Regarding their most recent past event, on November 12, 2023, we purchased Roxy vs Inferno, Kaos vs Viktoria, Kaos vs Rapunzel, Viktoria vs Inferno, Viktoria vs Rapunzel and Roxy vs Kaos.
We have watched all of them and loved the matches. The legendary DWW-HWW alum Viktoria is curvy and sexy as ever. The Porcelain Princess Inferno continues to amaze and the former MMA fighter in Kaos showed some powerful skills. It would be great to support The Submission room with a purchase.
In terms of the match reviews, we will wait for a while to provide you with in depth reviews but keep an eye out in the coming months.
The December event promises to be special (thesubmissionroom.co.uk).
We’ll keep you up do date.
FANTASTIC, INTENSE SUBMISSION WRESTLING VIDEO
DWW alum and legend Zsuzsa always seems to find herself in very intense wrestling matches. That is one of the many things that we have always loved about her.
She now finds herself in another one.
Gorgeous Siren, from Ireland’s Max Academy, brings a high level of passion to any match we have seen her wrestle in. This one is no different. She is fiery, Zsuzsa is intense and soft spoken. These two beautiful women really go it hard. To purchase visit Antscha’s store.
WHEN LEGENDS COLLIDE
Read all about it.
Two industry legends grapple one another in an up close, slow burn, competitive match. We loved it. DWW alum Viktoria is crafty as ever and Inferno is exceptional at providing answers to any female wrestler’s attacks. This is a good one.

VACANT UFC WOMEN’S TITLE TO GET NEW CHAMPION
We will forever miss the legendary Amanda Nunes.
The UFC women’s bantamweight championship has been open since Amanda retired after defending her title against Irene Aldana at UFC 289 on June 10, 2023.
The highly sought after 135-pound belt will get a new title holder at UFC 297 when Mayra Bueno Silva meets Raquel Pennington on what is likely to be an ESPN+ streaming pay-per-view card.
UFC 297 takes place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on January 20, 2024, so mark your calendar.
PFL WOMEN – BIG NEWS
On November 8, 2023, as posted by mmanews.com, “Two-time PFL women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison’s upcoming fighting return just got a last-second switch-up.
Harrison was supposed to face former Bellator featherweight champion Julia Budd at the 2023 PFL Championship on November 24th. But, Budd has reportedly withdrawn from the matchup due to injury and the PFL already has a replacement lined up.”
Next up for Kayla?
The article continues, her opponent will be Nor Cal favorite, Aspen Ladd.
This promises to be an even more exciting match.
Aspen, a former UFC fighter, is now getting the opportunity she has been looking for. This should be a good one. Can Aspen pull of the major upset? Here in Nor Cal, we’ll be rooting for her.
WOMEN OF WRESTLING (WOW) LIVE TAPING
According to their Twitter, WOW – Women Of Wrestling will present December tapings! LIVE at The Belasco Theater in Los Angeles on December 11, 12, 13, and 14. Four (4) spectacular events starring the WOW Superheroes! See the high-flying action.
Should be a lot of fun.
At their home wowe.com, they share their vision, “Women’s role in sports and athletics has continued to grow exponentially over the last four decades. WOW Co-Owner and Co-Founder, Jeanie Buss is heavily influenced by Billie Jean King in how she mounted the changes she did in professional tennis which benefited not only the participants but also the fan base of tennis. That influence in combination with her love of comic book heroines, “Supergirl” and “Wonder Woman” inspired Jeanie Buss to get involved in women’s wrestling.”
Well said.
MASSIVE CROWD, MAYBE A WORLD RECORD, ATTEND IOWA HAWKEYE LED WOMEN’S WRESTLING EVENT
As posted by the informative news and information source desmoinesregister.com, “A crowd of 8,207 showed up for the Hawkeye women’s Carver-Hawkeye Arena debut, the Trailblazer Duals. That was a world record for a women’s wrestling event, according to a public address announcement at the arena.”
That is amazing but not surprising. We remember when FCI covered a women’s collegiate wrestling event in Rocklin, California and it was so crowded that we had to ride an event bus to the event because the parking lot was full. Once inside, the event was heavily sponsored and the large gymnasium styled event room was full.
Women’s wrestling continues to surge into the future.
The exceptional news team at National Public Radio (npr.org) adds, “One of the fasted growing college sports is women’s wrestling. There are about 150 women’s wrestling teams at colleges and universities in North America.”
That figure is spectacular.
We can remember when FCI first began publishing back in 2012, there were only 14 collegiate women’s wrestling programs. Now 150? We knew we were on to something but this level of growth defies virtually all expectations.
At this pace, think about the future.
There is a trend where, besides Iowa, the NCAA will have women’s wrestling programs at a majority of their schools and provide the scholarships to go with it. Success breeds success, so when girls in junior and senior high schools realize the financial opportunities available to pay for their college educations, we sense, in terms of growth, we haven’t seen anything yet.
At the official NCAA website, ncaa.org, they educate, “Women’s wrestling is on track to become the NCAA’s 91st NCAA championship, based on the latest sports sponsorship data released this month.
Women’s wrestling highlighted the six sports in the Emerging Sports for Women program, meeting the requirements to be considered for an NCAA championship. Specifically, more than 40 schools sponsored women’s wrestling at the varsity level and met the sport’s minimum competition and participant requirements in the 2022-23 academic year. The sport’s growth puts it on track to become the sixth sport to earn NCAA championship status through the Emerging Sports for Women program, joining rowing (1996), ice hockey (2000), water polo (2000), bowling (2003) and beach volleyball (2015).”
Wonderful.
Applause all around.
Okay friends that is all the news for now. We’ll see you again on December 1, 2023.
Take care.
