One of the many things that we love about Monica’s live fully competitive events is how she introduces new wrestlers to us.

Our favorite match thus far is Cheetah vs April.

This is a slow burn erotic thriller with great camera work on ground struggle. You will not know who is going to win right up until the end. Kudos to the new girl for making this a tough fight.

Match reviews to come.

SESSION GIRL OF THE MONTH – LONDON’S KAOS

fciwomenswrestling.com femcompetititor.com grapplingstars.com, fciwomenswrestling.com fciwomenswrestling2.com Kaos-press-photo-Editorial-use.

We have an article on this very talented wrestler in our library. We have seen her take on greats Sativa and the legendary Kassidy.

She is the real deal. A true former MMA cage fighter. Not just trained in MMA but Kaos has competed in the sport.

She looks amazing and she is our Session Girl of the month.

Here is her profile, “Kaos lives for fighting. She has been training in Muay Thai since 2011 and has been training full time in wrestling, mma, kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu since 2016.

In 2019 she was the European Submission Wrestling Champion! And she trains several times a day, six days per week. Prior to her dedication to martial arts, Kaos was a model and an actress. A fierce opponent with stunning model looks, the combination doesn’t get better than that. So book Kaos for her fantasy role play skills or for a head to head grapple. Don’t miss your chance to meet a wrestling champion.”

And have an incredible session with her.

Have you seen these girls?

There appears to be a new Lady Pro game in town and of course it would take place in Las Vegas.

Meet the Ultimate Women of Wrestling.

At their about page they share, “Ultimate Women of Wrestling (UWW) is an all-female Pro Wrestling Organization located in the fight capital of the world that is going to appeal to everyone.

UWW is unique in so many ways, from our all-female staff, including the General Manager Jenni Santana, who is a two-time Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, as well as the daughter of WWE Hall of Fame member Tito Santana.

UWW will feature top tier talent of all ethnicities, sizes, ages, and experience. The UWW roster is the most diverse you will find.”

Sounds impressive.

They continue, “Many of the athletes have been seen on WWE, AEW, NWA, Impact, the roster is filled with veterans, upcoming talent, local talent, women from across the country, and around the world. One thing they all have in common is that they are top pro athletes. High Caliber competition, Code of Honor and Passion in the ring will be the driving force of the action.”

FEMALE MMA NEWS

The talented women of The Professional Fighter’s League (PFL) will soon be at it again.

As reported by ESPN, “Kayla Harrison looks to threepeat as the PFL women’s lightweight champion as she takes on Larissa Pacheco in the main event of the 2022 PFL Championship at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Friday, Nov. 25, in New York.

The fight card, which will feature 12 fights, including six $1 million championship bouts, will begin on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, then move to ESPN+ PPV starting at 8.”

The knock on Kayla is that as long as she fights solely in the PFL, she has yet to face a top level fighter. This could change. Immediately.

Who is Larissa Pacheco?

Larissa is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the Lightweight division of the PFL.

Since 2020, Ms. Pacheco was ranked within the top 10 of the Women’s Featherweight+ rankings by Fight Matrix, having been ranked as high as #7 from January to July 2020.

As of this October 1, 2022 writing, she is currently ranked #3.

At the age of 15, Larissa found her love of martial arts when she began Muay Thai.

Larissa made her UFC debut as an injury replacement for Valérie Létourneau, against Jéssica Andrade on September 13, 2014, at UFC Fight Night: Bigfoot vs. Arlovski.

2022 has been an exceptional year for Larissa.

She faced Zamzagul Fayzallanova on May 6, 2022 at PFL 3. She won the bout via TKO stoppage in the first round.

Very powerful.

She then faced Genah Fabian on July 1, 2022 at PFL 6. She won the bout via TKO stoppage in the first round.

Another impressive victory.

Then Larissa met a huge test. She faced Olena Kolesnyk in the Semifinals off the Women’s Lightweight tournament on August 20, 2022 at PFL 9. She won the bout via first round TKO stoppage.

Larissa has defeated some top fighters and what is most impressive is that she won all of those bouts in the first round.

Larissa’s overall record currently stands at 18-4.

This time Kayla may have her hands full. We look forward to this one.

ASPEN LADD

This is sad news but we can’t say that it is shocking. According to mmajunkie.usatoday.com, “Dana White says the UFC had no choice but to release Aspen Ladd.

Ladd (9-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) was cut by the promotion Tuesday after three fight cancellations caused by her missing weight. The 27-year-old was scheduled to face Sara McMann at UFC Fight Night 210, but the bout was scrapped after Ladd came in at 138 pounds, two pounds over the bantamweight limit.”

A number of sources have posted that Ms. Ladd has a long history of weight-cutting issues during her approximately five-year UFC career.

Part of the concern of not making weight and canceling fights is how the other fighters, their camp and families are involved. Some of these fights can take months to put together, at great expense, and then, not to have a pay day because the other fighter can’t make weight is devastating.

Given that she started her career at 8-0, we are sorry to see the downhill slide for Aspen.

We hope that she makes a comeback.

Well, that’s all of the news for now. We’ll see you back again on October 15, 2022.

Take care.
