July 7, 2022,

Many say she is a Hot Mess.

That’s a compliment. Most of the time.

We like to keep things simple.

We say she’s Hot. Really Hot.

That is not a full description but it is a starting place.

Chelsea Green is Hot and so much more.

And don’t mess with her.

She’s won grand prize money for many wrestling promotions at the expense of others, names large and great.

Chelsea deserves it.

Watching her lets you know you are watching the consummate professional. She is an absolute lady pro wrestling diva. She’s got game. Curves of charisma.

She knows her stuff.

Chelsea is a Canadian professional wrestler, stuntwoman and model.

She’s currently signed with Impact Wrestling performing under her real name.

Chelsea has appeared extensively on the independent wrestling circuit in North America and Asia, as well as for the NWA, Ring of Honor, World Wonder Ring Stardom, WWE, and her first appearance in Impact Wrestling, where she performed under the ring name Laurel Van Ness and got to hold the Impact Knockouts Championship.

She’s a TV star too.

Chelsea also played Reklusa on the Lucha Underground TV series. A big time production.

Lucha Underground was an American professional wrestling promotion founded in 2014 by United Artists Media Group.

Partly owned by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), Lucha Underground also refers to its weekly television program, which featured characters portrayed by wrestlers from the American and Mexican independent circuits.

It premiered on October 29, 2014 and aired until November 7, 2018, consisting of four seasons for a total of 127 episodes.

Only the best for Chelsea.

Time for a walk down a well-lit memory lane under the brightest women wrestling lights.

Under the ring name Jaida, she wrestled on for Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW).

Her first match was on May 31, 2014, at ECCW Better Than You.

She next joined a Women’s title tournament, winning the first round against Kaitlin Diamond. On December 8, 2014, at the conclusion of the Women’s title tournament held at ECCW Payoff, she defeated Kate Carney in the semi-finals.

Very impressive.

In 2016, our luminary toured Japan twice for World Wonder Ring Stardom (WWRS).

Her first tour was three months long, but was cut short by a broken collarbone while wrestling in India.

Who said wrestling is fake? Well, scripted is a better description. With what these talented women do in the ring, a girl can get hurt. Sometimes badly.

Chelsea is one tough girl who survived the injury and continues to thrive.

Chelsea’s second tour of Japan was in late 2016, where she teamed with a big star in Santana Garrett.

Now she writes history.

In September of 2018, Chelsea performed on the All In pay-per-view show, the first independent wrestling event in the U.S. to draw a live attendance of at least 10,000 fans.

Chelsea wrestled top stars in Britt Baker, Madison Rayne, and Tessa Blanchard in a Four corner survival match.

Time for starring at another promotion.

On January 7, 2016, Chelsea made her TNA debut under the ring name “Chelsea,” losing to Jade. The following night on January 8, 2016, at TNA One Night Only: Live!, she wrestled in a number one contenders gauntlet battle royal match for the TNA Knockouts Championship, entering the ongoing match at number four.

Now to the big leagues.

Chelsea took part in WWE tryouts and was signed on August 3, 2018. She then made her SmackDown debut on the November 13, 2018 edition of the show.

At wwe.com they share, “Chelsea Green wasted no time proving she would be a forced to be reckoned in the NXT women’s division.

Dubbed as “the hottest free-agent signing” by agent Robert Stone, Green made her first appearance resonate by committing a ruthless post-match attack on Mia Yim and Kayden Carter, quickly turning heads.

The British Columbia native is a graduate of Lance Storm’s Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, where she learned to harness the athleticism that made her a standout in soccer, volleyball, basketball and track.”

Good to know.

On July 11, 2021, Chelsea made a surprise debut at Ring of Honor (ROH)’s Best in the World pay-per-view event.

Year by year; that is an incredible resume.

So, here is what other fans are saying about her. We love to read the opinions of the fans and inmates at cagematch.net

Here we go:

“I discovered her during Tough Enough and I think that she should have won. She was the better female talent in that contest, I am happy after knowing that she signed for TNA.”

We respect that thought. Here’s another.

“I think Green really hit a homerun in TNA with Laurel Van Ness. I liked the name & the character arc she took made sense & was an emotional ride. Now she’s getting ready to debut in NXT & I’m having doubts that the same magic will be bottled. The Hot Mess character worked in TNA because we say the evolution. But if they try the same thing in NXT, we won’t get the same story & the character just won’t really make sense. Also, just using her real name feels a little unremarkable. Time will tell.”

And another.

“Poor Chelsea Green has not had the best of luck, initially being rejected by WWE, then eventually getting signed, taking a long time to get on TV, then breaking her wrist in her first TV match, then coming back, getting a temporary spot on RAW, going back down to NXT, then getting called up, but put on hold for months, then finally getting on TV with SmackDown, but then breaking her wrist again in her first match there. She’s a very talented character wrestler, as demonstrated in Impact as Laurel Van Ness, but in the right situation, she can have a very good match, as demonstrated in Lucha Underground against Pentagon Jr.”

Well, it’s not always sunshine but Chelsea clearly knows how to bounce back.

What sold us on Chelsea are her wrestling matches on video. One of the aspects to her game is how she is in incredibly beautiful shape. Here are some that we loved.

She faces wrestling royalty in Charlotte Flair and you get to see Chelsea wrestling on the world’s greatest stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MycWD6Y8y4

Here she goes up against a member of another royal family in Tessa Blanchard, daughter of the legend and tough guy super star Tully Blanchard, one of the greatest scientific wrestlers of all time.

What we like in this video is how Tessa Blanchard has really perfected her game and her gorgeous tanned body is a work of art. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q434qoXW94c

You should check the video out. We love watching Lady Pro wrestlers at all levels but here, these are not only top entertainers with a brand, they are elite athletes as well.

Now for the interview. If you want to really get to know Chelsea Green in depth, this is one incredible interview. We learned that she and Britt Baker know one another very well and she speaks in depth about her experiences in the WWE and with the powerful Vince McMahon.

Seriously folks, you need to watch this interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa62yCDPkDs

Then, the cool down video with her and Britt Baker sitting on a lawn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOf2rdByA3Q

This has been a very nice venture into a realm of the consummate Lady Pro Wrestler in Chelsea Green.

We are often impressed, but rarely like this.

Hot Mess?

This luminary is simply HOT.
