July 1, 2024,

All eyes are on Hungary’s “It Chick” Zara.

Who can be “Chic” as well.

If a girl wears the Buzz Cut style, she is in good company. Hollywood territory.

It is a style that has been graced by Demi Moore, Kristen Stewart, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron, to name a few.

When we first saw Hungary’s Zara, a stealth feminine warrior with a semi-buzz cut, we asked ourselves, is Zara trying to make a statement?

Sometimes the world’s female luminaries are indeed trying to make a statement.

As shared by nylon.com, “This year, the buzz cut is being reclaimed by fashion’s it-girls, making it the official cool-girl hairstyle of summer 2021. One such celebrity is Gen Z model Iris Law, who told British Vogue shaving her hair off “changed her life.”

Interesting. Life changing.

Seems a little over the top but we will admit, with Zara, it did get our attention and make her stand out.

Not a lot of Buzz Cuts in the female submission wrestling industry.

The operative word here is wrestling and we wondered how Zara was performing in that regard.

She joined her Twitter account in December of 2019, so it appears she is newer to the wrestling scene.

Zara is a gorgeous girl off the mats and a solid one on the mats. She can defeat newer girls and mildly skilled girls like Italy’s Xena Wild but she steadily loses to the upper mid-level wrestlers. Too, this is an older match and we have not seen Zara for some time.

Having said that, any time we get a chance to review one of Zara’s matches, we are happy to do so.

Iron, on the other hand is more of a known commodity.

We would say she has more experience than Zara and more victories as well. Against newer and entry mid-level wrestlers. Against the elite, Iron tends to falter.

There you have it.

We expect Iron to be the favorite hear but since she has an inconsistent record at the mid-level range, we feel Zara has a chance.

Time to find out.

ZARA VS IRON

The two warriors begin on their knees.

Iron wastes no time in taking Zara down to the mats with a right armed headlock. To our surprise, Zara is giggling and, at least thus far, doesn’t appear to be taking this match seriously.

The Hungarian iron girl immediately goes for the pin and the count reaches four before Zara can get her shoulder up. Iron continues to press the smother pin issue while Zara has found herself on the defensive.

They struggle.

Zara finally escapes.

She then begins to playfully hop around and accidentally knees Iron in the mouth.

Ouch!

Zara? Please get serious.

They are back on their knees in hand and wrist struggle. Iron puts her back into it and uses her muscle to push Zara backwards and on to her back. The pin counts begin again. Zara barely escapes twice but is finally counted out.

1-0 for Iron (2:42).

Question?

Will Zara take this match more seriously now?

We’ll see.

Gorgeous youthful Zara has a more serious look on her face. It appears that she feel Antscha was a little generous on the pin count and her shoulders were not completely down.

Oh well.

As they engage, Zara makes the mistake of lowering her head and Iron is quick to make her pay for that. The muscle girl flattens Zara out on the mats once again and goes for the pin. Zara is in trouble once more. It is very hard to win a match when you are always flat on your back. The pin counts start in rapid fire and the struggling Zara manages to get her shoulders up time after time. Finally she does break the hold but rolls right into a side body scissor, Iron crushes with her strong legs and it is Goodnight Irene.

Zara taps out.

No questioning that submission.

Iron leads 2-0 (4:12).

Zara looks a little stunned but still is in the match.

As they engage, first with wrist and hand fighting, Iron surprises the brunette with a left armed headlock and takes Zara down. Once again, Zara is on the defensive. They struggle and Iron attempts a floor to sitting body scissor then pushes Zara backwards to try a full body smother. Zara escapes at the six count.

She has to be tiring.

They struggle some more and this time Iron takes her down with a right armed headlock. They roll around until Iron secures the top position again pressing the action with smothers which Zara slowly escapes twice but appears to be wearing down.

Zara is flattened out as Iron rides her from behind. From behind her back, the stronger wrestler now pulls Zara into a body scissor and squeezes. Zara grimaces and screams but doesn’t tap out. Iron keeps applying the pressure but Zara escapes.

Iron keeps the pressure on.

She almost pins Zara twice with elongated smothers but Zara escapes and for the first time, turns the tables on Iron and captures the muscle girl from the top position. The gorgeous brunette has been on the defensive all match. What will she do with this advantage?

She grabs Iron’s wrists, scrunches them by her face, leans forward and begins to smother Iron out. The stylish brunette makes good on it and counts Iron out.

Zara is finally on the board.

Iron leads 2-1 (8:33).

Zara is gaining in confidence.

As they resume, she traps Iron in a floor to sitting body scissor pressing Iron to scream loudly as she tries to break the hold. She finally does and leaps on top of Zara.

Iron is now back in control. Zara had her shot.

She begins to squeeze Zara from behind and strengthens her scissor. Zara is in obvious pain and grimaces loudly. Still, she continues to survive as Iron is content to maneuver her from the top position.

Iron goes for an elongated smother and then school girl pins Zara for good measure. The count gets to 9 and Zara kicks out.

Iron remains on top and is content to keep Zara pressed down. No rush, time is on her side.

The match is over.

Iron wins 2-1 in a match that was not as close as the score indicated but Iron is happy to secure the victory.
