May 13, 2024,

Highlight reel time.

Hungary’s Kimbra, of DWW fame, has plenty of those.

Wrestling for well over a decade with various companies, DWW-HWW Legend Kimbra has been a solid mid-level wrestler for some time. She loses to the elite, like Sheena, Sativa, Warrior Amazon and Iron of Russia, but she is very competitive with journey female wrestlers and defeats newer to lower skilled wrestlers.

Here is what others have said.

First, from FCI back in November of 2014, “A skilled application of wrestling holds, exceptional perseverance, mental toughness and a keen sense of how to close out a submission move is the hallmark qualities of a competitor who has been trained in the elite DWW women’s wrestling program.

Being trained in the DWW program is like participating in the SEC in college football, Tennessee and UConn in women’s collegiate basketball or Oklahoma, Brock, Simon Fraser and King University in women’s collegiate freestyle wrestling. When you can excel in their programs, you can perform at an elite level anywhere else.

Kimbra is one of the newer generations of DWW graduates and regarding her tough wrestling style, praise is coming in from all over the globe and more importantly outside of the local tribe.”

This is what one of the industry leaders, London Wrestling Studios had to say about our DWW gladiator. “As far as we know, this is KIMBRA’s first trip to the UK!  You may also know KIMBRA as Roxy – she has starred in many European wrestling videos over the year, starting off her career with the famous DWW.  She’s beautiful, tall, strong, and aggressive, as we saw in person when we met her at the Femwrestle event earlier in the year – you can see her wrestling our very own Isabella in the gallery photos.”

We are very grateful that Kimbra continues to wrestle. She deserves a highlight reel of some of her victories.

Here it is.

HUNGARY’S KIMBRA VS IRELAND’S KAT MAX

Kimbra sails into this battle as the favorite.

Though Kat is clearly stronger, Kimbra’s wrestling pedigree, competing with stars like Antscha, Viktoria, Orsi B. along with her DWW-HWW training and long match resume appears to give her the age.

We’ll see.

The two warriors start by trying to obtain control through the clinch and Kimbra’s experience is obvious as she clinches Kat, pulls forward, and immediately takes her down. The question of strength vs experience and technique is being answered fairly quickly.

Once down on the mats, Kimbra traps Kat in a triangle choke and only after slightly over one minute, Kat taps out.

That was quick.

The two warriors decide not to rest, get back up, and continue fighting on their knees.

Kimbra lunges forward and takes the fight to Kat, trapping her in a head scissors.

Kat uses her strong legs to try and escape but to no avail. Kimbra is locked in, has Kat flat on her back and is not letting go of her neck.

Kat does something surprising and spectacular. Not only does she break the hold, she lies on top of Kimbra. Can she do anything with that?

Unfortunately no.

Kimbra immediately breaks out of the hold and maneuvers Kat underneath where the strong girl will be in trouble again.

Kimbra locks on to the head lock and for a second looks like she will try for a smother but instead zeros in on the headlock with ferociousness and Kat first taps her feet and then Kimbra’s shoulder to let her know that she has had enough.

2-0 for the former DWW Alum. (4 minutes)

The two rest for a minute.

Once round three begins, after some upper head and body clinching, Kimbra charges forward and takes Kat down to the mats. Kat is ready with an answer as she traps the stealth girl in a floor to sitting body scissors where she has Kimbra bent over and in pain.

Will this lead to a submission?

Kat maintains the hold for some time and has very strong thighs, keeping the pressure on Kimbra.

Kimbra finally breaks free, scrambles around and does a reverse face sit on Kat who uses one arm to try and fend her off.

Kimbra once again is in complete control.

She tries for a reverse head scissors and Kat is wise enough to simultaneously clasp Kimbra into a waist body scissors. Often these holds come down to who can take the most pain and who can squeeze the hardest.

Kat breaks Kimbra’s head scissors while she sits up and still has Kimbra trapped in the body scissors.

They maneuver around and Kat slides Kimbra into a traditional headlock as the two roll around on the mats with Kimbra trying to break loose and Kat squeezing as hard as she can on Kimbra’s head.

By the look on Kat’s face, though she has the hold, it is excruciating to keep retaining it.

Kat can’t retain it.

Kimbra breaks the hold and immediately wraps her legs around Kat’s neck for a triangle choke. She tightens and tightens until an exhausted Kat taps out.

3-0 for the ex-DWW alum.

KIMBRA VS HUNGARY’S IRON

Antscha will serve as referee as the two sturdy wrestlers are introduced and come down to their knees.

As they begin the usual upper shoulder and neck struggle, it becomes clear that Kimbra is quite a bit taller than Iron and apparently stronger too.

She pushes Iron back and takes her down to the mats and immediately moves forward towards a smother position. The smother turns into a pin count, all the way up to ten. Iron struggles underneath but can’t break the hold. This was surprisingly easy as Kimbra pins her at the 10 count.

1-0. (1:06).

The audience is off camera and can be heard applauding.

So apparently this is a live event match. Even better.

Time to re-engage.

The two stealth ladies start with upper body and neck struggle until Iron manages to capture Kimbra in a headlock.

She takes her down and mounts her.

Antscha starts the pin count. Kimbra fights mightily to escape. Though still locked, the DWW alum manages to get her shoulders of the mats and onto her knees.

Iron hangs on for dear life with that head lock but one thing that is becoming very apparent is that, despite her outward muscle, Kimbra is stronger than Iron.

Looking at their body styles, who would have thought?

Kimbra now breaks the headlock and is on top of Iron. Another smother pin is a strong possibility.

Kimbra now erotically cradles Iron close to her, in close up camera action, while Iron is submissive and helpless underneath. Antscha begins the pin count and accept for a couple of sensuous futile leg kicks to escape, Iron passively submits.

2-0 for Kimbra (2:30).

This will be a critical round for Iron if she has any hopes of staying in this match.

Kimbra is becoming more confident as she opens up her playbook and tries an arm bar and headlock submission.

Nice try.

Iron does break free and goes on the offensive with a headlock and side body scissors. Question?

Is she strong enough to hold it?

Unfortunately no.

Kimbra struggles mightily and breaks the hold. She now takes the initiative and DWW style, performs a reverse face sit on Iron married to an upper extended arm bar.

Luzia would be proud.

The nice surprise is how erotic the match is. Once again, underneath, Iron just lies there passively as Kimbra sits on her face. She doesn’t even try much leg struggle. Antscha counts her out at ten.

3-0 for Kimbra (4:17).

EARLY DWW DENISE VS KIMBRA

Kimbra is wearing a long white knee support, almost like a stocking on her right leg and knee. A possible factor in the match but our victory odds are still on Kimbra.

The two begin the battle with an attempt on headlocks. Kimbra first and though Denise is second, the Czech model’s headlock is more effective.

As they crash to the mats, Denise is in control.

She has Kimbra in trouble early on and appears to be taking the fight to her. We wonder why? Is it because in 2009 Kimbra is somewhat new in comparison to Denise?

Maybe.

Is it because they are fighting in front of a crowd which includes Kimbra’s Hungarian contemporaries and leaders in Viktoria and Antscha? Maybe she’s a little nervous?

Possibly.

She had better right the ship soon because a headlock slides into a body scissors and Denise appears to be closing in on a submission.

Early in her career or not, Kimbra is not one to give up and she doesn’t.

About 3 minutes into the match, Kimbra begins to right the ship. (6:25)

Some of that she can thank Denise for.

The Czech brunette has one opportunity after another to submit Kimbra, the last being a floor to standing body scissors which she couldn’t secure. Kimbra breaks the hold and now begins to take control.

She now traps Denise in a ground level upper body scissors which Denise cannot escape but will not submit to either.

Kimbra will soon make sure that she does submit.

When she receives an opportunity, this girl knows how to seal the deal.

MMA style, she claps Denise’s right arm and literally begins to twist it to the left side above her shoulders. It looks scary like she could pull it out of socket. Denise screams and taps out.

The beauty with the model looks stays bent over for at least a minute, moving her arm and trying to collect herself.

As the second round is about to begin, the veteran Denise clearly looks a little rattled and to put it mildly, the temporarily lesser known Kimbra has absolutely gotten Denise’s attention who knows she is in a dog fight.

This is no run of the mill DWW veteran dominates the new girl joust.

The two beauties circle one another and both go for the headlock, Kimbra almost riding her cowgirl style. Denise is a veteran and knows how to fight so any submission for Kimbra in the second round will absolutely not come easy.

Denise begins to control the action, often riding on top of Kimbra but she cannot secure the submission.

Yet.

For minutes Denise tries smothering Kimbra, one position after another, always on top and always close.

But no cigar.

Finally she clasps Kimbra’s chin and rolls her into a behind the back body scissors. This should be Denise’s opportunity to close the deal.

But she can’t.

Kimbra breaks the hold.

She now climbs on top of Denise and you get the sense of what is coming and it shouldn’t take long.

Kimbra maneuvers the Czech beauty into a chin lock and scissors grasping Denise behind the neck and pulling her closer.

Like wounded prey, Denise struggles but you can feel the life draining out of her. Kimbra straightens her legs around Kimbra’s neck and cranks hard.

Denise submits.

Kimbra leads 2-0.   (14:25)

Things are silent in the room. The crowd is eerily quiet.

At this point in DWW history, Denise the cat fighter, before the match was probably seen as the front runner due to her extensive experience.

How does a frontrunner respond?

Especially when they are unexpectedly losing in front of an audience who expected the more experienced fighter to win.

Some who have never been in that situation before will fade.

Others, though stunned, will assess their new and very real situation and try and recover. Come up with Plan B.

They are a little confused and publicly embarrassed but they will not give up.

Denise is an example of the latter.

She is clearly out to sea right now.

As she and Kimbra refresh themselves and walk around the famous DWW padded room in front of an audience, you can feel the wheels in Denise’s brain churning. Kimbra is more of a blank canvass.

Time to begin the third round.

SUMMARY

There you have it.

Some of Kimbra’s greatest moments.

A highlight reel is a great show of appreciation but only does her career slight justice.
