She was extremely young yet we knew she would grow up to be very special.
Her acting in the hit television series Mad Men was incredible.
Well, Kiernan Shipka has grown up wonderfully.
Have you visually kept in touch? Maybe?
Let’s go back in time first.
For those of us who are older, there was something about Mad Men that provided a ground swell mix of emotions. The show reflected a more stable and prosperous time. When all of the societal arrows appeared to be pointing up.
And it truly was. Some of us were there.
Some basics.
Mad Men is an American period drama television series created by Matthew Weiner and produced by Lionsgate Television. It ran on cable network AMC from July 19, 2007, to May 17, 2015, with seven seasons and 92 episodes.
Long running and impressive.
It is set during the period of March 1960 to November 1970.
Mad Men begins at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, New York City.
The series main character is the extremely handsome and charismatic advertising executive Don Draper, aka Kiernan’s character’s father.
During the penetrating show, she was definitely Daddy’s girl. She worshipped him. And he, her.
She was also very precocious and wise beyond her years. She had to be.
It isn’t easy being the daughter to a man most women craved to be with. Especially a father filled with wanderlust, with great emphasis on lust.
If you ever want a glimpse and some insight into one of the most regal and fascinating subcultures in American history, this show is a must for you.
In part, because of the way Kiernan, often sadly, drew you in.

Time for a meet and greet with Kiernan.
Kiernan is an American actress, best known for her roles as Sally Draper in the above AMC drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), and Sabrina Spellman in the Netflix fantasy series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018–2020) and the sixth season of The CW series Riverdale (2021–2022).
She has also made a statement on film.
She has starred in several films, including Carriers (2009), Flowers in the Attic (2014), The Blackcoat’s Daughter (2015), The Silence (2019), Wildflower (2022), and Totally Killer (2023). Totally Killer was a very unique concept.

Totally Killer is a 2023 American slasher comedy film directed by Nahnatchka Khan.
The story follows Jamie (Shipka) who, after her mother is murdered by the same Sweet 16 Killer who went on a murder spree 35 years earlier, travels back in time to 1987, where she pairs up with her mother to catch the killer during his original spree and return to her timeline before she is trapped in the past forever.
Not completely unique but a nice twist and Kiernan really makes it come to life.
In her upcoming project, she plays a woman who must infiltrate a commune she had escaped from in order to rescue her captive sister. Sounds intriguing. Frightening even. We can’t wait for that one.
The future in movies looks bright.

Holidays Made Here Transports Visitors to “Gilmore Girls” Stars Hollow

Studio Tour Hollywood is excited to announce the return of Holidays Made Here from December 18, 2024, through January 5, 2025 (closed December 25). Scott Patterson, known for his role as Luke Danes in the beloved series Gilmore Girls, announced on his podcast “I’m All In” that Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood will once again transform the iconic Midwest Street backlot into the beloved town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut, festively decorated for the holidays.
Guests can sip on hot coffee while enjoying Pop-Tarts® and other delectable treats for purchase throughout Stars Hollow, all while walking in the familiar footsteps of Lorelai, Rory, Luke, and Sookie. Visitors will explore the original Gilmore Girls sets and get up close to authentic props and costumes. Not to be missed in 2024, Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee will be served in Luke’s Diner, along with treats like popcorn and pastries. Many photo opportunities will be available, including in front of the iconic gazebo, the official Stars Hollow town sign, Luke’s Diner, Lorelai’s house, Mrs. Kim’s Antiques, the Bjork Snowman, and Doose’s Market. The holiday event will also feature engaging activities, including Gilmore Girls trivia, costume contests, cookie decorating, and exhibits showcasing authentic costumes and props from the series.
