probably get away with it today but we sense that is one of the reasons why, in previous match reviews, despite her strong muscular form, she loses. Life lesson? In competition?

Always stay focused.

Every moment counts.

Give your best effort. Always.

Never taunt your opponent.

Could we be wrong about what Iron did here? Maybe. We hope so.

Time to start again.

This time Iron presents a more intense approach and immediately takes Amanda down with a headlock. She clasps Amanda’s right arm in a scissor as she uses her muscular form to try and submit Amanda from the top, cross body pin style.

Ananda still has spirit.

She keeps fighting and escapes.

Iron keeps her intensity, tracks Amanda down, applies a fierce left arm bar and Amanda taps out.

Very good.

Iron leads 5-2 (7:51).

The stronger Hungarian maiden now takes complete control of the match. Whatever inkling Amanda had that she could evenly compete with Iron is now gone.

She is in survival mode.

Iron forcefully takes her down with a headlock and immediately moves into the top position, sitting on top of Amanda. She collects Amanda’s arms to prevent defensive moves there.

They struggle.

She maneuvers Amanda into a floor to sitting body scissor and has the muscles in her legs to make it stick. Iron squeezes hard and Amanda taps out.

6-2 for Iron (8:54).

Time to start.

Amanda is tentative. Understandably as Iron is really starting to take it to her. Iron captures her again, as Amanda is bent over and pulled into a semi-Guillotine choke. Iron begins to open up the playbook. She let’s go of the choke, has Amanda flattened out, slides forward and performs a smother, not even using her hands to place behind Amanda’s neck and pull her head snug under the chest. Again, Iron smothers her with no hands. Amanda taps out.

7-2 for Iron (9:39).

They start with hand fighting.

Amanda has both a look of desperation and determination on her face. She applies a move of desperation that mostly doesn’t work. But here it does.

The floor to sitting body scissor.

She traps Iron in the hold, breathing profusely, she pulls Iron’s head downward and continues to squeeze. Iron taps out.

Iron’s lead is reduced to 7-3 (10:03).

Time to engage.

Iron stalks Amanda as she backs up. The muscular girl catches up to Amanda and applies a floor to sitting body scissor herself. What’s good for the one is good for all. Amanda is tired. This shouldn’t last long and it doesn’t. In pain, Amanda taps out.

8-3 for Iron.

The match is over.

This match was revealing and intriguing on a number of levels.

In our opinion, this is one of Iron’s better matches. Yes, you only look as good as your opponent allows you to, and Amanda is not at Iron’s skill level, but an argument could be made, neither was Italy’s Venere and she only lost to Iron 1-2.

We sense that part of the reason Iron loses in lopsided scores is that she loses intensity and focus, as she did here, even for a moment.

The Amanda’s of the wrestling world allow her to get away with that.

The Kimbra’s and Bianca’s do not.

She has the muscles. She has the skills.

So what gives?

Once Iron ratcheted up her intensity and focus, Amanda didn’t stand a chance.

We have purchased extensively from Antscha’s store, so we have Iron vs Samantha, Jenna (FWZ), Kiniku and Zara, that we are now going to re-visit.

We give Amanda tons of credit here for not giving up.

She was out gunned but kept her focus the entire match.

While Amanda is higher than a newer girl level, she is not substantially over that. Still, she is incredibly beautiful to watch. Her long smooth legs are to die for. Her beautiful dark hair to dream about. We love to watch women, who take their wrestling seriously, to compete at all levels.

Including Amanda’s.

Another great female wrestling match for the history books.
