There is not much celluloid on Milana that we can find.
Andy is a newer girl who can whip other newer ones by kicking tail and taking numbers.
The fight today between these Czech beauties will reveal a lot.
There is no need for a major match preview because we haven’t seen enough film but we do feel, at the entry intermediate level, both female warriors are very good.
Let’s see.
MILANA VS ANDY
The two begin on their knees in the squared circle.
Andy is the aggressor as she takes Milana down to the mats with a headlock.
They struggle and Milana escapes the headlock but Andy keeps her on the mats. Milana tries to use her legs to fight the porcelain blonde off but Andy is very persistent. She swats Milana’s leg away and captures her in a side body scissor then squeezes hard.
Milana screams and taps out.
1-0 for Andy (1:30).
As they re-engage, Milana returns the favor and traps Andy in a headlock and takes her down. For a moment, Andy scissors Milana’s left leg to prevent a full mount. The beautiful dark haired brunette manages to break her leg free and now, from the side, she has Andy encased in a formidable headlock.
Andy taps out.
The score is tied 1-1 (2:00).
The two female warriors slowly move towards one another from their knees. Andy immediately lunges towards Milana’s head and takes her down. Milana responds with a fierce struggle, breaks the hold, then lunges towards Andy’s head and takes her down with a thud.
The good news for Andy is that she simultaneously traps Milana in a side scissor and breaks the headlock. She now has Milana encased in a floor to bending body scissor as Milana, standing but bent over, tries to navigate through the scissors.
Can Milana break those scissors?
She can’t.
To our surprise, Milana taps out from a floor to standing body scissors applied by Andy. If Andy can make her tap that easily, this could be a long match for Milana.
2-1 for Andy (3:04).
Time to renew.
Milana immediately leaps at Andy’s head area and is very effective at taking her down to the mats, sliding on top of her.
Andy shows that she is stronger by rolling the exotic brunette over and now she is back on top.
Milana tries to counter with a floor to kneeling body scissors, rarely an effective closing hold, and Andy continues to dictate the action from the top.
Andy lifts Milana off of the floor and lays her flat on her stomach while she attempts to mount her from behind.
Both girls apply side headlocks.
Milana wins out on that competition but the following sequences reveals Milana is not very experienced nor does she have a plan.
She could have rolled Andy into a brutal side body scissors but doesn’t.
Next she sits on Andy’s neck and chest area, almost near face sit territory, where she now can easily lie to her side and slide Andy into a brutal side head scissor and arm bar combination and she doesn’t even come close to doing so.
Interesting.
Andy breaks the hold.
While Andy is on top, Milana tries to apply a head scissor from below. Another very low percentage submission move (5:00).
The two hit the mats and roll around in struggle.
Finally Milana traps Andy in a floor to sitting body scissors which she breaks.
They now stand to re-engage.
Andy traps Milana and slowly takes the gorgeous brunette down to the mats. More importantly, she lands on top of her in a position of strength.
Milana rolls on top of Andy, in the smother position, but at this point, both girls continue to play fast and loose with the holds.
We haven’t seen much of Milana before, but we have Andy, so this is a little puzzling. If this is the best Milana can do, Andy should be dominating this match. Where is the Andy that completely dominated and frustrated both Italy’s Samantha and the Czech Republic’s Aneta?
Milana makes a mistake and Andy traps her in a brutal side body scissor and Milana immediately taps out.
Now that is the Andy that we have come to know and love.
3-1 for Andy (6:40).
When we think about Milana, during our match review process, we are only going by memory but we thought she would perform a little better than this.
Starting on their knees Milana lunges at Andy and takes her down. She quickly bends over Andy’s torso area and locks in. She then slides up to a school girl pin position and easily glides Andy into a side head scissors and squeeze hard.
Blow the whistle.
Andy taps out.
3-2 for Andy (7:20).
During that segment, from start to finish Milana appeared to have a plan. If so, well executed.
Time to engage.
Right from the start Milana is impatient and makes a bad move by trying to encase Andy in a floor to sitting body scissors, a move we almost hate. Now if she fails, Andy is right on top of her for a smother. Our question to Milana would be why change up from what just worked?
Keep doing it until Andy stops it.
Not to be.
Milana makes another questionable move by leaping at Andy’s waist with a scissor while Andy carries her, let’s her back down to the mats and hovers over her.
Andy breaks the hold.
Milana is now sitting on the mats and instead of taking advantage of the situation and leaping on top of Milana, curiously Andy just steps away and let’s Milana get to her feet unchallenged.
The two young women trap one another in a mutual head scissors and fall to the mats with Andy on top but Milana holding on desperately to that headlock.
Better for Milana if she were on top with that headlock.
Side headlocks open up ideal opportunities for side body scissors for your opponent. Andy accepts the gift, vice’s Milana in a side body scissors, squeezes hard and the exotic dark haired brunette taps out.
4-2 for Andy (8:40).
They begin again on their knees with wrist grabbing as Milana gains the initial advantage and takes Andy down, is on top but quickly loses the position. They struggle back and forth and Andy gains the top position with a reverse face sit. Milana raises up both legs for a scissor pull down, misses the first time but under cuts Andy the second time and Andy’s top position is broken.
As they re-engage, the beautiful girls bear hug one another and Milana lands on top with the takedown. Andy soon rolls her over but accidentally slides right into a floor to sitting body scissors. Not remotely a lethal submission position as Andy rises, swats Milana’s legs away and breaks the hold.
She now negotiates Milana into a backwards face sit as Milana keeps kicking her tanned legs to escape. In the process she actually grabs Andy’s hair and pulls upon it.
Cat fighter reflex we suppose.
Andy stays in the fight and captures Milana in various body scissor holds until she makes the last one count.
Milana taps out.
Andy wins 5-2.
At the entry intermediate level, this was an energetic match. Andy appears to be headed to a higher level at a faster pace than Milana and this is another victory that will help her gain experience.
