If there was ever a highly effective female grappler, who could protect and serve or transform into one of the most lethal assassins, it was the Czech Republic’s legendary Luzia.
What she accomplished was so incredible that her memory and substantial victories much be remembered, throughout time, as long as there is a female submission wrestling media to cover it.

We first saw her wrestling in her teens and, given her talent and incredible beauty, it was obvious from the start she was, and would become, one of the most unique stars in the DWW stable.
Here were some early reviews of this gorgeous blonde knight, of light.
“Luzia is a real female athlete and of course she already had a long history of being one of the best and strongest wrestlers of her time. At this time Renata B. was nearly a beginner and although she was pretty inexperienced in this match, one could easily see that she was a powerful lady and that she had some potential as a fighting girl. She was older than Luzia and she was as blonde as her. However, the experience and the muscle strength were quite obviously at Luzia’s advantage.”
Formidable Luzia made short work of and completely dominated Renata.
Against Jana.
“Luzia absolutely owns Jana in this match. Without even working up a sweat she destroys her by squeezing her between her powerful thighs or putting her in a headlock and cutting off her air supply. In fact, Jana gets brutalized in this match. To her credit she does manage to deflect quite a number of Luzia’s attempted scissor holds, but she can’t deflect all of them. Caught between Luzia’s legs, she just get crushed.”
Against the legendary Kriszta.
“There is no one I would like to watch in action more than Luzia. To me Luzia was and is the queen of DWW wrestling…and this match was one of her beginning matches. Truly if you watch this match you will see power (strength) and determination display throughout this match. I thought Kriszta showed a lot of heart and skills in taking on one of the best ever at DWW in Luzia.”
Taking on one of the best. Of the highest order.
What triggered our memory of Luzia, again?
A movie about knights of the highest order and some of the best assassins.
Assassin’s Creed is a 2016 dystopian science fiction action film based on the video game franchise of the same name.
The film is set in the same universe as the video games but features an original story that expands the series’ mythology. The plot revolves around Callum “Cal” Lynch, who is abducted by the Abstergo Foundation because of his heritage.
Cal’s ancestor, Aguilar de Nerha, was a member of the Assassin Brotherhood, a powerful fictional organization inspired by the real-life Order of Assassins, active during the Spanish Inquisition in the late 15th-century.
On November 9, 2021, here is what FCI Women’s Magazine had to say about the gorgeous blonde Czech warrior, “Competition stellar in performance, though at times excruciating, can refine and enhance you to be more formidable for your next opponent.
Simply put, you need to be pushed to the limit.
DWW Czech super star Luzia so often found that out while she temporarily endured pain and suffering but eventually, further battle tested, it would later yield her grand results.”

Time to walk back down Memory Lane and Hallowed Highway.
The date was July 1, 2009.
“This would be one of the first glimpses of a true worthy champion in the making. Luzia had many matches at this first live event for Luzia. Every one of her opponents at this event were very competitive and tough for her. Luzia went against some of the very best at DWW from Hana to Dagmar to Melanie to Barbara to Antonia as well as the very big and strong Petra in a school girl pin match.”
When you are going to take on and defeat some of the best female wrestlers in female submission wrestling history, comparisons to prolific warriors from times past are inevitable.
The Knights Templar was a military order of the Catholic faith, and one of the wealthiest and most popular military orders in Western Christianity. They were founded circa 1119, headquartered on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and existed for nearly two centuries during the Middle Ages.
The Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades.
Imagine that, if you can.
An order of knights that existed for two centuries.
Luzia’s legend continues.
At least, for now, for decades.
On November 6, 2010, a different reviewer scribed, “Antonia and Luzia have had some great battles over the years. While this match may have not been as competitive as some in the past, it’s always fun to watch these two go at it.
Luzia seemed to get stronger and stronger every year, and made it tougher for girls who used to give her a harder fight. That doesn’t mean Antonia didn’t have her moments in the match, and she made Luzia fight very hard to escape her deadly scissors. But Luzia, however, is once again the star of the show. She was in her usual great shape, and that usually spells trouble for her opponents.”
Time and time again.
Like a movie. That played to the same theme over and over again.
Luzia winning in battle.
Industries, organizations and civilizations need their knights. Peace is virtually always fragile. There needs to be someone heroic to defend it. Secure it. Protect it.
Like an assassin.
