Ginger Kataryna Vs Aneta, European New Girls Fight It Out, One Will Dominate
January 5, 2024,
A blank slate is not necessarily a clean slate.
In terms of wins and losses, blank can be the same as clean.
If you have never wrestled, on record, then the slate is clean.
Here, we have seen very little of both Ginger and Aneta.
Their slates are not exactly blank. Nor clean, since we’ve seen both of them primarily lose.
In fact, we have yet to see either one of them win.
That should change today.
This review is as October 31, 2023.
We first saw Ginger wrestle in an international match against Belgium’s Xena, in Antscha’s studio, during a live event.
Xena, a newer wrestler herself, completely dominated Ginger.
And that’s it.
With Czech Republic’s Aneta, we’ve seen her twice. She was thoroughly woman handled by the ferocious Andy and fared a little better against Dolly, but lost both.
Predictions?
Can’t do it.
That is part of the excitement here.
What we do know is that Aneta is incredibly sexy with loud honest grunts and groans when she is trapped in a tough scissor. Ginger is more of the silent type and incredibly sexy as well.
Ginger stands at 5’10” and Aneta at 5’9”. Two gorgeous statuesque model types.
Okay, who will win today, possibly for the first time? It is time to find out.
Let’s go ringside.
ANETA VS GINGER
The two begin on their knees, and as she should, Aneta begins to head hunt. Ginger, on the other hand, begins as most newer wrestlers do, attempting the often ineffective floor to sitting body scissor.
Aneta breaks the hold and slowly begins to take control.
They struggle.
Then, as a newer wrestler herself, Aneta grasps Ginger’s wrists, then behind the neck, and pulls her into a floor to sitting body scissor. The Czech beauty squeezes hard and places Ginger under duress. They are against the ropes as Ginger tries to break the hold. The statuesque athlete reaches around Aneta’s neck, using her right arm and traps the Czech princess in a Guillotine Choke, was in a sitting position but now pulls backwards and goes down to the floor in the elongated position. Aneta is bent over, then elongated as well. Aneta is under great duress. Ginger squeezes harder and Aneta taps out.
1-0 for Ginger (2:24).
They begin again on their knees.
Ginger immediately goes to the floor to sitting body scissor again but Aneta fights out of it.
With those very long legs, ginger stays in the sitting position, using her legs as a weapon. It is becoming very clear, though MMA trained, Ginger forsakes the upper hand to head and neck struggle, the traditional way to get a headlock, for this unusual, sit and fight from the floor, tactic.
Often not an effective strategy, as Ginger found out when she was soundly defeated by Belgium’s Xena. But here, at least up until now, this is the strategy of choice.
Oh, well.
In an elongated position the two tall model like girls scissor one another’s legs. Then they grasp one another’s ankles. Then Ginger tries another floor to sitting body scissor, a hold Aneta easily breaks.
Not a headlock in sight. The basic and most effective hold in women’s wrestling.
Ginger is managing to keep the position of control as Aneta has given up her back. The blonde beauty begins to apply a choke as Aneta tries to circle away, but thus far, cannot. Ginger continues to tighten the chokehold, Aneta screams and taps out.
2-0 for Ginger (4:27).
They begin again on their knees. The struggle now moves to the ground. Ginger manages to maintain the top position and reverse face sits Aneta, who then lifts her legs backward to trap Ginger in a scissor. It is now the type of situation where, who is in control, depends upon your point of view.
Ginger has Aneta trapped with a face sit or Aneta has captured Ginger in a scissor.
Time will soon tell who is in control.
Ginger groans and displays anguish, not from the pressure of the hold, but the struggle of trying to escape. They mutually scissor one another’s legs and then both holds are broken. Though free, Aneta has given up her back.
They remain on the floor and begin to leg fight, trying to scissor one another. Ginger breaks that pattern and while Aneta is facing away from her, flat on her stomach, Ginger sits on Aneta’s thighs, lifts Aneta’s legs, pulls backwards on her legs and ankles, almost back breaker style, and Aneta taps out. A little unusual but effective.
3-0 to Ginger (6:45).
One of the aspects to this fight that is becoming apparent is that Aneta is mounting very little effective offense.
The next stanza describes the epitome of Aneta’s newness.
They engage from the knees, Aneta wisely goes for the headlock but instead of pushing Ginger backwards so that she falls on top of her, she pulls Ginger towards her body and falls backwards. The good news is that she has the headlock, but the very bad news is that Ginger is on top of her.
The tall gorgeous blonde moves forward and since Aneta did not scissor one of her legs, is now in the full smother position. Aneta’s newness literally placed Ginger in this position of strength.
Ginger begins to take control as Aneta loses the headlock and fences her arms to try and block off the smother.
Fine.
Ginger forgets the smother, slides to her side and applies a brutal arm bar on Aneta who screams and says to stop.
Ginger leads 4-0 (7:50).
Ginger’s dominance is now becoming very evident. She trips Aneta at the ankles, the Czech princess gives up her back and Ginger is instantly on top of her applying a one arm choke and Aneta quickly taps out.
5-0 to Ginger (8:44).
Not only is Aneta new but not adequately trained. From the knees, she goes for the head lock, which is good but then she pulls Ginger towards her and downward, right on top of her.
Wrong move.
You fight for the top position, not willingly give it to your opponent. Hopefully Aneta learns that.
For a minute she has Ginger trapped in the headlock but the operative words are “for a minute”. Ginger easily breaks the headlock, they struggle and then Ginger mounts Aneta who is now in the turtle position.
Fortunately Aneta breaks out of that dilemma and the two beauties scramble from the floor using their legs to try and gain control. Aneta rises and tries to attack and mount Ginger. At least she now appears to be getting the point that control must come from the top position. Aneta finally gets a headlock from the top position.
Finally.
Unfortunately she loses it as Ginger wards her off from underneath.
They take a break and hit the restart button.
Back on their knees they engage in what looks like living room wrestling where the two girls kick at one another with their legs. Soon, Aneta accidentally is hit in the mouth, screams and they stop.
They begin again from their knees and scramble around without applying any real wrestling holds. Ginger performs the floor to sitting body scissor and Aneta yells, “stop”, and the match is now over.
Ginger wins 6-0.
In summary, their newness showed in different forms.
Ginger uses the ineffective floor to sitting body scissor approach, in the beginning of engagement, too often. While it worked okay against a girl at Aneta’s level, it will absolutely not work against more experienced wrestlers who will simply break the hold and fall on top of you. Ginger needs to pay her dues and fight it out at the top to secure a headlock.
Aneta needs more training. She fights it out and goes for the initial headlock, which is good, but she needs to stop falling backwards and pulling her opponent on top of her. That is literally giving them a gift submission.
All said and done, we loved the match.
FCI is a firm believer that all women, who are able, should give wrestling a try. Being new is great, as long as you learn the basic strategic holds along the way.
