Though her name may not be a household word to some, she is still very special.
Athletic, blonde and gorgeous.
To appreciate Yana getting ready to battle Warrior Amazon, we had to purchase from Antscha’s clips store and watch her completely decimate, the at times, formidable Kimbra of Hungary.
Here, “at times” are the operative words, because once we purchased a substantial inventory from Antscha’s store, we were surprised how massively we over estimated Kimbra and how she got whipped in other venues with wrestlers we expected her to defeat, like Jade at Wrestling Monica.
Instead, the beautiful journey woman Jade completely woman handled Kimbra and thoroughly dominated her. Not an ounce of DWW star dust in sight.
So, Yana gave Kimbra a good spanking, and while that alone doesn’t elevate her to an elite level, it did raise a question?
Has good is Russia’s Yana, really?
We’ll get a chance to find out against Warrior Amazon, who today, is absolutely one of the elite in our global industry.
Warrior Amazon’s days of cutting her teeth at the great Femwrestle Events are long gone. She has matured. Evolved.
Mightily.
YANA VS WARRIOR AMAZON
As the match begins, Antscha serving as referee initially cautions them not to hurt one another.
Good advice.
Warrior Amazon is a little thicker, Yana appears to be a little taller so size differences appear to be irrelevant.
As the two engage, Yana begins giggling and talking, just a little, but that alone lends us to speculate.
As they would say in a James Bond film, it’s a “tell”.
There is another puzzling aspect to Yana’s attire. While we completely understand the knee supports, why the ankle leggings? They appear to be decorative in nature.
Warrior Amazon is not wearing anything decorative in nature.
So, based upon our dime store psychology, now we are going to make a prediction without even watching the video. Ready?
Yana is going to lose.
Respectfully speaking, this ain’t Kimbra.
Let’s see if we’re right.
The two formidable girls begin by encircling one another with a clinch.
Warrior wins the joust, traps Yana in a headlock and takes her down. The German warrior now mounts a bent over Yana from the head and spins around and mounts her from the back, placing her in a perfect position for a rear naked choke.
Warrior continues to control the action, tossing Yana around into a potential side body scissors. Yana escapes that. A rear naked choke. Yana escapes that. Flattening out Yana on her stomach, full body for a potential choke. Yana escapes that. Maneuvering Yana into a potential lethal arm bar.
Yana escapes that too.
Interesting.
Yana is on the defensive but she is constantly escaping and Warrior, with all of her advantages, is not remotely closing the deal.
Finally Warrior is on top of her and twisting her arm, just like in the school yard.
There is no escaping but Yana does delay it. Peering in, Antscha asks Yana if she is okay.
Finally at over the 4 minute mark, Yana taps out.
1-0 for Warrior Amazon.
After that tussle, the two girls need to rest. At the five minute mark they begin again.
Warrior is in complete control and Yana is on the defensive.
Again.
This time Warrior is going to close the deal a lot quicker.
She traps Yana from behind and is applying a body scissors and fighting for a choke. Once she places her beautiful thick legs and body on top of Yana, it’s over and Yana taps out.
2-0 for the Warrior.
Look, no more predictions but we’re smelling a blowout.
Warrior is now completely controlling the statuesque porcelain blonde. It is domination time and Warrior is happy to do it. She first begins by encasing Yana from behind in a partial body scissors and soon rolls her into a dreaded arm bar.
Antscha asks Yana if she is okay.
She is barely. We don’t speak Russian but we can translate pretty well here.
Yana taps out at about the 7 minute mark.
3-0 for Warrior Amazon.
It’s getting late, early.
In round four Yana is now the aggressor. To our surprise she manages to forward mount Warrior while the German maiden is on her back.
That doesn’t last long as Warrior breaks the hold.
Once again, Warrior is in control with a side headlock. Her ability to quickly spin around over Yana is amazing. Warrior is a gorgeous specimen of a female athlete and now she is sitting on Yana’s head while she is face down and flattened out.
From this position, Warrior has endless options of what she chooses to do next.
At first it appears she will try a sitting triangle choke with her legs but changes her mind and moves in for another brutal arm bar. This could be curtains but to our complete surprise, Yana not only breaks the hold, she now mounts Warrior and has the German girl in trouble.
That is all well and good for Yana but we wonder if she has a plan. It is as though we can literally watch her contemplate what to do next, without being confident regarding her next move.
Yana remains on top of her but it is very clear Warrior is not going to yield.
Yana is running out of time and though still in control, Warrior is challenging that station to take control herself and now Yana appears to be desperate to maintain the hold.
She is on the bottom but has Warrior trapped in a potential submitting choke.
Not to be.
Warrior breaks the hold and is now coming in for the kill.
She flattens the European blonde out and is on top of her. She pulls another spinning move and now underneath, Yana is on a sinking ship.
Warrior applies a brutal choke, Yana painfully coughs and taps out.
Warrior leads 4-0.
In the final round the girls are fighting from their knees with incredible energy, a little surprising but greatly admirable given how much fire power they have previously expended.
Things get a little predictable.
Warrior gains control and submits Yana with a choke.
The match is over. Warrior wins 5-0.
SUMMARY
We had not seen Yana wrestle before she completely dominated Kimbra.
Her thorough decimation of Kimbra, a DWW alum, was very impressive.
From a research stand point, it was good to watch Yana wrestle one of the elite of 2022.
The match was a good measuring stick.
Kudos to Yana, she is a very good wrestler. If she quietly desired to evolve into an elite fully competitive female submission wrestler, after this battle in Hungary, she now has a better idea of what she needs to do.
