DWW Legend Simona, Videos Still Worth Watching, A Highlight Reel 2,400 Words

It is hard to place this beauty in a pre-notion box because she had a varied and unpredictable wrestling experience. Just as you might consider her an easy victory, she surprises you with an upset. Certain gorgeous DWW wrestling stars, like Luzia The Great, had her number.

But Simona had other wrestler’s number too.

And she really dialed them up.

Time for some basics.

Let’s go down memory lane and see what FCI, through our magazines, had to say about her.

On September of 2014, “DWW’s Simona like a movie actress who finds herself struggling to escape seemingly hopeless situations always commands our attention, arouses our senses and extracts a quiet, unsigned agreement to root for her.

If you could entice Simona to sit still for only a moment for a brief interview, I suggest that you offer to buy her a highly recommended steak dinner where the moist main course melts in your mouth. She might agree since steak is one of her favorite meals.”

Good to know.

We will keep that in mind.

Let’s move up the timeline.

Here is one from May 2018, “Staying relevant with the new guard while only most of the old guard remember you combative exploits is what faced the shapely Simona as her DWW career matured and she had to face the new guard of DWW warriors.

“Existence is no more than the precarious attainment of relevance in an intensely mobile flux of past, present, and future.”… Susan Sontag

In her battles with Nina and Dani Simona would have to prove she was still relevant and a female submission wrestler to be respected and feared.”

Okay, well said.

Time to look at some excerpts from the highlight reel.

Simona is 28, Nina 27, filmed in 2007

This promises to be a fascinating and sensuous battle. Who will win between this two? It is hard to tell. As we review Simona’s matches anew, after years of absence, we find that our memories of her abilities might be false ones based upon her getting dominated by the DWW elite like Luzia.

Once we began to review her matches against other opponents, our estimation of her abilities has increased.

Simona is actually a very good wrestler and seemed to have improved over time, thus her match against the journey fighter Nina could go either way.

Here is what Femcompetitor Magazine had to say in their review of Nina’s matches. “Nina was at her best was when she wrestled Tessa and Jenny. If only her resume was built upon wrestling them. She loved the body scissors and applied it with ruthless magnitude. She had other combat strengths as well.”

More match analysis would be helpful.

Here is what a DWW Reviewer expressed about our blonde beauty. “Nina had always been a very strong woman but she did have a lack of skills and speed and aggression before. Nowadays, however, Nina is a great fighter who learnt some techniques and skills and she’s getting better and better. Nina’s wrestling potential is enormous and she could become one of the best wrestlers if she stays so competitive, simply because she is a physically very strong woman.”

The pre-match excitement between Nina and Simona is building.

The pristine white walls contrasted by the light blue mats almost provides the room with an elegant dream sequence feel.

As the girls warm up in full bathing suits, Nina looks blonde stunning in blue while Simona looks feminine shapely gorgeous in black and yellow.

As the match begins, the two girls approach one another cautiously. Simona appears to be the more aggressive of the two, immediately head hunts the statuesque slender blonde and takes Nina down to the mats.

There is a struggle but with Nina fighting from a position of weakness from the bottom but Simona is relentless, fiercely grabbing Nina’s wrists and positions herself in the position of a cross body pin.

Nina is not powerful or muscular in the shoulders and this proves to be a major weakness as the shapely Simona counts her out in a 20 pin count.

Interestingly, after the count is over, Nina just lays there for easily a minute as though she might be injured.

The next round begins as the first with Simona being the relentless aggressor. She quickly has Nina down to the mats once again, positions herself on top of her, this time in a full body press and begins to count.

The counting doesn’t last long as an exasperated Nina quickly and profusely taps out.

Once again she lays there as though injured. Simona sincerely tries to console her.

We’re only at the three minute mark of a seemingly scheduled 20 minute match and this could get ugly. It seems to be getting late very early.

Round three begins.

Once again Simona head hunts and forcefully brings Nina down to the mats. The cross body pin is the method of choice. She begins to count and as we receive a view of Nina’s sweetly divine long legs, the blonde princess offers very little resistance.

Simona counts her out at twenty again and then does something a little perplexing.

After Nina is counted out, Simona just lays there on top of her for easily another minute without any protest form Nina.

It’s a very erotic moment.

As round four starts, Simona has the blonde down quickly again, applies a full body pin and grapevine and Nina decides not to endure the misery and taps out.

At the 6:45 mark (ideal for a photo) Nina just sits there for some time to recover. Is she injured or exhausted? It’s hard to tell.

They begin again.

This time Nina puts up a better fight once down on the mats. It appears Simona is ready to count her out again but it is Nina who now traps Simona in a body scissors, but can she keep the hold?

She can’t.

Simona gains control and submits her once more.

Please don’t give up Nina. We are rooting for you.

We’re getting close to the halfway mark and in this stanza Simona completely dominates Nina, flattens her out and grapevines her to the erotic count of twenty.

Nina offers little resistance.

After being submitted, she submissively allows Simona to lay on top of her again.

Nina would be a nice test for Simona. Femcompetitor Magazine loved Nina and wrote about her.

Femcompetitor Magazine was mesmerized by Dani and it showed.

DWW’s Dani, A Late Bloomer Who Blossomed Early

As this indoor match begins what is striking is how much taller and stronger looking Dani is than shapely Simona. This appears to be a transition period in DWW history as Simona of the old guard meets Dani of the new one.

The two tangle intensely as Dani takes Simona down to the ground. They struggle around for quite some time and though Dani has the upper hand she is still struggling for control. It is her strength that seems to get her there.

Simona leg locks Dani which salvages her from getting crushed from behind. Still, Dani is slowly gaining control from behind. This goes on for minutes until Simona’s determination and skills kick in and at the seven minute and 24 second mark, now it is Simona trying to close with a body scissors.

She can’t.

Dani is too strong and she turns the tables and now has the possibility of a school girl pin. Simona struggles and breaks the pin count several times in erotic posturing. Dani is determined and stays on top. This goes on for quite some time but at the nine minute and 40 second mark, Dani’s persistence pays off and she submits Simona with a pin count of ten.

The two beauties lie down for a second to take a breath. After wrestling for nine minutes to achieve the first pin, they deserve it.

Once the action commences again Dani seems confident and quickly gains the upper hand. She clasps Simona from behind and begins to orchestrate a body scissors. The orchestra’s music is beautiful as she submits Simona.

The question now is whether the new guard is about to route the historical one.

Simona is not remotely giving up. The third round starts with Dani posturing for a sweep but Simona has another idea and takes Dani down and quickly traps her in an upper body scissors. The combination of an arm lock and upper scissor lock does the trick.

Dani submits and Simona is back in business.

Now the intensity level is increasing and the battle is swinging towards Simona who is controlling the action. She attempts the upper body scissor and arm lock hold again but Dani is too strong. As the engagement continues Simona directs the action to the corner where she lands on top and begins to successfully smother Dani out.

The fight is now tied at 2-2.

As the two stand circling each other, Dani is breathing heavily and is clearly tired. This should play into Simona’s hands.

Simona quickly takes Dani down to the mats. She’s is totally in control and goes for the smother once again. Dani struggles and Simona quickly traps her in a side body scissors. Dani is flattened out, in pain and submits.

Simona emerges victorious.

Afterwards super star Antscha raises Simona’s arms in victory and our short haired beauty flexes her muscle.

Down 0-2, it was a sensational come from behind victory.

The old guard is apparently still a formidable one and absolutely still relevant.

Good memories can fill our quiet thoughts with some of the best moments of our life.

Sometimes however a bad memory and amnesia are the best weapons to use when facing an opponent who has gained a reputation as a winner and a fighter.

Your reputation is not quite the same.

By virtue of her accomplishments at the 1999 DWW Convention in California when she battled the DWW super star Ingrid in a great fight, Iva was quickly gaining a reputation as a top emerging DWW fighter.

Simona had not. At least not yet.

Still, when Simona twice faced Iva, she needed to forget about Iva’s accomplishments and focus on the present.

We’ve noted in our research on Simona that she has great difficulty with the broader shouldered girls who possess strong upper body strength.

This could work in her favor against the talented but slender Iva.

Fortunately we don’t have to rely upon our memory when analyzing the battles between these two beauties because we would have picked Iva in a lopsided victory.

That would have been a mistake.

1999 is a long way away from 2003.

It’s time for a reality check as Simona battles the DWW Convention star in a war between two short haired gorgeous girls.

Thankfully we actually have video footage of some past events and we don’t have to rely upon our memories.

In our minds, given how Luzia and the top DWW fighters dominated the beautiful, shapely Simona with the short mane, we would have thought that Iva would completely dominate her, especially given Iva’s performance at the women’s wrestling conventions in the United States against the star DWW Fighter Ingrid.

When she wrestled Antonia, one DWW reviewer clearly agreed. He stated, “Iva was one of the best wrestlers during that time and it was quite interesting to watch them wrestling in this pins and submissions match from the “old time”.”

The match between Iva and Simona would take place in the indoor room with the bamboo style walls. What is most striking is how the audience is laughing together and clearly having a good time before the match even begins. It reminds us of a quaint social. For those who were there, what memories.

As the match begins, Simona quickly has Iva down on the mats and is controlling the action while an exasperated Iva tugs at Simona’s hair, which is not the greatest idea since Simona sports an incredibly short hair style and decides to make Iva pay for that and submits her at approximately the two minute mark with a brutal behind the back body scissors.

Iva appears stunned.

As the next round begins, Simona keeps Iva on the defensive and on her back.

For a moment Iva has an exceptional opportunity to apply a front body scissors but let’s Simona escape. When Simona’s turn comes to apply her frontal body scissors she makes the most of it, crunches Iva in brutal fashion who screams at the top of her voice for Simona to stop.

Will this turn into a runaway?

The third round starts with the beauties on their knees hand fighting. Perhaps this change in tactics might prove to be a better strategy for Iva.

Unfortunately it doesn’t.

Simona is on top of Iva once more and applying the pressure.

Now she pulls on Iva’s hair and at the nine minute mark comes in for the kill. Iva howls once again as she is submitted with a body scissors.

The final round becomes fairly predictable.

It’s a good thing that the audience is having a great time bantering with one another. Simona once again controls the action and the tendency for more hair pulling grows since it seems to be so effective. She captures Iva from behind and fiercely pulls her hair and Iva quickly submits.

Simona flexes her muscles with pride as she subdues the slender blonde 4-0.

This is why you live life. This absolutely why you play the games.

It is full of surprises.
