Is she our Marilyn Monroe?

Is she our Kim Novak?

Those two gorgeous blonde actresses have to be in the running for the most beautiful actress of all-time.

We can’t put Jenna in that category because they were blonde and Jenna is a brunette.

Still, Jenna of Hungary, has to be one of the most beautiful female submission wrestlers and a Session Star, who blessed our industry.

She was a very good wrestler too. At times. In private settings she did well but on the world’s biggest stage, at the great Femwrestle Events in Troisdorf, she struggled.

Today we are going to walk down memory lane and review Jenna’s match against the Czech Republic’s Artemis, another very good wrestler, but yet to be one of the elite. Here Jenna has a slight weight advantage and more experience, but will it be enough?

Time to find out.

ARTEMIS VS JENNA

The two beautiful athletes begin with the usual posing. Jenna is all smiles in her pink sports bra and colorful briefs. Artemis looks stealth and ready for action in her bright yellow top and pink shorts.

They come to center stage and get ready to make history.

The upper torso struggle begins and Jenna, being a little bit stronger, wins that engagement and pushes Artemis backwards and down on to her back. Jenna gains control in the cross body position and then transfers it to a semi-elongated position with Artemis trying to kick out underneath.

Artemis keeps kicking until she actually moves Jenna off of her and immediately is atop the gorgeous shapely Hungarian legend. Jenna kicks back and they accidentally fall off of the mats.

Time to re-engage.

They begin with the upper torso struggle but this time Artemis is more forceful and pushes Jenna backwards and is the first to gain the mount position. Jenna meekly attempts a floor to sitting body scissor but the skilled Artemis easily breaks that hold.

Time for some star gazing. We see the perfectly shaped Alkaia and the elegant Lilith sitting in the corner watching.

Jenna regains the floor to sitting body scissor and captures Artemis neck at the same time. She squeezes. Artemis is in pain but is not ready to submit. Jenna turns the hold on her side, has the side body scissor poised, but as Ron at Cal Supreme used to say, stretch out your legs, squeeze and she will give up.

Jenna did not stretch out her legs in that side body scissor.

The match’s first big mistake.

Jenna now rolls on top of Artemis and let’s go of that potential lethal hold. She stays on top but surprisingly, for a veteran, appears to have no real plan as to what to do with the top position.

Artemis patiently struggles underneath, waiting for her chance to break the hold.

Jenna is still on top and clasps Artemis left wrist. Why not just move forward, press her chest down and apply a full smother? What is Jenna waiting for?

They struggle, but the struggle is starting to swing Artemis way. She soon is in the sitting position, off of her back. Jenna’s back is now to the floor as she applies the often ill-fated floor to sitting body scissor.

A talented wrestler like Artemis breaks that hold and now is firmly on top, capturing Jenna in a brutal headlock. She squeezes hard. Jenna taps out. What a turn of events. When Artemis had her opportunity, she quickly made the most of it.

Jenna squandered hers.

1-0 for Artemis (5:18)

Simply put, Jenna is now in trouble.

Especially emotionally. Why?

Jenna is a confidence fighter.

At the private gyms where Jenna has wrestled, especially in Hungary, she is on her home turf in company fights. She tends to be a middle packer, which is good, but not spectacular. She knows the other wrestlers well and their tendencies.

Here, at a major event, once she gets behind, she is out to sea.

We have seen this video years ago but sometimes, when Jenna loses a clear upper hand, as she did here, she tends to lose confidence and collapse.

We’ll see if that happens here.

More star gazing. We see England’s Mystique, looking sensational in a white sweater, sitting in the audience.

Time to wrestle.

The too gorgeous girls fight at the upper torso. Artemis has grown more confident and easily wins that battle. She is now on top of Jenna and applying another brutal headlock. Jenna tries to encase the Czech warrior in her strong legs but can’t. Artemis continues to crank on that headlock, from the top position.

To our surprise, Jenna slightly escapes. We expected her to tap out. Good for her, but don’t get too excited. She is still on the bottom.

To our surprise, Jenna fights mightily and gets to her knees but Artemis is not letting go of that brutal headlock. She uses it as leverage to smack Jenna back down to the mats, tightens it and the beautiful feminine brunette from Hungary taps out.

2-0 for Artemis (7:10).

When the match began, Jenna was full of smiles. Not now, as she appears to have slightly injured her jaw and neck. Fully competitive women’s wrestling is indeed a rough sport. The veteran will continue, but right now, the momentum has completely swung to Artemis.

Artemis is primed and ready to kick some tail. First the mild hand fighting. Then she leaps at Jenna, pulls her neck and head downward, and immediately is riding the shapely feminine wrestler from the top. She applies a right rear naked choke, pulls the sweet helpless Jenna back into a behind the back scissor and does what Ron at Cal Supreme instructed over and over.

The determined Czech princess elongates her leg scissor, squeezes, Jenna groans loudly and taps out.

That is what Jenna should have done earlier instead of letting the hold go. Now this match is about to get away from her.

3-0 for Artemis (7:55).

If you find public domination matches sexy, this match is about to fill the bill.

Jenna needs a moment.

And a coach.

The quiet beautiful feminine girl gathers herself and straightens her hair. She is stunned and trying to recover. Artemis sits smartly and confidently, staring at Jenna. The referee crawls over to Jenna and asks if she is okay. As a warrior, this is not what you want. People feeling sorry for you.

Like an eagle quietly watching her prey, Artemis continues to blankly stare, ready to pound Jenna into permanent submission.

This is what we love, when women’s wrestling matches are truly competitive, on the world’s largest stage.

Ready or not Jenna, time to begin.

Jenna is passive. She has her hands up, but in a defensive position. Artemis is the aggressor as she lunges forward and snaps Jenna’s head downward but misses the mark. Jenna falls out of her clutches and aggressively moves forward into Artemis floor to sitting body scissor. Artemis has captured Jenna’s left wrist to lessen resistance.

Jenna has not given up as she drives both elbows into Artemis knees. Then into Artemis stomach.

Artemis has not given up either.

She continues to control Jenna with her strong stealth legs. She leaps up from the floor and pulls Jenna’s head downward into a tight lock. Jenna sighs and taps out.

4-0 for the young Czech star (9:27).

The room has gone silent. Like a quiet crowd watching an NFL team not only getting beaten 40-0, but two of the star players got knocked out of the game with injuries.

Jenna wipes her eyes. We can’t see but hopefully she is not crying. The ref crawls over again to look into Jenna’s face, possibly to see if she wants to give. No shame in that.

(Whisper), says who?

Jenna is the most experienced wrestler here, years in a strong Hungarian stable with former DWW stars like Antscha, Zsusza, Kimbra and Viktoria. She is not supposed to be losing to someone like this, who we guess, at least 50 percent of the audience doesn’t really know.

Time to fight some more.

They wait passively for the other to make the move. In an act of sympathy (from our view), Artemis tones down her aggression and lets Jenna make the first move. The beautiful brunette does, pushes Artemis back and leaps on top of her. Looks good, but the problem is, she appears to have no plan.

Artemis surges and rolls back on top of Jenna, complete with a tight headlock. The wind completely out of Jenna’s sails, the Hungarian legend taps out.

5-0 for Artemis (10:18).

Jenna pauses and starts passively.

Artemis waits for her to be aggressive and Jenna responds by taking Artemis down to the mats and mounts the slender European girl in a cross body position. Artemis once again locks in the headlock. From the bottom. They struggle. This is the best pinning position Jenna has thus far in the match. They have rolled to the edge of the match. Jenna is covering Artemis face. The ref comes over and asks Artemis is she okay? She then taps Jenna’s thigh.

The audience thinks Artemis has tapped out and applauds.

We did not see Artemis tap out. The ref tapped Jenna’s thighs. We may never know how this point in the match was longed. No matter, the girls are back at the center, ready to start again.

Jenna needs a moment to blow her nose. Maybe allergies. Artemis declines the tissue.

Time to engage.

Jenna immediately captures Artemis in a floor to sitting body scissor. She appears to be energized again. She has not given up. Artemis resists, breaks the hold and is now trying to mount Jenna.

She successfully does.

Once again, Jenna is struggling underneath. She has encased Artemis in a headlock but from the bottom position. Advantage Artemis. Jenna’s movements are pushing the actions towards out of bounds so Artemis wisely steers the action back toward the center.

The sensational Czech girl remains on top.

Jenna is groaning. On cue, Artemis rolls Jenna into a side body scissor, squeezes and the beautiful Jenna taps out.

6-0 for Artemis (13:50).

Until we find out differently, we are not counting where the ref tapped Jenna’s thigh as a submission. Hopefully before this video is over, we will find out if it was.

Looking a little worse for the wear, Jenna sits and adjust her necks. Like that powerful eagle, Artemis is quietly perched, ready to pounce and pound submissive Jenna.

Good girl.

If Jenna is not ready for battle, and she doesn’t appear to be today, that is not Artemis fault.

And remember, Jenna is the caliber of wrestler who defeated muscle girl Dolly of Hungary.

Artemis should not let off the gas and start joking and talking to the audience, like so many do, turning the match into a sparring session and a joke.

As they engage, Jenna is passive, literally waiting and waiting for Artemis to make the first move.

Okay, fine.

Artemis forcefully grabs Jenna behind the neck, pulls her head down, whips behind the Hungarian star then clenches her into a rear naked choke and behind the back scissor. That turns in into a side body scissor. Artemis, a complete pro, elongates her legs, squeezes and Jenna painfully taps out.

7-0 for Artemis (14:52).

Jenna takes her time to get ready.

They engage. Artemis grabs Jenna’s right ankle and pushes her backwards. Once again Jenna is on the bottom but manages to grasp Artemis in a headlock to prevent a full mount. Artemis tries to pick the lock to continue her domination.

Jenna resists that notion.

She fights back, struggles but manages to push her way on top of Artemis. Jenna captures Artemis in a tight headlock, from the top position. Artemis is gasping.

But not giving up.

She pushes Jenna’s legs away and breaks the hold.

Another major submitting opportunity lost for Jenna.

They begin to struggle. Artemis is back on top, then Jenna. The talented Czech breaks the stalemate and captures Jenna from behind. Jenna is desperately trying to prevent a behind the back scissor, even though Artemis has her upper torso in a full nelson.

Artemis begins to apply the behind the back scissor which morphs into the very dangerous side body scissor. Jenna is pushing their bodies towards the edge of the mats. If successful, Artemis will have to break the hold.

Artemis quickly circles around Jenna to bring the fight back in play.

The Czech maiden is once again in control.

She has Jenna from behind and deciding which direction to go. She chooses the side body scissor. It has worked before. Most likely it could work again. It does. She squeezes hard and Jenna quietly taps out.

8-0 for Artemis (18:40).

Jenna needs a breather. She sits there for a moment. Now she is ready.

Jenna surprises Artemis by catching and trapping her with a one arm behind the neck choke. This time, Artemis is truly in trouble. Jenna hangs on for dear life, squeezes and a grimacing Artemis taps out. Wonderful job by Jenna.

8-1 for Artemis.

One last round.

The two sit quietly, Jenna breathing harder. Hey, 20 minutes is a tremendously long time to wrestle full tilt. Even 10 minutes is draining. These old Femwrestle matches were quite the gem.

As they begin to fight, Jenna gains the top position while Artemis holds on to a headlock, from the bottom. Jenna should try and close this out from the top. Once again, they are at the edge of the mats.

Jenna runs out of time.

The referee raises Artemis arm in victory.

The eagle has landed.

SUMMARY

Every industry that hopes to be taken seriously needs to have a verifiable, substantiated and valuable history.

It is wrestlers like Jenna, who compiled an extensive resume, competing during her time period, that make certain keepers of history, like FCI, understand our responsibility, if we want the memories of our fully competitive female submission wrestling industry to survive.

Jenna was a star on so many levels.

We will repeat it again.

She was one of the best looking women to ever grace our industry with her European girl next door looks, her beautiful shapely body and full calves along with her quiet, sweet feminine demeanor.

In victory or defeat she always displayed class.
