Newer Female Wrestlers, Develop A Powerful Submission, Here Is How
January 28, 2024,
In professional tennis, it is a given that the top players can hit virtually every shot. So, in terms of victory, what separates them?
Yes, their stamina and internal makeup is essential. Having said that, most of the top players have that, otherwise they wouldn’t be top players.
The separator can become a powerful serve that is hard to return. Even if the opponent has a better ground game than you and more impressive net play, those elements are effective on their serve but when it comes to your turn to serve, if they have a hard time returning it, or returning it in a weak fashion, those elements become meaningless.
A powerful serve can win tie breakers and get you out of trouble.
In our fully competitive female submission wrestling industry, as a newer female wrestler, you need to develop a powerful weapon.
Not two.
Not three.
Just one.
An example of a female submission wrestler who has a very effective weapon is Sheena of Hungary.
Here is an excerpt from one of her articles, “Rage pops back up and is ready to go.
Sheena begins to, once again, take control, positioning Rage for a brutal monkey flip.
In that regard, Sheena is one of the few female submission wrestlers that employs this tactic and is very effective at it. You must be very skilled to pull off a monkey flip. What it does to the shocked opponent is that the crash landing temporarily stuns them and the tanned gorgeous strong athletic Sheena is immediately on top of them to submit them.
Rage is trying to avoid that fate.
She does. Perhaps temporarily.
Sheena is very agile, with movement like the free runner stunts in the opening sequences of the James Bond film, Casino Royale.
With agility, Sheena is moving around a floor trapped Rage, maneuvering for the kill as Rage tries to block and fight her off.”
Sheena has many powerful skillsets but the Monkey Flip that stuns, is a very powerful weapon.
Now, keep in mind, you must learn Jiu-Jitsu MMA and the basic wrestling holds, specifically the head lock, but once you get those basic holds down, you need to develop a weapon.
What would be our suggestion?
A combination hold.
Elongate your opponent and apply a rear naked choke up top and clasp a brutal scissor around her waist. This is a critical point.
Spend a lot of time perfecting this combination hold.
Go to a Dojo or gym, meet with an experienced MMA trainer and learn this combination hold. Again, you have already learned the basics so to make the most of your time and money, have your instructor teach you how to make the right moves to place you in a position to apply this combination hold. The reasoning behind it is simple.
Your opponent only has two hands.
Which lock is she going to pick?
The choke?
Or the scissor?
She can’t do both.
Whichever is the one she leaves unattended, that is where you increasingly apply the pressure to gain your submission. Against most of your opponents, they will have a very hard tie breaking both holds.
Let’s look at another example.
Bianca of Italy is one of today’s top female submission wrestlers. In her match against Hungary’s beautiful muscle girl Dolly, her strength was evident. Here is the match summary, “Bianca wins because she kept Dolly on her back, literally, for 95% of the match. After her dominant victory, Bianca praises Dolly for being resilient.
We appreciatively agree.
Large female submission wrestling life lesson.
When you are close in skill to your opponent and you both have your strengths, force your opponent to play to your strengths.
Don’t play to hers.”
Let’s get some strong advice.
Time to walk over to the bookstore.

Choke ’em Out: 65 Chokes to End Any Fight Fast Paperback – January 1, 2007
by Burton Richardson (Author)
“Why learn chokes? A martial artist or street fighter who believes that he can survive solely on powerful punches and kicks may be in for a rude awakening when the fight ends up in a clinch on the concrete–where knockout power is tougher to generate–or the attacker turns out to be high as a kite, crazed and immune even to the pain of broken bones. Simply put, when striking isn’t working, you need to be able to go to the one sure fight the choke.
Author Burton Richardson’s broad experience in the martial arts includes instructor’s credentials in Jeet Kune Do Concepts, Filipino kali (under Guro Dan Inosanto) and Kali Ilustrisimo, as well as a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In this incredibly detailed volume filled with hundreds of step-by-step photos, he gives you the best techniques he knows for ending fights quickly by demonstrating a wide variety of quick and effective chokes. When you need to knock the fight out of someone fast, these chokes will become your go-to moves.”
Well there you have it.
The basic principles of success applies across the board to virtually any sport. Here, in your quest to become a superior female submission wrestler, develop a power weapon.
