We are not sure who is going to win. That moves the needle from intrigue to intriguing.
The Italian beauties Gaia vs Beatrice.
Gaia has a lot more experience. Mostly losing. But you still learn something even when you lose. Didn’t someone once say that you learn more from your failures than successes? Right? If that is the case, then Gaia has learned a lot.
Whatever Gaia has learned, today would be the ideal day to apply it.
Beatrice on the other hand appears to be newer to the game. We have seen her wrestle newer Italian girls, mostly with success, and now she will take on a veteran who has participated in events.
Based upon Gaia’s experience, she should win but her advantage is razor thin.
Let’s go ringside.
GAIA VS BEATRICE
The two girls begin on their knees and engage with hand fighting. Beatrice gets the best of it, traps Gaia in a right armed headlock and takes her down.
Gaia struggles, but not for long, and quickly taps out.
Well, we didn’t see that coming.
1-0 for Beatrice (1:18).
When we reviewed Gaia vs Iron, Kiniku and Zsuzsa, she lost all three but not in lightning fashion.
Is this going to turn into a rout already?
They engage from their knees with head and shoulder Greco styled struggle. Gaia pulls Beatrice forward into a floor to sitting body scissor and eventually adds a Guillotine Choke for good measure. Beatrice struggles to escape. This lasts for close to a minute and as Gaia tightens the hold, Beatrice taps out.
1-1 (2:28).
Time to engage.
Beatrice is quick to clasp Gaia in a left armed headlock. Gaia seems very vulnerable to this move. Beatrice moves her into the corner, squeezes hard and the beautiful feminine shapely Gaia gently taps out.
Intriguing.
Newer Beatrice leads 2-1 (3:05).
Time to start.
Gaia is the aggressor this time and is wise enough to go back to what works. She comes over the top and once again traps Beatrice in a form of a Guillotine Choke. Beatrice resists long enough to force Gaia to let go of the hold, but keep the top position. This grappling positioning goes on for some time. Beatrice covers up, almost in the turtle position and Gaia rolls her and sits on her stomach, contemplating her next move.
Beatrice struggles to turn and now Gaia rides atop her from behind and in control. They continue to struggle and now, from behind, Gaia has Beatrice trapped in a tight scissor. Beatrice grimaces in anguish but, for the moment, is surviving. While has grasped Beatrice’s wrists, if she could master an additional submission hold, like a choke, to marry with the scissor, Beatrice would most likely tap out.
Beatrice is fighting back by trying to part Gaia’s hands and while she can’t, at least she forestalls the inevitable choke. Gaia gives up on the choke and rolls Beatrice to her left side and keeps her trapped in a hold choke. Beatrice continues to resist. Beatrice gets to her knees and Gaia rides her from the top and from behind.
For the moment Beatrice survives.
Gaia now sit atop her, takes a breather and contemplates her next move. Beatrice is lying flat on her back, knees raised and arms ready to fence of Gaia’s next attack. As they continue to struggle, Gaia pulls Beatrice back against the wall. Beatrice uses her athletic arms to entangle Gaia and keep her against the wall. The struggle continues as both girls present faces of anguish. Beatrice is on top but trapped in Gaia’s powerful scissors.
Who is going to emerge and take control of this match?
Apparently Beatrice.
From the top position Beatrice fences her arms together and mashes them down on Gaia’s throat. Great move. Gaia grimaces and is not going to escape this one. Beatrice has the top position and the leverage.
Gaia taps out.
3-1 for Beatrice (9:58).
They come back to the center. On their knees. Beatrice is looking very confident and intently into Gaia’s eyes. Apparently is a warm day as beautiful shapely Gaia is glistening with sweat.
Time to begin.
Beatrice confidently uses her right arm to capture Gaia in a headlock and forcefully takes her down. Gaia is locked up again and appears somewhat surprised. The gorgeous Italian star lies in anguish. Beatrice wastes no time in rolling her body on top of Gaia’s neck, tightens up that brutal headlock and feminine Gaia passively taps out.
Beatrice leads 4-1 (10:39).
Time to engage.
Beatrice looks confident again. They begin to engage in upper body struggle. Beatrice now appears to be the stronger of the two and easily brushes Gaia off. Beatrice begins to open up the playbook. She leaps and traps Gaia in a floor to sitting body scissor, falls backward and squeezes. Without much resistant, Gaia taps out. We have to admit, we knew Beatrice had a chance, but we didn’t expect this.
5-1 to Beatrice.
The fight starts again.
This time Gaia shows some initiative, grabs Beatrice’s wrists and yanks her down to the mats. She then mounts Beatrice and tries to control the athletic brunette’s upper body. Beatrice struggles underneath. Beatrice twirls and struggles to get to her knees while Gaia continues to ride her. Gaia flattens Beatrice out on her stomach in the elongated position. The more experienced wrestler is in a position of strength. Finally. What will she do with it?
Gaia applies a rear naked choke.
She is in a great position from the top and as she squeezes, Beatrice is tightly locked up. We don’t see her escaping this one and she doesn’t. As Gaia tightens the choke, Beatrice taps out. Well, good to see Gaia didn’t just completely roll over and be dominated.
Gaia closes the gap at 2-5 (13:40).
Time to start.
After the initial hand fighting, Beatrice pulls Gaia downward and comes over the top of her back, attempting a reverse scissor. Gaia braces her arms and fists in between to prevent a full scissor. Beatrice succeeds in bending Gaia downward and applies a choke. With great technique she forces Gaia to tap out.
The match ends.
Beatrice wins handily 6-2.
While we wouldn’t say that we are shocked but we thought, due to her extensive experience, Gaia would do better. So much for that. Today is Beatrice day in the sun.
And she shined brightly.
