Femwrestle Classic, Czech Republic’s Diana Vs Hungary’s Suzie, Slow Burn Ground War

International matches became lore at the great Femwrestle events in Troisdorf Germany.

They were the best that the known women’s submission wrestling world had to offer.

In today’s matchup, Czech Republic super star Diana vs Hungary’s legendary Suzie, we expect Diana to win but Suzie has an extensive resume and could give her trouble.

They have very contrasting styles, so in front of a live audience, things could get interesting.

The two gorgeous women stand while Honey of LWS fame introduces them.

They begin with hand fighting and then Suzie does something questionable.

She immediately falls to the mat floor and tries to apply a floor to sitting body scissor.

Bad move.

In a strange way, whenever a wrestler resorts to that, it appears to be an indicator that she is not confident that she can out muscle her opponent up top, where initially it matters the most to try and get that coveted headlock and take your opponent down to the mat floor, fall on top of them and apply pressure with your body weight.

Typically the wrestler who resorts to the floor to body scissor first?

Is going to lose the match.

So now, Diana, from the sitting position is on top of Suzie, courtesy of Suzie. Diana, a quiet champion, is going to now keep Suzie pinned to the floor. They fight for wrist control with Diana gaining the advantage. Suzie begins to twirl around from the bottom. She scissors Diana’s left leg to prevent a full mount, but loses it. That gives Diana the measure to apply more upper body smash down leverage and Suzie taps out.

1-0 for Diana (2:58).

They engage again with hand fighting and upper struggle, though it is not really a struggle as Diana muscles Suzie down to the mats, maneuvering for hand control, as she smartly uses her body weight to lay on top of the Hungarian star.

Suzie slowly circles around and struggles underneath, her smooth beautiful legs offering little protest. The veteran does try and block Diana with her left leg but the Czech star continues to apply the pressure.

They jockey around as Diana places Suzie’s left arm between her legs and applies a cross body pin.

Suzie breaks the hold.

They struggle some more and as soon as Suzie ascends, Diana Monkey Flips her and is back on top. She now captures Suzie’s right arm, from the top, in a sitting position, leg cranks her arm and Suzie taps out.

2-0 for the Czech star (4:55).

Time to engage.

They begin on their knees fighting for upper head and neck control. Diana wraps her right arm around Suzie’s neck. The Hungarian star resists. She soon wraps both of her hands behind Diana’s neck and tries to pull the beautiful blonde down. The Czech star goes with the flow but fools Suzie with a Monkey Flip. Suzie responds by quickly trapping Diana in a side body scissor.

Exceptional move.

Now, what will Suzie do with it?

Strong Diana gets to her knees and Suzie loses the hold.

The Hungarian beauty is now fighting from her back as Diana pressures her, trying to gain wrist control. Suzie surprises Diana with a floor Triangle Choke. Diana actually appears to be trapped. This goes on for almost a minute. We don’t pose the question, what will Suzie do with it, because we know she is not going to submit Diana this way. Diana eventually rolls Suzie backwards into a folding pin and they tumble off the mats.

Diana escapes.

They begin again and slowly maneuver for position. Diana has trapped Suzie in a floor to sitting body scissor. She lets go of it, pushes Suzie backwards, flattens her out and tries to mount her. Suzie quickly scissors Diana’s right leg to prevent a full mount. Diana evades the leg scissor and gains side control, then flips on top of Suzie for a full mount. She now can use her full body weight to press down on Suzie and does.

The Hungarian champion taps out.

3-0 for Diana (9:08).

The next stanza of the match takes a slow burn turn.

Suzie insists on wrestling with her back to the floor. She attempts a broken floor to siting body scissor and Diana patiently continues to fight from above. Mostly they are focusing on wrist control but neither is having great success at it.

Finally Diana swats Suzie’s leg aside and falls of top of her, courtesy of a failed floor to sitting body scissor move by Suzie.

The beautiful dark haired brunette continues to squirm underneath but it is the gorgeous Czech blonde who has taken control. The stronger girl continues to work Suzie’s wrist area over, looking for an opening while using her body weight on top. Off and on, Suzie has been scissoring Diana’s left leg to prevent a full mount but now the Czech maiden has broken through and is applying a full mount and smother.

She then rolls Suzie over.

Diana is on the bottom but applying an arm Triangle Choke with Suzie’s head and arm trapped inside.

Suzie breaks the hold.

They essentially start from scratch, though once again, Suzie is fighting from the bottom.

The two athletes become entangled for about a minute and Suzie breaks through with a side head scissor. She tries to apply the pressure, Diana flips over and now Suzie has her in a cross body pin. Diana is just too strong and breaks out of it.

They start over again, though at least this time, Suzie is in the sitting position.

The match has turned into slow motion maneuvering, which seems to favor Suzie. She traps Diana in a floor to bent over head scissor, in triangle form and Diana taps out. A little bit of a surprise but effective. Suzie is now on the board.

Diana’s lead is reduced to 3-1 (14:27).

A more aggressive match would have been in Diana’s favor but she seems to be content to take it slow. She is now applying a floor to sitting body scissor on Suzie, with little effect, and the Hungarian beauty appears to be gaining in confidence. They lightly struggle for a bit, then accidentally roll off of the mats and Honey, of LWS fame, admonishes them to come back to the center.

They engage.

Diana pushes Suzie over, gains the top position and begins to apply a wrist and joint lock on Suzie’s right arm. Then she cranks. Suzie verbally submits.

Diana leads 4-1 (17:16).

They slowly struggle once more until Diana captures a right arm bar. As Suzie is on her knees and bent over, Diana has the dark brunette’s arms trapped inside of a scissor, twisting on that arm bar until she gently flips Suzie over and the Hungarian girl taps out.

5-1 to Diana (19:35).

The match is now over. The two beautiful athletes shake hands and hug. As Honey walks over to raise the victor’s hand, Suzie claims to have two submissions. Honey looks a little confused and appears to have missed that and we as well.

No matter.
