Then make a case for your prediction.
Today, Hungary’s legendary Princess Nikki will take on the very ambitious Xena of Belgium.
As far as research goes, there is substantial data on both beautiful girls.
Nikki has easily been wrestling for over 10 years. She has tons of experience at events in England and Hungary. She is a fantasy girl with a sweet personality and sometimes that appears to get in the way of some serious wrestling.
FCI has communicated with Xena and she too has a wonderful personality.
She takes it a step further. A major step.
FCI has been publishing since 2012 and in that time, many women’s submission wrestling fans have written, with the indication they are serious about our great industry.
They are not. Why?
If you are serious, you have a website or video store. Virtually none of them did. That, in part, is why we have so many hoops to jump through on our communication page. And you know what?
Xena is serious.
She sells videos. We are impressed.
We have also reviewed some of her wrestling matches and while, compared to Nikki, she is shorter on experience, she certainly is high in enthusiasm.
We have had this video sitting in our library for a long time. One of the reasons we have not reviewed it is, since both girls have great personalities, we run the risk of starting a giggly goo girly match.
This time we’ll take the risk and hope to get a tough match from beginning to end.
Time to go mat side. Let’s hope for the best.
XENA VS NIKKI
There is anticipation in the air. If these two princesses decide to give it their all, this should be a good one.
They begin on their knees.
The two start with upper body struggle and both are slippery and can’t quite seem to make the upper body hold stick. Finally Nikki gets Xena down to the mats but she doesn’t have strong control and Xena wiggles out. Nikki appears to have upper body control.
Then she doesn’t.
They twirl, arms wrapped around one another, now Nikki pushes Xena against the wall and once again Xena escapes then she manages to flip Nikki over, with a loud thud, which even gets Antscha’s attention.
What will she do with it?
Not much.
Nikki fights her way out of the hold and is back on top of Xena, who then is back on top of Nikki.
Rolling, squirming, grunting but no securing.
They continue to roll around.
Xena comes in with a reverse over the top capture where she could clasp Nikki in a reverse head scissor but is unable to. Xena finally rolls on top of Nikki and goes for a half body smother. Nikki failed to secure a leg scissor to prevent a full mount and now the Hungarian legend is in trouble. Xena outweighs her, often an Achilles heel for Nikki. She is a smaller warrior and should stay out of certain holds because she just isn’t strong enough to break the hold of the heaver girl.
Like this one.
Antscha begins the pin count and Nikki is counted out at ten. Xena is finally on the board.
1-0 for Xena (2:22).
They begin the next round with more of the same upper body struggle, rolling around with no skillful holds. No MMA techniques appear to be applied so far. Up to this point there is a lot of grunting and girlie roll around with both girls trading the upper advantage. Finally Nikki gets a half smother, just like Xena did for the pin, but Xena is way to strong and rolls Nikki off. Finally Nikki captures a scissor and Xena soon escape that too.
This reminds us of two newer neighborhood girls who decided to give wrestling a try, using up a lot of energy but neither applying skilled holds. They continue to struggle. Nikki manages to get Xena beneath her with a half-body reverse smother, from the top. Antscha begins the count and the stronger Xena is able to escape. The problem now is that she rolls right into a head scissor by Nikki. Stronger or not, there are no muscles above Xena’s neck. Nikki begins to squeeze. With over ten years of fully competitive wrestling g experience, can she get a submission?
Not yet.
Xena applies a mutual body scissor, with Nikki on top, from the elongated position. Nikki escapes and, in reverse position, is now sitting on top of Xena. Can she do anything with this advantage?
Not yet.
She tries for a reverse smother but Xena is ready for that and, new girl living room style, the two shapely women begin rolling around. Nikki tries for another upper body scissor only this time she marries it to a right arm bar. One of the first MMA holds we have seen. Good move but tenuous. Xena responds by applying a mutual elongated body scissor. The holds are broken.
The girls start again from their knees.
They try upper hand fighting and body struggle.
There is lots of loud groaning and grunting on Xena’s part. Typically not a good sign. Often when that occurs, the women are staging things, trying to sound fully competitive. No one needs to grunt that loud. Hopefully that is not occurring here.
Nikki finally gets Xena down to the mats and performs a frontal pin. Xena is groaning loudly and is counted out at ten. Where did all of that muscle strength go this time?
1-1 (5:50).
They begin with upper body and hand struggle again. No one is gaining a clear advantage. Xena rolls Nikki into a folding pin, but like the unusual and frenetic pace of the match, it doesn’t hold up either. Finally Nikki does gain the advantage and Xena rolls her over, accidentally having the Princess bump into the wall. Antscha exclaims “Oh”.
Oh indeed.
They roll around and struggle some more, and finally Xena gains the upper hand. She beings with a side smother on Nikki as the pin count stars, and since Nikki does not scissor one of her legs, she turns it into a full mount. Through more loud grunts and groans, Nikki is counted out.
Xena leads 2-1 (8:30).
Time to begin.
Nikki gets the best of Xena and rolls her into a head scissor. Being the smaller girl, this is the most effective approach but this time, Nikki loosely holds on to it as Xena squirms around. Can Nikki tighten it up and seal the deal?
No she can’t. She has Xena in a loose headlock and finally Xena breaks free. The match ends.
Well, we don’t really know what to say about a roll-around and groan match like this one. Fully competitive? Didn’t appear that way.
Entertaining? Depends who you ask.
All said and done, like the audience, we appreciate that Xena and Nikki put on an energetic show.
