DWW Classic, Dana N. Vs Lenka, Blonde Wrestling Domination Memorized
August 4, 2022,
It is never wise to base your past important recollections on memory. So often it will fail you with inaccuracies. What you thought you remembered is probably not what actually occurred.
In fact, most likely not.
According to healthline.com, “Human memory is notoriously unreliable, especially when it comes to details. Scientists have found that prompting an eyewitness to remember more can generate details that are outright false but that feel just as correct to the witness as actual memories.”
That is why for many of us who have attended high school reunions, we try and remember the details of the friendships we had with people that we know, but it often is hazy.
Far more interesting is what they remember about us that we don’t.
We want to remember DWW’s Dana N.
She is athletic, blonde and gorgeous.
We do have a memory of her but it is hazy.
Very hazy.
She wrestled in the early DWW days but not for long. When you take a look at her, you absolutely want to remember this European beauty.
Did you know that when the famous, and admittedly sometimes infamous, sweet faced German wrestler Karine visited DWW for the very first time that one of her matches was against Dana?
See what we mean about memory?
Femcompetitor Magazine loved Dana so much and wrote about her, as of this August 4, 2022 writing, approximately 7 years ago. It was primarily in profile form as were most of Fem Com’s early articles on the DWW girls.
Now FCI Women’s Wrestling tends to write more in detail of the matches the girls wrestled in.
It helps with the memory.
DANA

Sometimes another opinion and insightful review will help.
This DWW review surprised us. “Dana was at her best at this event and Lenka was more determined than ever. She may try to bottle up her emotion but she hates to lose. Dana is confident enough to try to take Lenka’s place in pecking order and from the word go she throws down the gauntlet: fight me! Here is some of the most brutal hair pulling we’ve ever seen. Gasp at the big clumps of hair they rip out in this no-quarter battle.”
With that review we decided to take another look at the video of Dana meeting Lenka.
DANA VS LENKA
The girls warm up in blouses and dresses inside of the famous DWW studio with the padded grey walls and dark blue mats. It is a friendly atmosphere between two sensuous girl next door blondes who are about to tear into each other.
You would never know it by the relaxed warmups.
At this stage in their careers Dana is 22 and Lenka is 24. Both beauties weigh 119 pounds.
We are more familiar with Lenka as she has a far deeper DWW resume. We remember her as solid but not formidable and mostly that is due to her smaller size.
Femcompetitor Magazine wrote a piece about her as well.
LENKA
DWW’S Lenka Makes You Yearn For The Good Old Days
Will skill win out over experience here? We are curious to find out.
Now that the warmups are done, the battle is about to begin.
Dana surprises us and Lenka by immediately performing a leaping body scissors on the veteran.
Down goes Lenka to the mats trapped inside of Dana’s legs as the taller girl grasps her hair, pulls and won’t let go. We can hear Lenka’s exasperated cries of pain but Dana is unimpressed and even less sympathetic. She refuses to release and soon Lenka has to call in the cards and tap out.
Interesting start.
There is a moment of silence in the room as Lenka gathers herself. This was clearly unexpected.
Was it an aberration?
The girls begin again.
Lenka appears to be determined and is. As the two leap at one another, Lenka is the first to secure a head lock.
Temporarily.
Dana breaks the hold and secures a headlock of her own coupled with a tuft of Lenka’s golden hair.
Down they go to the mats again with Dana in control.
Similar to before, she won’t let go and once again Lenka’s cries of pain fill the room. No matter to Dana. She keeps pulling Lenka’s hair which will soon turn into a semi-body scissors then a smother.
Lenka withstands that but she can’t withstand Dana changing positions and pulling her blonde locks harder.
She taps out.
2-0 in favor of Dana.
What is starting to become clear to us in watching this indoor encounter is, though supposedly less experienced, and the operative word here is supposedly, Dana is simply too strong for Lenka and even though the stats say they are both 119 pounds, Dana appears to be the larger of the two.
At the 6:25 mark it is time for Lenka to gather herself again.
She puts on her game face but this time we’re not believing it. Our short term memory is pretty good and we see more of the same coming.
And it does.
Once they engage again, Dana is completely in control and mounts Lenka from the top and holds tightly to her hair. More screams from Lenka fill the room but to no avail.
Mercifully she taps out once more.
3-0 for the taller blonde.
We sense your short-term memory is working pretty well too, so we know how the fourth round is going to go and so it does.
To Lenka’s credit it does last longer than the first three and she even has a chance to submit Dana but Dana gains control again and provides Lenka with some new memories that seem a lot like the previous ones.
Lenka taps out and lays flat on the mats.
Dana gladly stands over her, posing in the victory stance with one arm raised, as she has one foot poised on Lenka’s lifeless body in victory.
Afterwards Lenka is asked if she is okay and she ignores the DWW producer and walks off.
We never remembered Lenka as a super star but we also don’t remember her getting thrashed 4-0 like in this intense competition against the newer Dana.
The DWW matches are important to us female wrestling purists.
As far as our memory goes, with these DWW girls and their incredible matches, we’ve made a decision. Don’t trust our memory.
Get it down in writing.
Video sure helps.
