So much of what happens today speaks to improvement.
Who has improved the most over the recent months?
With Germany’s Curie and Ireland’s Lexi, very good mid-level wrestlers, it will become evident by the end of the match.
In matches that we reviewed, Lexi had very impressive performances against a rising star in England’s Nika and a victory over an established star in Hungary’s Kim.
Curie can easily defeat the newer to entry level girls like Italy’s Samantha. She has a respectable record against mid-level wrestlers like Lexi’s contemporary in Kat Max. They have common victories over a solid wrestler in Kim. She also had a tough battle against a mid-level star in Serbia’s Rage.
Having said that, Curie has difficulty against elite wrestlers like England’s Sativa who completely dominated her.
Today should be revealing, sexy and very entertaining. Today is about, most.
Who wants to win the most?
Who has improved the most?
Time to go ringside and find out.
CURIE VS LEXI
This battle will take place in Antscha’s world famous studio in front of a live audience, which often brings out the wrestler’s best.
First, the two beauties flex, an awesome sight. Then they come down to their knees to begin the fight.
They start with upper neck struggle and Lexi wins that joust and takes Curie down to the mats on her side. Being on her side provides Curie an opportunity to scissor Lexi from the side. Lexi forces that option and finds her way to the top, almost capturing Curie in a Guillotine Hold, which ideally would turn into a Guillotine Choke.
It doesn’t.
Lexi loses the hold.
Curie is now the aggressor and, from her back, she is loosely captures Lexi in a leg Triangle Hold. Lexi struggles and escapes that but falls right back into Curie’s waiting legs. The German maiden now captures the Irish beauty in a floor to sitting body scissors, squeezing hard. Lexi tries to escape, but can’t.
We have our first submission.
1-0 for Curie (2:04).
Back to the necks.
The two warriors start up top, struggle and move their way towards the corner of the room. Curie leaps on top of Lexi and takes her down with a scissor. She is going to try and capture her again in the floor to sitting scissors and see if lightning strikes twice.
It doesn’t.
Lexi breaks the hold and leaps on top of Curie in the form of a cross body pin. Curie is now struggling underneath as Lexi is cheered on by her contingent.
Curie rolls her but Lexi still holds on to a form of a rear naked choke but can’t secure it as Curie continues to roll the gorgeous brunette around. The German athlete breaks the hold and they are back to square one.
They engage.
Curie soon gets the upper hand and once again Lexi falls right into the shapely maiden’s scissor hold. Curie is shaking Lexi around until she lowers her head and captures her in a Guillotine Choke as well. Lexi struggles and does escape but, falls right back into Curie’s waiting scissors.
Give Lexi credit. She refuses to give in but the moment she appears to escape, Curie keeps those legs waiting for another trap. The two gorgeous girls find themselves against the wall, Curie has Lexi trapped in a headlock from the bottom position but slowly flips and rolls her over.
This an incredible position to perform a cross body pin.
Curie straightens out and elongates her body over Lexi’s upper torso and Antscha begins the pin count. Lexi is cheered on by the audience to escape but can’t. In one very sexy sequence, kicking her wonderful legs in futility, Lexi is counted out.
2-0 for the German star (5:40).
Lexi is very aggressive this time around and pull’s Curie’s head downward.
The Irish star captures Curie in a Guillotine Choke.
Wisely, she adds a floor to sitting body scissors to the menu. One hold alone is not very effective but both of them together is dangerous. For the first time, Curie appears to be in trouble. Can she escape or will Lexi finally achieve a submission?
They struggle.
Curie grimaces and taps out. Lexi is finally on the board.
2-1 to Curie (6:25).
Bending over like tigresses ready to pounce, they engage. They struggle and Curie goes back to what has worked and traps Lexi in a floor to sitting body scissors. Both girls are groaning now and getting a little winded.
Lexi struggles.
She turns her body and performs what almost looks like a backbreaker and escapes Curie’s leg hold. The natural move for her from there is to fall on top of Curie’s body, heads facing opposite directions, capture the German princess in a body scissor, roll her sideways and begin to squeeze. Curie is indeed trapped but at this point does not appear to be in trouble.
That could quickly change.
And it does.
Curie breaks the hold.
Curie uses her left arm to try for a headlock but Lexi escapes the attempt.
Time to start again.
As they engage, Curie makes the mistake of lowering her head and Lexi quickly rides her from the top and begins to bull rush and push Curie around. The German girl is now struggling from the bottom and Lexi appears to be gaining confidence. She pulls Curie backwards, applies a mid-waist behind the back scissor and, more important, for that sought after combination hold, encases Curie in a tight rear naked choke and begins to crank on it. Curie’s faces is straining. Can she escape this combination dilemma?
The veins in Curie’s face and forehead are starting to bulge.
She cannot escape and taps out.
Incredible match. Lexi has come from behind and tied this battle up. Kudos to her for not giving up.
2-2 (9:26).
Curie has a look of determination on her face. There is no giving up in either one of them.
They engage.
She pulls Lexi’s head downward and pulls her into a floor to sitting body scissor.
Go back to what works.
She quickly turns it into a combination hold with a tough Guillotine choke. Curies grimaces and begins to crank it tight. She has less than one minute to make this work. She tightens the grip even more as Lexi is clearly in pain.
Lexi taps out.
The match is over.
3-2 for the German star.
This match lived up to billing. It was sexy, close, back and forth and skillfully fought.
