Newer Female Grapplers, When In Trouble, Pick The Lock, Fight The Problem

October 31, 2023,

She should have picked the lock.

Wouldn’t you agree?

If you are a newer female grappler, you should.

Why are you staring at that door with a dead bolt on it?

Not that lock.

The hold that has her locked up on the mats, like a headlock, behind the back body scissor, side body scissor, floor to sitting body scissor or a rear naked choke.

On the female grappling mats, when you get locked up, try to be there for the shortest period of time that you can.

By comparison, don’t stay locked in a wrestling hold too long. Your body weakens and you will be submitted.

Time to learn from one of today’s best.

There is a gorgeous female submission wrestler who is great at picking grappling locks and resisting being submitted for long periods of time and that is the super star Sativa of England.

We have reviewed thousands of videos and Sativa has to be one of the best at remaining under duress, without tapping out and then she eventually picks the lock and escapes.

In her most recent battle with the beautiful Hungarian muscle girl Dolly, the long haired brunette had Sativa locked up for seven minutes.

Yes, you read that right. Seven minutes.

Not only did Sativa pick the lock, she turned the tables on Dolly and submitted the Hungarian princess in slightly over a minute.

A sibling to picking the lock is “fighting the problem”.

As a female wrestler, when you get in trouble, fight the problem. Focus on it.

Sometimes that means focusing on the larger problem especially if you are trapped in a combination hold. Which hold do you attack first. Which problem do you solve? The headlock? Or the behind the back body scissor. The arm bar? Or the side body scissor?

To help you solve the problem you might find yourself in, simply put, you need strong hands, wrists and arms. What can help?

We’re encouraging you to get a grip.

On your opponent.

Their hands, wrists or arms. Possibly around the back of their neck.

It is what you will need to do when you open the match with hand fighting.

If you are a Newer Female Grappler, starting on your knees or standing up, your match will begin with hand fighting and gripping.

No way around that.

Come to grips with that.

How strong is your grip?

You can easily see what we are speaking of. Let’s try a beginner’s experiment.

Sit in a chair and with your left arm resting on your left thigh and knee, close your fist.

Tight.

Then open it.

Then close it.

Open and close. Slowly. Over and over again.

You can literally see what muscles you will be working if you purchase a Hand Gripper. Not only will you strengthen your grip, look at what the exercise is doing to your forearm as you grip.

Literally. You can see and feel it.

Time to discuss.

And purchase.

Grippers, sometimes called hand grippers, are primarily used for testing and increasing the strength of the hands.

This specific form of grip strength has been called crushing grip, which has been defined as meaning the prime movers are the four fingers, rather than the thumb.

There are differences from brand to brand, but the common features of standard grippers are that they use a torsion spring fitted with two handles.

The exact dimensions of these elements vary, as well as the materials used to make them; the springs are made from various types of steel, and the handles are generally made from wood, plastic, steel or aluminum.

It is imperative to build up your hands and wrists to help you pick that female wrestling lock or put some torque on fighting the problem.

Along with a strong grip, you will need strong arms.

We need some help. We like this video that focuses on helping women to build their arm strength. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9Z1_0nYzpQ

The instruction is easy to follow and looks very effective.

Let’s now walk over to the bookstore. We always love to confer with more than one source.

Well said. Very comprehensive.

So much of female grappling is philosophy as well as physical strength. It is extremely important to know which problem to attack or which lock to pick first.

By building up your hands, wrist and arm strength, you can become far more effective at picking that grappling lock or fighting the problem, and just like Sativa did Dolly, once free, have the ability to force your opponent to fight the problem you created or be submitted.
