XENA’S BELGIUM WRESTLING PRODUCT ATTRACTING GLOBAL STARS

We have mentioned Belgium’s Xena’s fully competitive wrestling products on our news page before and every time we look, it just seems to get better.

We see the global super star Kourtney Olsen, a gorgeous muscle girl and famous for crushing watermelons with her thighs will be working with Xena.

This month, we turn your attention to Xena vs Germany’s Kiniku, who previously mostly wrestled at Antscha’s studios, but is taking risks and wrestling outside of her pond. She competed at a recent London’s Submission Room event and now she is facing off against Xena as well.

Here is the match description.

“Before arm wrestling which precedes the fight, Kiniku appears very arrogant and provokes Xena verbally by reminding her of a previous confrontation and by doing a series of push-ups “to warm up”, according to her…

But Xena does not let herself be impressed, and shows her opponent that she is also an expert in this field, by doing push-ups on one arm! It is clear that she will want to teach Kiniku a good lesson, and show her that she has total control during arm wrestling.

Tempers are therefore heated when the competitive wrestling match begins… and it will be a very good fight, with quite a few twists and turns! The girls will have a blast and will give you a great demonstration of all their technical palette: head scissors, body scissors, chokes, triangle… a good combo for a superb match in competitive mode.”

As a wrestler and recruiter, Xena is making a name for herself.

ITALIAN GIRLS COMPETITIVE WRESTLING EXPLOSION

For some time we have known about the great European company, Italian Female Wrestling. From a distance, we saw the girls wrestle mostly inside of their pond.

Wonderfully.

More wonderful is when they take risks and step outside of their pond and we’ve seen that with Michaela, Samantha, Gaia and the completely gorgeous Venere.

So, you can imagine our delight and surprise when the Italian girls starting expanding their talents to wrestle at Female Wrestling Zone (mature themes).

In this match we have a slightly more experienced Beatrice wrestling a cute muscle girl we haven’t seen much of before in Atra.

You’ll love this match. They really go at it from beginning to end and it is so good to see the Italian Girls continue to spread their wings and expand their horizons.

SATIVA VS KIM BICEPS (HAS KIM IMPROVED?)

fciwomenswrestling.com femcompetititor.com grapplingstars.com, Femwrestle Femcom Girls screen shot Editorial use

Sativa is one of the most elite fully competitive female submission wrestlers in the world. When most female wrestlers face her, they are going to lose, as Kim of Hungary has before.

They are going to wrestle again.

The big question we had was, has Kim improved, or will this be another blowout?

We purchased. As always, Sativa is at her best but what about Kim?

THE STARS (EVEN FROM THE PAST) CONTINUE TO COME OUT AT NIGHT

One of our associates is in discussion about a major family reunion.

Glad to hear that.

When it comes to the past, balance is the key. We don’t want to dwell on it too much but we can’t help but savor the important and wonderful times of our past.

Especially if they won’t be repeated.

We see Grappling Stars Magazine in that light.

The glorious San Francisco fully competitive women’s wrestling days are long gone. The historic days being almost a decade ago. We still swim in the memories though, because they were so good. Oh those sunny days traveling to sunny San Jose to meet at some quiet studio and shoot some super sexy women’s wrestling in bathing suits.

Never to happen again but we can certainly write about it and share them with you.

Here are some great articles about the glory days:

KAYLA HARRISON SCORES MAJOR UFC VICTORY

Kayla Harrison made her well-documented journey from the PFL to the UFC with a dominating victory.

On April 14, 2024, as reported by CBS news, “Two-time Olympic gold medalist judoka Kayla Harrison made her long-awaited UFC debut on the prelims of UFC 300 and quickly showed her skills. Harrison dominated former bantamweight champion Holly Holm before scoring a rear-naked choke to finish the fight in the second round.”

Kayla, an American professional mixed martial artist and multiple Olympic gold medalist and world champion judoka, currently competes in the Women’s Bantamweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

After the 2016 Olympics, Kayla moved into mixed martial arts and she was the former Professional Fighters League lightweight champion. In March 2023, Harrison was inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame.

As of April 16, 2024, she is #4 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings and she is #14 in the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings.

This super star continues to impress.

LIZ CARMOUCHE CONTINUES HER WINNING WAYS

When the emerging PFL and the legendary Bellator combined forces, it was massive news.

Now, that merger is starting to produce enticing entertaining fruit.

In a news release by PFL, here is a focus on one of the emerging super stars.

“Liz Carmouche is one of the pioneers of women’s MMA, competing on some of the biggest stages in this sport and challenging for multiple championships at bantamweight and flyweight. Carmouche, a USMC veteran, signed with Bellator in 2020 and ended up going a perfect 7-0, defeating her opponent tonight, Julianna Velasquez, to win the Bellator women’s flyweight championship. After defeating Velasquez in a rematch, Carmouche went on to also defend the championship against DeAnna Bennett and Ilima-Lei Macfarlane.”

A little closer look at Liz, because apparently, in the near future, we are going to hear a lot more about her. She is truly making some noise.

Liz is an American mixed martial arts fighter currently signed to Bellator MMA, where she is the current Bellator Women’s Flyweight World Champion.

She competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the Women’s Flyweight and Women’s Bantamweight divisions.

At the time of her UFC departure, she was #4 in the UFC women’s flyweight rankings.

Ms. Carmouche competed in the first ever women’s MMA match in the UFC when she competed against Ronda Rousey for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship at UFC 157.

A two-time title challenger, Carmouche also challenged for the UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship in August 2019 against Valentina Shevchenko.

Outstanding.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM IOWA’S GOVERNOR

As posted on April 3, 2204, thegazette.com educated, “Gov. Kim Reynolds made a proclamation Wednesday honoring the team.

“Whereas the Iowa women’s wrestling team began competition during its 2023-24 inaugural season … and whereas the Iowa women’s wrestling team won the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Tournament on March 9, 2024, bringing home the national championship title, six individual national championships, and 12 All-Americans for a historic end to its first-ever season …

“I, Kim Reynolds, governor of the state of Iowa do hereby proclaim April 3, 2024 as University of Iowa Women’s Wrestling Day.”

That is amazing.

Decades ago, as women’s wrestling was very slowly being accepted, who would have thought a state would make a proclamation that a Power Five school would have a statewide wrestling day named after them.

Wonders never cease and we feel, in terms of competitive women’s wrestling growth and acceptance, we are still in the very early stages.
