Akela vs Zoe Grappling

Life as a whole becomes wonderful in the long term when we break it down and plan it for enjoyment and satisfaction on a daily basis.

For those of us who love competitive female grappling, watching it alone as an isolated event is fine, but making a day of it with a meal with friends is even better.

With an eye on the exciting city of Prague where there is great female grappling, there are wonderful places to eat as well.

Bistro Proti Proudu is one of them.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, Photography studio BoysPlayNice photo

The well-researched site wallpaper.com praises well. “With an ever-growing number of cool cafés, wine bars and shops, Prague’s Karlín district is fast becoming a haven for the hip set.

Its latest arrival, is Bistro Proti, a cozy corner eatery with a sleek interior inspired by the neighborhood’s most significant historical figure, engineer František Križík.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, Photography studio BoysPlayNice photo

The restaurant is a twenty-year long dream come true for journalist husband and wife team David and Karolina Konecný, who tasked local atelier Mimosa and architecture firm Modulora to outfit the space.

Clean oak furnishings and marble floors are elegant additions to an otherwise industrial space, which serves an all-day breakfast menu along with light additions such as soups, sandwiches and homemade desserts.”

What a great story. A restaurant built upon passion and love.

“We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”……. Winston Churchill

The interesting site hypebeast.com wants to share as well speaking to the beauty of the stylish architecture. “Mimosa Architekti has taken the concept of clean and minimalistic to new heights with its Proti Proudu Bistro, located in the Karlin district of Prague. The cafe follows a theme of “current and connection” that is, all of its electrical wiring is aligned along its perforated plywood walls, at perfect 90-degree angles.

The electrical concept, influenced by Czech engineer František Křižík, creates functional equipment with an obsessive attention to detail, as the switches and connections mimic the floor arrangement of the lamps and are arranged to form patterns for the guests. And as if the layout and design was not enough, the lighting system is motion-sensitive; that is, customers turn on and off the lights via proximity sensors simply by coming and going.”

Very cool. Very Hip. Very now.

Still, architecture is wonderful but what about the food?

Thanks to foursquare.com, here are the reviews. “Don’t miss this new place! They serve soup of the day, salads, sandwiches and amazing cakes. Everything is fresh and tasty. Service is perfect!”

And here is another. “Amazing place! I need to recommend strongly this bistro – really nice staff, very good coffee and sandwiches. And I really like what architects did with interiors.”

Okay. Here is one more. “One of the best cafés in Prague. Number one for me. Try their sandwiches, cakes, whatever and you will fall in love with this place as well!!”

Now that you are full, are you ready for a great female vs female competitive grappling movie?

We are and here it is.

Our highly anticipated (62% interest) third installment of Head-to-Head Contest pits two of the best lightweight wrestlers, Akela and Zoe, against each other for the first time since the lightweight championship final.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, zoe vs akela fightpulse.com photo

Zoe and Akela’s above mentioned first match, FW-21, has quickly become a best-seller, and will enter the list of top 10 best-selling titles of all-time during the next monthly update, within only 3 months after release. It is easily one of the fastest and most intense and competitive matches we have ever filmed, full of agonizing scissor holds and headlocks, and amazing escapes fueled by sheer determination.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, zoe vs akela fightpulse.com photo

The tone of HH-03 is more relaxed, since, after all, it is only a series of challenges. Nevertheless the at times emotional absolute competitiveness between Akela and Zoe exhibited in FW-21 carries over. Akela is the one more determined to not spare any effort to win this contest, obvious from the get-go, in the finger lock challenge, as well as any of the head scissor holds, as she carefully positions and maneuvers her hips in search of the perfect squeeze, in order to make Zoe submit as quick as possible. After all, she is the one with something to prove. We already know that this brings out the best in Zoe.

We will not reveal the outcome. However, let us say that labeling this contest as a competition between upper-body and lower-body strengths would not be far from truth. However there is more to HH-03 than that.

As usual, for ease of reference, below we present the outline and guidelines of H2H contests.

H2H contest consists of the following 11 challenges:
#1 Finger lock wrestling – opponents lock their hands in a test of strength and try to get each other to either submit or get down on at least one knee
#2 Arm-wrestling – laying down on the mats; once with each arm (possibility of a tie)
#3 Lifting – the contestant who lifts their opponent and keeps them from touching the mats for the longest period of time wins this challenge; each chooses their lift type
#4 Push-ups – the contestants do push-ups on referee’s count, and the one who stops sooner loses the challenge
#5 Leg wrestling – once with each leg (possibility of a tie)
#6 Schoolgirl pin challenge – this challenge follows the basic outline of our schoolgirl pin challenge videos (FW-12, FW-16 & FW-23); in order to get a point the contestant has to pin their opponent’s shoulders down to the count of ten within a one-minute period; each can choose their favorite type of sgpin
#7 Body scissors – the contestant who withstands her / his opponent’s body scissors for the longest wins the point
#8 Front head scissors – the contestant who withstands her / his opponent’s front head scissors for the longest wins the point
#9 Reverse head scissors – similar rules to above
#10 Figure-four head scissors – similar rules to above
#11 Reverse figure-four head scissors – similar rules to above

Logically, the winner of most of these challenges is declared to be the winner. The maximum possible score is 11-0. The minimum possible difference is 0, since the challenge can easily end up being a tie. This could happen if 1, 3 (quite possible) or more (improbable, but not impossible) of the above challenges end up being a tie. The three challenges that can easily end up with a tie, as noted above, are arm-wrestling, leg-wrestling and sgpin challenges, when each contestant wins one of the rounds. As to other challenges, they could theoretically end up with a tie as well, if the times are so close that we find it extremely difficult to determine the winner on the stopwatch or the computer screen.

Jane vs Kristi Grappling

Navigating the Prague eatery landscape can be an exhaustive and exhilarating experience. There are so many fantastic places to dine and snack in Prague and at Femcompetitor Magazine, we have spoken about many of them.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

Having said that, in that regard we are still amateurs.

So let’s turn to someone who has become somewhat of an expert.

It’s time for a meal and a female vs female grappling movie.

Lisette Allen is a freelance journalist who contributes regularly to The Guardian’s online Travel section as their Been There Local Expert for Prague as well as other UK based publications. She has written for Expats.cz on a broad range of topics including dining in Prague.

Regarding another gem she expresses, “It’s always pleasing to spot a new independent café right near a branch of a corporate coffee chain.”

It’s time to meet Sweet and Pepper Days.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, expats.cz photo

Lissette introduces us to this quiet Prague hideaway. They have hot breakfast options including the full English, pancakes and omelets. For lunchtime visitors there are burgers, soups, salads, a range of sandwiches, and even a gourmet cheddar dog.

Sounds wonderful.

The reviewers agree.

“I love really good food and I don’t ever want to spend too much for it, but I like hanging out and having really good, tasty, interesting food.”….. Kris Allen

At the informative and often tasty site foursquare.com provides us with a few.

One reviewer expresses, “Vinohrady’s hidden gem with a lot of sweet and salty treats. Just name it: hot dogs, burgers, wraps or tasty cakes. The environment is cool and cozy.”

Another speaks between nibbles, “Love this café! Nice tomato soup with chili-cheddar croutons. Nice homemade lemonade. Nice cheddar hotdog. But their Spanish tuna salad was really disappointing. Avocado & prosciutto sandwich – yum!”

Very good. Now we are full, it’s time for a fantastic female vs female wrestling film from the Czech Republic.

FW-28: Jane vs Kristi

By Zweig on Feb 03, 2016 06:53 pm

fciwomenswrestling.com article, fightpusle.com photo

In her energetic, albeit painful, and ultimately exhausting, debut at Fight Pulse, Kristi faces the very aggressive Jane. Jane, despite being new to wrestling herself, has already proven that she can fight with the best. Due to her unmatched speed and ferocity of her sudden attacks, Jane is truly a rough welcome for anybody. Can Kristi handle it?

fciwomenswrestling.com article, fightpusle.com photo

We usually do not give new wrestlers aggressive and fast opponents in their first match, but it had to be done because of some last-minute changes in the schedule due to one wrestler calling in sick on our 10th of January shoot. Before the match one of the wrestlers that were standing by for her next match approached us in private and advised us to change the schedule again, since Kristi, she said, will not be able to handle such pressure. This happened because Kristi seemed timid, maybe due to her very kind nature and gentle manners, and not at all as the feisty wrestler type. But we decided to see Kristi in action before making any decisions. It didn’t take long for Kristi to find the fight in herself that we didn’t see at first. FW-28 ended up being a beautiful encounter that we were lucky to have set up and filmed.

We will disclose that Jane is dominant throughout the match, pinning down and submitting Kristi in scissors round after round. Kristi is caught off-guard by Jane’s attacks and gets slammed onto the mats brutally several times in the match. However, despite being winded by Jane’s fierce attacks, the amount of effort that Kristi puts out avoiding many of Jane’s pins and escaping her scissors several times, using only brute strength and determination, is what elevates this match to a whole another level. You can see the struggle that we are referring to briefly in the demo video embedded below.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, fightpusle.com photo

FW-28, Kristi’s first wrestling match, is easily one of the most impressive debuts at Fight Pulse, in terms of how much of an effort she puts out. With this match Kristi immediately earned the respect of her fellow wrestlers, as well as the admiration of the production team. We are looking forward to watching her grow as a wrestler, and of course, doing our best to help her in her journey, if she decides this is what she wants to do.

Katniss – Zoe Grapple

Our series of dinner with a movie (F vs F) in Prague continues.

Today we will have one slight variation where we offer up one of the best sandwich shops in Prague.

It’s called Mr. Bánh Mì, but after eating their sandwiches you will just call them “Sir”.

They invite us in at http://www.mrbanhmi.cz/en/about/

“Vietnamese banh mi is a word derived from Banh (bread) and mì (wheat). This kind of bagel originated from a simple french baguette. To complete the origins of the recipe you need to go back to the second half of the 19th century, the time of the French colonies in Vietnam. In the city of Saigon was a popular dish originally Parisian baguette. Over time, especially in the middle of the following century they began to replace the original local fresh ingredients for their own.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, www.scuk.cz photo

Bánh mì sandwiches are typical for fluffy bread sandwiches own with a thin crispy crust. Variants and flavors are truly various – filled with braised pork, chicken, fish meat or fine meatballs in tomato sauce. But also with vegetarian tofu and our specialty is the bagel with cream mini Portobello mushrooms. For proper baguette Bánh mì inherently sliced pickled carrots and turnips or radishes, cilantro and homemade pate. To taste the best spicy chili sauce – called Sriracha ketchup.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, www.scuk.cz photo

With its distinctive fresh taste, balance in many variations banh mi earned a place among the exclusive sandwiches and soon became a popular dish in the world. Mr. Banh mi benefits from a family tradition of preparation and years of experience with our chefs serving Vietnamese sandwiches. We are convinced that you will love the taste of fresh fluffy banh mi. We can also offer other Vietnamese specialties – pho soup, rolls, rolls, salads and more. You can find us in one of our restaurants, on our Facebook and also on DámeJídlo.cz.

Bon appetite,
Mr. Bánh mì

That sounds wonderful. If you travel to Prague, this appears to be the place.

Now it’s time for a movie.

Maria Euro Wrestler

Another competitor would have given up a long time ago.

The DWW Hungarian super star Viktoria M. had Maria trapped in a body scissors that clearly lasted over 2 minutes during their well-attended international match. Maria was in excruciating pain but she refused to give up. Earlier she had Maria pinned in an extensive smother. Maria endured that too.

That was Maria’s trademark.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

Her endurance during a match was legend. Her ability to absorb pain widely respected. Her training as a Black Sea Amazon paid off.

Come what may, all bad fortune is to be conquered by endurance.…….Virgil

During her campaigns, Maria wrestled Alina, Nancy, Lilya, Edita, Valentina, Viktoria, Svetlana, Lessja, Reni and, Bea S among others.

Her reviews were always filled with admiration and excitement. Here are a few.

Maria was only 18 at the time of this match.

“After an approximately 3 minutes long warm up and muscle firework of beautiful kick boxer Maria, this submission wrestling match starts furiously. Once again we must warn you that this wrestling match is for the admirers of female athletes and of sports submission wrestling only. Once again, even the jiu jitsu techniques were allowed and used in this fight. This is one of the finest and most intense submission wrestling matches in our long line of sporting female wrestling matches. Experts will be astonished by the strength and skills and braveness of these true female athletes.”

Endurance is not just the ability to bear a hard thing, but to turn it into glory.William Barclay

Maria could wrestle as well as box. She not only competed in the ring and on the mats but the beach as well. She took on all comers including Lilya. “Two pretty women wrestle each other on a sandy beach in front of their cheering girlfriends. This is a short but very intense submissions wrestling match between two beautiful, fit and athletic woman who both love to fight for real and who don’t hold back anything at all. This is real wrestling on a sunny beach and we bet that you’d love being there, too. Simply said, you’ll have to be at the right time at the right place. If you haven’t been there, you may still watch that video to enjoy their real fight.”

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

What I enjoyed when reviewing Maria’s matches is that she virtually never lost to someone when she was the frontrunner or had a size advantage on them as she did when she faced the sexy blonde Valentina on the grass. This was Maria’s match to win and she could have much easier if she was better at closing. So often she had Valentina in a position of weakness to exact a submission and she let her escape.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, dww photo

At least the two girls had fun as they rolled near a large mound of cut grass and when they rolled into it, laughter spilled out from the onlookers and competitors alike.

Sporting a sexy green outfit, Maria engaged DWW star Edita in front of an audience inside their famous padded studio with the blue mats. It was one tough struggle where Maria was constantly enduring Edita’s lethal body scissors. Though very competitive, the two beauties show good sportsmanship, shaking hands before each re-engagement.

Maria is a tough fighter from Ukraine.

It’s a country in the news given its concerns with Russia but it certainly has a cultural beauty and strong history.

Ukraine has long been a global breadbasket because of its extensive, fertile farmlands, and it remains one of the world’s largest grain exporters. The diversified economy of Ukraine includes a large heavy industry sector, particularly in aerospace and industrial equipment.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

Mutual customs are shared among the cultures of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Ukrainian Cossacks and Turkic peoples of Central Asia. Ukrainian customs are heavily influenced by the Eastern Orthodox Church and traditions from Slavic mythology.

When entering a region in many ways is hidden from the world, it’s nice to have a guide. The sound cultural information site ukraine.com has agreed to help us navigate Ukraine’s cultural landscape.

“Since Ukraine is geographically located between Europe and Asia, much of its culture exhibits both Eastern and Western influences. Today, the country is somewhat culturally divided with the western regions bearing a stronger European influence and the eastern regions showing a strong Russian influence.

Ukrainian culture is richly embedded in ancient traditions. Even today many historical songs such as the Dumy and the playing of the Kobza – which was popular during the 16th century – is still enjoyed. However, music has also come a long way since then and Polissia magic pop and Kolomiya rap have gained popularity. The culture scene has also seen a resurgence of Cossack songs and song poetry. There are also a number of cultural festivals such as the Tavriya Games which are most popular.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

The Ukrainian people also enjoy their culture in the form of traditional dances and dance games. Many of these originated in rural Cossack villages and some of the oldest dances can be traced back to ancient cults. Traditionally many of these dances were performed only by males or females, but today both sexes sometimes mix and enjoy the dance together. Appreciation for these dances is usually kept alive by Ukrainian dance troupes.

Many people do not know that the tradition of the Easter egg had its beginnings in the Ukraine. In times gone by (and still sometimes today) these eggs were drawn on with wax to create patterns. Dye was then added to give the eggs their delightful colors – the dye not affecting the wax coated parts of the egg. Once the whole egg was dyed, the wax was removed leaving only the colorful pattern. The tradition is thousands of years old and predates the arrival of Christianity in the country. While Christian interpretations of this practice abound, many Ukrainians still believe that the egg has immense power and releases the earth from the restraints of winter. Even the designs have meaning and the eggs are usually given as gifts or used as decorations.

Ukrainians celebrate a number of holidays, namely Christmas, Easter, Whitsuntide, New Years and Ivana Kupala (St John’s Eve).”

The first virtue in a soldier is endurance of fatigue; courage is only the second virtue……….Napoleon Bonaparte

The world of competitive women’ wrestling continues to educate and expand our minds.

Maria’s wrestling career was an intense, painful and exciting demonstration of endurance and triumph. With her long flowing hair, sexy athletic 5ft, 7 inch body and boundless talent, Maria proved that female grappling is ideal for the tough and beautiful.

Marcela, Euro Wrestler

Lori “Lolo” Jones is an American track and field and bobsled athlete who specializes in the 60 and 100 meter hurdles. She won three NCAA titles and garnered 11 All-American honors while at LSU. She won indoor national titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in the 60 m hurdles, with gold medals at the World Indoor Championship in 2008 and 2010.

She is proof that some athletes are capable of being stars in multiple sports.

DWW’s Marcela had a brief, but strong wrestling career, and she was also widely respected as an exceptional rugby player.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

What intrigued me about Marcela was that when she wrestled she loved to wear green army camouflage style attire.

She would need to bring an army with her when she battled the well-known Danube star Viktoria M. inside on the blue mats.

It was a match where onlookers were continually coaching and Viktoria’s body scissors elicited primal screams from Marcela. Still give our Rugby Princess her due. She installed a crunching body scissors on the sultry Hungarian beauty as well.

Her competition against Ina in the same room at first glance appeared to be a mismatch since Marcela was taller and heavier than the slender beauty sporting black. As usual, Marcela had her green warrior look.

Once the battle started, surprisingly Ina took control for a substantial amount of time before Marcela turned the tables and secured her with tight body scissors.

Marcela met Eva Sch in the indoor upper room and being the older grappler perhaps expected to have an advantage but Eva sporting the USA red, white and blue was just too tough.

About one minute into the match she trapped Marcela in a body scissors so painful that she screamed by surprise. It caught some of the other DWW girls in the audience by surprise as well as they began to laugh hysterically.

Once Marcela gathered herself, she began to initiate the action against Eva and even gained control but Eva would eventually escape an extended body scissors, get on top of Marcela, clutched Marcela’s face between her legs and squeeeeeeeeeeeezed!

You could almost hear Marcela’s jaw crack as she screamed loudly.

There was a temporary silence…….was she okay? Then the DWW girls started giggling again.

Oh well, girls will be girls.

Some reviewers enjoyed her matches as well.

Regarding her joust with Eva, here is another view. “This is an exciting pins and submissions wrestling match between two novice wrestlers.

Marcela is a mature woman and a female rugby player and therefore she’s used to fighting. She was pretty confident about winning after she had seen that blonde newcomer Eva Sch. for the first time – however, she had been pretty wrong with her impression of Eva because that 19 years old blonde was a talented fighter.

Whatever Marcela tried doing to her, that much younger blonde did always know a good answer. The longer this match went on, the more Marcela became distressed. She was aggressively trying beating up that so much younger blonde but the more she had tried, the worse her own situation became. This is a great competitive wrestling match what particularly our fans of strong scissors will enjoy as well as those of you who like watching a younger woman fighting versus an older woman for real.”

Another intriguing capsule came from her match against Lucy H. “This is an ultra-competitive pins and submissions wrestling match between two pretty new girls at this time. However, there was no love lost at all in this exciting match.

There was also “needle in the game” because rugby player Marcela was 8 years elder than 19 years old teenager Lucy. However, from the very first second, Lucy was eager and willing to attack and to finish off and to humiliate the older, but very proud woman. When Lucy apparently choked her in a headlock, almost all hell broke out and you could feel a very strong rivalry coming up in this fight. There were submissions on both sides and it’s an exciting wrestling match you’ll definitely love if you enjoy real and true female competition. Will the older woman finally teach the younger one a lesson?”

Speaking of Marcela’s rugby background, there are some great rugby stadiums around the world.

Let’s learn and peek at three of them.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

The informative site intheloose.com shares that in Cardiff, Wales, “The Millennium Stadium has become one of the most popular stadiums in world rugby with both fans and players due to its central location in Cardiff. Fans can quite literally crawl their way from the bar into the stadium in a matter of minutes. And once inside the steep angle of the stands create and incredible atmosphere that is amplified even further when the roof is closed. The local banter isn’t too bad either.”

Another stadium that receives some love is Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, Australia (capacity 52,500).

fciwomenswrestling.com article, scanner.net photo

The nice site skyscanner.net expresses, “Built on top of a graveyard (don’t let that bother you), this Queensland icon was actually the first major Australian stadium to begin life as a rugby league venue. Lang Park and Suncorp-Metway Stadium, as it has also been known, is a triple-tiered monster, a European-style stadium with stands creeping right up to the pitch, enhancing the famously raucous atmosphere.”

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

For variety skyscanner.net invites us back to England bouncing us to Twickenham, in London, England. “One hundred years old in 2010, Twickers is the largest ground in the world solely devoted to rugby union. Ok, the atmosphere can go a bit flat when things are not going England’s way but, as the Six Nations finale against France showed, the place can seriously rock. Although it’s perhaps best not to dwell on the fact that they let Bryan Adams play a gig here.”

Marcela was a very talented beautiful DWW Wrestler and Rugby Player. I loved the intensity that she brought to the mats which complimented her beauty. With her fighting spirit and athletic talent she is proof that female athletes can perform well in multiple venues with courage and excitement.

Kati N. Euro Wrestler

Biking for twenty miles from one city to another on a tree covered bike trail tells a story every mile along the way. Similar to extensive life experiences, as you travel one direction, many travel in the opposite direction, others speed by and pass you up, some stop along the way; permanently, others take a break and resume course.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, Wikimedia photo

Along the way you revisit history.

There are clearings where the young fell in love; other grassy spots where children were made under the moonlight by the water and various sandy spots where lovers waded into the water and created lasting memories.

The sights at times are breath taking as you experience both the quiet beauty and power of nature co-existing in slow motion.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, Wikimedia photo

There are so many entry ways along the mighty Danube River where the DWW girls competed that remind you of the cycles of life.

Kati N. had her wrestling life cycle and in her time made her mark and created a strong impression.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

Her resume includes struggles against Moni, Aniko, Jana N, Anna L, Ildiko K, Julija, Lucy H, Timea S, Kati K, Anna L, Antscha and Edina to name some.

Praise and fan reviews tell their story as well.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

“Jana and Kati are similarly built, slim but strong young women. If you like watching two slim but determined women in an international wrestling match then you’ll love this oil wrestling match, too. It’s a real test of strength on the mats where both women are trying very hard in this live event from our summer event 2002; and there are many submissions!”

Against the respected Lucy H. there was great anticipation for the action. “This is an international wrestling match from a small event from 2002. Lucy H. was a beginner at that time but she was heavier than blonde Kati. However, Kati was more skilled and experienced. Will weight become decisive here? This is a great international battle on the mat.”

The news of Kati traveled far and wide when she met the legendary and current super star Antscha. “This match is short but intense. A wrestling match with some great submissions originally produced for a TV report that was broadcasted in German TV in 2004.”

Kati was in exceptional shape and listed body building and exercise as some of her many hobbies.

Given its deep, rich history, biking along the mighty Danube no doubt told many stories along the way.

Perhaps we can get on our bikes, strap on our safety helmets, bring plenty of water and some snacks in a small back pack and create memories.

A wonderful travel site danube.travel is going to point us in the right direction. “Hiking along the Danube gives the unique opportunity to discover not only landscapes that change from region to region, but also a variety of ethnicities and traditions.

Hiking offers vary from one day trips, to cross border guided hiking tours, and can be also combined with other activities, such as biking or bird watching. From the wooded mountain range of the Black Forest, Alpine Foothills and Pannonian basin, to the craggy gorge of the Iron Gate and Danube Plain – different hiking trails are established for different types of hikers.

The most important hiking trail in Germany is “Hiking without luggage along the Danube”, from Donaueschingen to Passau.”

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

Very nice. Some would like to hike along the way but I think we should continue riding.

The respected site europebicycletouring.com provides us with some helpful tips and an important warning. “The Danube River (Donau in German) flows from its source (at Donaueschingen) in the Black Forest of Germany, to the Black Sea— 2900 kilometers (1,700 miles) downstream. Serbia and Romania are not considered safe for western bikers, on and off the road, and are not discussed here. In Germany and in Hungary, many bikers do safely follow the Danube. However, by far the most popular section for biking is in Austria, between Passau, Germany (on the Austrian border) and Vienna—a total distance of 340 kilometers (~200 miles).

This bike tour’s rightful popularity arises from a great concentration of diverse views, and from tourist sites that bring new variety on each day of a ride. Additionally, one rides upon wide bike paths (or very minor roads) apart from traffic, usually right alongside the river.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

(Whereas, riding along the Danube in Germany often entails roads, and in Hungary, on roads and on highways.)

As a plus, in the case of bad weather, river steamers provide a painless way to continue a journey. Finally, there are scarcely any hills and little chance of high winds. Bicycling road signs, pointing to the main routes, to variants, to nearby sights, and to hotels, usually clearly indicate the route.

Thus, the Danube bike route is excellent for families with children, and does in fact attract many families. One caveat: In order to reach hotels in some towns, one must ride for short distances on city or town streets — or walk on their sidewalks.”

That’s wonderful to know and if you are ready to sit down, take a break and have a snack on this sunny day, I’m with you.

Let’s talk about Kati while we eat.

Women’s wrestling is clearly for any girl that wants to give it a try. It’s an area of life where a girl doesn’t have to be a huge star but as long as she gives it her best, years later we are still talking about her. Kati seemed to fall into that category as explained by a fan and reviewer. “Kati is a very attractive girl. She always wrestles hard but seems to have a hard time as she is a little weak and submits rather easily. I looked forward to seeing her wrestle the novices.”

We’ll today we rode the bike trails that connected us from one life passage to another. Kati also loved dancing to Trance music. Tomorrow would you like to hit a few night spots? This part of Europe has pulsating dance clubs. I’m up for it if you are.

fciwomenswrestling.com article DWW photo

As we peddle back towards our original destination the echoes of the past softly sing in our ears and over the clearing where the water meets a slow rise, I see if only for a moment, the image of Kati softly glowing in the breeze and just as quickly as she came………….

She’s gone.

Rene European Wrestler

Rough and tumble life experiences are common to us all. What separates those that succumb from those that learn and thrive is the ability to rise once again after falling.

Miyamoto Musashi, 1584 – June 13, 1645, was an expert Japanese swordsman and rōnin. Musashi, as he was often simply known, became renowned through stories of his excellent, and unique double bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 60 duels.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

He was quoted as saying, “All things entail rising and falling timing. You must be able to discern this.

The talented Fem Competitor Rene of DWW fame possesses a name that in Latin means To Rise Again. The equally talented naming site sheknows.com expands, “People with this name have a deep inner desire to use their abilities in leadership, and to have personal independence. They would rather focus on large, important issues, and delegate the details. They also have a need for harmony and balance in their lives, and respond positively to beautiful things.”

The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall.….Vince Lombardi

The challenge for Rene in most of her DWW matches was that she wasn’t just the smaller girl but the much smaller girl. Against Leslie she gave away a 30 pound difference, got in trouble early but didn’t give up. Here is a review that speaks to that.

Rene – third from left

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

“Without ever needing to be very aggressive, Leslie controlled her opponent throughout this match. Her 30lbs weight advantage was very much in her favor, and Rene found it difficult to shift Leslie when she got on top. Rene conceded 2 submissions inside the first 2 minutes, rather too easily for my liking, but fought much harder for the next 15 minutes or so.”

Very good Rene. You didn’t give up.

The back drop to this match was very telling in terms of relating a powerful life lesson about practice and continual participation in your area of interest. Here is another reviewer’s view on the Leslie verses Rene affair.

“When I last year saw Leslie the first time at the live-event, she wrestled Rene’s sister Andy in a very even match (movie-254) and we know that the two sisters Rene and Andy are quite even in their performance, although Rene is a few pounds lighter.

But one year is a very long time to improve for the girl who got tons of matches like Leslie, while Rene only got a few matches due to fewer requests of sponsors and less downloads of her other matches. And so this match with Leslie, which could have been an even match one year ago, was now a one-sided punishment for Rene.”

People say that if you find water rising up to your ankle, that’s the time to do something about it, not when it’s around your neck.….Chinua Achebe

No doubt Rene acquired some of her wrestling and fighting skills from contesting with her sister Andy in their private life. The friendly feud spills over into DWW’s Danube complex.

“This is another match between the two sisters. There is a very entertaining interview with both of them before the match when they are talking about their fights they have had against each other when they were younger. This time they are challenging each other for a Sgpin match. Younger Rene is more muscular and has the stronger upper body, while elder Andy is the heavier one of the two sisters. Both sisters are evenly matched and you can see that they are fighting for their pride until the end when both are totally exhausted and the loser immediately seeks for revenge. This is a very emotional and interesting match between two real sisters.”

Virtually every beautiful DWW Fem Competitor has a signature match where everything seems to come together. Based upon our research of DWW’s Kendra, I expected her to be the favorite in a match with Rene.

DWW’s Kendra, Her Uncommon Beauty Made Us Think In ….femcompetitor.com/?p=5060

Showing grit, determination and the ability to rise again, here is what actually occurred due to Rene’s great efforts. One fan could barely contain himself.

“This match was filmed on 7th of November 2007. Now I know what G.R. meant when he said to us visitors of the November-event, 10 days later, that we should take a good look to Rene because she is in his opinion one of the most talented novices DWW ever had, but she only has the disadvantage only to weight 99 lbs.

And yes, how right his opinion is. In this match you can see Rene fighting with another novice called Kendra, who weighs 24 lbs. more, is 5 inches taller and is in her mid-twenties while Rene is still a teenager of 18 years.

So, I know that there are many guys all over the world who prefer to see young, small, slim teenager wrestling with a high fighting spirit. So, you all will love Rene after watching this movie.”

Unbelievable! The small teenager beats her heavier 25-year old opponent 6-2!”

Rene certainly rose to the occasion.

Another female wrestling Connoisseur agrees.

“This is my first encounter with Rene and I am not disappointed! She goes after Kendra and defends mightily whenever Kendra goes after her. Probably the most noteworthy aspect of this match is Rene’s enthusiasm and energy. She shows true spunk and desire to win.”

The movie going experience has the ability to transport us to other worlds, live other people’s lives, and feel their joys and pains along with revealing strong life lessons.

One of my favorite films that spoke to overcoming fear and getting up again after you have fallen is Batman Begins. It was a simpler departure from the previous renditions that had become so over the top and comedic in nature that other Batman fans seemed to agree with me and stayed away in droves.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

Batman Begins revived the franchise.

The stellar Film Reviewer Roger Ebert provides us with professional insight. “Batman Begins at last penetrates to the dark and troubled depths of the Batman legend, creating a superhero who, if not plausible, is at least persuasive as a man driven to dress like a bat and become a vigilante. The movie doesn’t simply supply Batman’s beginnings in the tradition of a comic book origin story, but explores the tortured path that led Bruce Wayne from a parentless childhood to a friendless adult existence. The movie is not realistic, because how could it be, but it acts as if it is.

This is at last the Batman movie I’ve been waiting for. The character resonates more deeply with me than the other comic superheroes, perhaps because when I discovered him as a child, he seemed darker and more grown-up than the cheerful Superman. He has secrets.”

One of the secrets he learned from his deceased father was to pick himself up after falling and don’t be afraid.

It’s easy to love DWW’s Rene because she was a younger and much smaller girl but she continued to fight and fight and pick herself up after falling.

I’m certain with Rene, on the DWW mats and in life, after falling down on this journey’s sometimes unpredictable rock strewn roads, like her name resonates; she will get up and rise again.

Anette Euro Wrestler

Henri Frédéric Amiel was a Swiss philosopher, poet and critic who was born in Geneva in 1821. Known for his Journal intime, a masterpiece of self-analysis, Mr. Amiel was acclaimed as a writer with a brilliant mind and a tormented soul.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

He was often quoted and one of his many quotes that speaks to the career of DWW beauty Anette was, “Learn to… be what you are, and learn to resign with a good grace all that you are not.

Anette was not one of the greatest wrestlers in DWW history but the role that she resigned herself too was entertaining, mesmerizing and memorable.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

According to the educational naming site sheknows.com, Anette’s name conveys Grace. That’s very appropriate for a then young fresh faced girl who wrestled with class and dignity. The naming site delves even further by stating, “People with this name have a deep inner desire to inspire others in a higher cause, and to share their own strongly held views on spiritual matters.

They are excellent at analyzing, understanding, and learning. They tend to be mystics, philosophers, scholars, and teachers. Because they live so much in the mind, they tend to be quiet and introspective, and are usually introverts. When presented with issues, they will see the larger picture. Their solitary thoughtfulness and analysis of people and world events may make them seem aloof, and sometimes even melancholy.”

When you watch some of Anette’s matches, in between takes she did have a quiet spirit which was in contrast to her intensity in battle.

The meaning of life. The wasted years of life. The poor choices of life. God answers the mess of life with one word: ‘grace.’…..Max Lucado

Her resume includes matches against girls close to her level in Radka, Petra S and Nikita among others.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

One of the exciting aspects of watching newer girls wrestle as opposed to long established stars is that you truly do not know who is going to win based upon skill so the next best betting tool is to base it upon size, right?

Against Petra, Anette a slender tall gorgeous brunette was taller so I was confident that she would win against the smaller blonde. They did indeed trade submissions, battled intensely often finding themselves continuing the contest off the mats but over time it became clear that Petra would be more opportunistic.

Then Anette faced the stunning Nikita who reminds me a little of Victoria only taller. She seemed much taller than Anette and once their engagement started I suspected that Nikita had the advantage but it became clear early on that the statuesque beauty just did not have Anette’s strength and Anette began to dominate her with one prolonged school girl pin after another. Given the lopsided final score, I would count it as a signature win for Anette.

She went on to surpass that by completely dominating Radka 9-0.

Let’s entertain the analysis of a couple of fans and reviewers.

“I am a fan of beautiful girls wrestling for real and I can tell that this match is a lost jewel for every fan like me. These are certainly the most beautiful girls I have seen on the wrestling mats. Anette is the most aggressive girl. You can see that she gives everything to win. Nikita is also very determined. They could be perfect DWW girls.”

Another reviewer expressed this view. “This is an interesting wrestling match between two novices from the early 2000sands. Those two were from a group of young women coming to us as partial workers from an American fast food chain who had their restaurant in the local town. Two of those young novice wrestlers were Anette and Radka.

Radka was the older of the two. She wasn’t the owner of that fast-food chain restaurant but she was young Anetta’s supervisor. Obviously Anette was keen for teaching her “boss” a lesson on the mat. You can easily see the “gleam” in Anetta’s eyes when she was sitting on her boss and particularly when her boss was submitting to her.

This match between two novices clearly showed who the better woman was and it’s not only exciting to watch but thrilling and psychologically special. Just watch the faces of these two women as their match is going on and you’ll know what they’re thinking about the match and about each other. Probably the next working day wasn’t the best one in Anetta’s life. This isn’t a match for fans who love the techniques and the skills. It’s for fans who love the fight, the emotions, the psychology and the fun of female wrestling.”

That must have been quite a match, fighting it out and getting revenge on your boss.

Which brings up the subject of Fast Food being served in Vienna.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

At fciwomenswrestling.com we love to travel with you through an educational eye and thus far I don’t think we’ve talked about something that we know is not great for our body but is delightful to our taste buds and soul.

I love Fast Food!

So, what is Fast Food like on the Danube jewel of Vienna?

Wiping the crumbs and grease away the cool and informative site traveldudes.org expresses, “The traditional Viennese fast food is sausage in all shapes and sizes. You can buy hot sausages and hot dogs at snack bars called “Würstlstand” all over the town.

The famous Wiener Würstel is known as “Frankfurter” in Vienna, but many inhabitants prefer Bosna (with onions and curry), Burenwurst, and Käsekrainer or “Eitrige” (with melted cheese inside). Sounds great, right? In addition to this, the local snack culture also includes more Yugoslavian and Turkish varieties of fast food, such as the Döner Kebap, sandwiches of Greek and Turkish origin with roasted meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and yogurt and/or hot sauce.”

Great. Yummy. Let me pull out my debit or credit card. I want more.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

The local site tourmycountry.com shares, “Lunch is traditionally the main meal of the day and most people have only smaller meals for dinner (light meals, sandwiches, essentially things you would have for lunch in the Anglo-American sphere). Snacks and fast food are common (like in all countries) and often regionally distinct.

Breads and rolls come in large varieties in Austria and serve as a basis for many snacks. The classic bread roll is the “Semmel“, ideally handmade (you can tell from the imperfections in the geometry – this is serious business).

Other bread rolls come in various shapes, with different grains and spices and demonstrate why a baker is a highly respected person in every Austrian village. Ask for Salzstangerl, Fintschgerl, Kürbiskernweckerl, Kipferl, Mohnflesserl, Laugenstangerl and Kornspitz. Bread rolls and Semmeln are always sold on the day – I remember arriving in England and realizing that this is not granted in every country.”

I knew there was great fast food in Austria. The statistics seem to bear that out.

The respected information source euromonitor.com informs, “Fast food was the fastest growing category in consumer food service over the review period as lifestyles became increasingly hectic and many consumers sought convenient and time-saving foodservice options.”

Working at an American Fast Food restaurant was once Anette’s occupation but like most young beautiful European girls, she had other interests as well. A typical student she loves fried potatoes (okay we say French Fries here), tonic, reading books, playing sports like volleyball and wrestling along with participating in aerobics and riding her bike.

The ideal man bears the accidents of life with dignity and grace, making the best of circumstances.…..Aristotle

She was fun away from the mats and enjoyable on them. She wrestled with energy, a sense of humor, sportsmanship and above all, grace.

Pharra Nevada Wrestler

Having our expectations met is a wonderful thing. Having them surpassed is an exceptional thing; sometimes life altering.

When you meet the female submission wrestler Pharra from the Las Vegas area, at first glance you might never designate her as a serious ladies grappler. A Soccer Mom; yes. An effective and responsible housewife; yes. The teacher of your grade school children; absolutely.

But a female grappler?

fciwomenswrestling.com article, femcompetitor Magazine photo

Once you wrap you mind around the fact that this gorgeous strawberry blonde athlete is indeed a Fem Competitor, what would your expectations be in terms of her abilities to exact victories on the mats.

Being in control of your life and having realistic expectations about your day-to-day challenges are the keys to stress management, which is perhaps the most important ingredient to living a happy, healthy and rewarding life.…….Marilu Henner

Pharra has the ability to light up a room and enable you to feel like you are the only one a room of a thousand people. In terms of her expectations on the mats, she smiles, “I feed off of the other wrestler’s energy.” Stated another way, as the match progresses, she becomes more energetic and formidable.

Mr. Sam Walton, a great man and the founder of the Walmart global retail empire was quoted as saying, “High expectations are the key to everything.

As of this August 2015 writing, Pharra has at least five solid wrestling matches under her belt and with each contest she seems to improve. Once when injured after a wrestler lifted her off the ground and slammed her down, she lay there and analyzed “Her head and neck hit at a 40 degree angle and pain shot through her spine but I got up and went at it again.”

Wow. Impressive.

Fciwomenswrestling loves everything about Pharra as a wrestler and our cooperative friends at Magazine clearly were impressed as well doing a Sunday Showcase on her talents.

Femwin’s Pharra, Foxy, Fantastic, Phosphorus, FIERY! femcompetitor.com/?p=4279

fciwomenswrestling.com article, femcompetitor Magazine photo

Never one to complain or feel sorry for herself, even after her injuries Pharra sighed, “I’m exhausted. I’m going to sleep good tonight.”

Meeting this beautiful woman ignites elegant fantasies that create expectations that are hard to exceed. We find ourselves in this position often as we interview beautiful female wrestlers.

If you were to dine with Pharra in her current area of battle, Las Vegas, where would you go that could exceed any expectations?

We can help.

How about Joel Robuchon’s upscale restaurant found at the MGM Grand Hotel. No matter what your expectations are, we feel certain they will be surpassed.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, mgmgrand photo

Please enter with us and have a seat.

Our nicely attired waiter at mgmgrand.com whispers, “Winner of Michelin’s Three Star, Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond, and Wine Spectator’s Grand Award, Joël Robuchon has redefined Las Vegas fine dining. Joël Robuchon was named France’s Chef of the Century by the esteemed Gault Millau restaurant guide. Coming out of retirement to open his first restaurant in the United States, Joël Robuchon caters to a sophisticated palate that features a menu of his finer specialties.”

Just sitting here, I’m certainly impressed especially as I imagine Pharra elegantly dressed and sitting across from me (for a professional interview).

A writer from fritosandfoiegras.com walks over to our table, announces herself and smiles, “This is where the magic starts. A cart filled with at least 17 types of bread is rolled to you, and your server describes each one, like some glorious, hunger-inducing monologue. Baguette, country bread, milk bread. Basil brioche, bacon bread, Gruyère bread. Hard bread, soft bread, miniature bread, gargantuan bread. Each different, each baked in house daily. You are encouraged to sample many breads throughout the course of the meal, though only your first selection will be warmed.

The best salmon I can remember eating, including at top-notch sushi restaurants. It is so mild, so soft but not mushy, with a thin, caramalized crust. It must be cooked incredibly gently, because it has a moist but still cooked interior, where the fat has melted away and self-basted the fish. The mango tagliatelle is just as outstanding – thin ribbons of fruit that resemble al dente pasta in texture, but with a bright, tart flavor.”

Oh no. I can’t take it. Pharra? Are you ready to order?

Good thing that FCI is paying for this exquisite experience.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, mgmgrand photo

We did our home work ahead of time to bring plenty of cash or have room on the credit card. The dazzling information source thepricehike.com explains, “Joel Robuchon’s tasting menu for two at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas will almost certainly cost more than $1,100 after wine, tax and tip. This is due to a $30 price hike, which I confirmed after a receptionist at the restaurant kept me on hold for about ten minutes.

So it goes that Robuchon, America’s second-most expensive eatery after New York’s Masa, has raised the price of its 16-course degustation menu to $425 per person, an 8% hike from the previous price of $395 per person, or a 10% hike from the $385 menu earlier in 2011. That brings the REAL COST of dining at Robuchon (including 8.1% tax and 20% tip) to $544 for one, or $1,089 for two.

Wine pairings are available at $295, $595 and $995 per person.”

fciwomenswrestling.com article, mgmgrand photo

Oh well. It’s only money and you can’t take it with you. Right?

Don’t lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality...Ralph Marston

Every time that we watch Pharra wrestle, we are impressed. Her energy seems to increase as the match evolves.

As Pharra continues to evolve as a female submission wrestler, we are confident that not only will she meet our expectations, but will be consistent in exceeding them.

Clara Euro Wrestler

George William Russell (10 April 1867 – 17 July 1935) was an Irish writer, editor, critic, poet, artistic painter and Irish nationalist. He was also a mysticism writer and a personage of a group of devotees of theosophy in Dublin for many years.

He was quoted as having said, “We have the universe to roam in in imagination. It is our virtue to be infinitely varied. The worst tyranny is uniformity.

One of DWW’s Clara’s many virtues is her varied interests in what seems to be an exciting life filled with promise.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

Her love of the sports world is evident with a passion for submission wrestling. She also enjoys running and any physical combat sports that build strength. No doubt this outlook contributed to her beautiful, shapely, athletic legs.

In terms of food she loves chicken and fish and as we venture into her social life she loves modern music.

Sameness is the mother of disgust, variety the cure.………Petrarch

The fantastic naming site sheknows.com acknowledges the alluring name of Clara. They express, “People with this name have a deep inner desire for love and companionship, and want to work with others to achieve peace and harmony. They are competent, practical, and often obtain great power and wealth. They tend to be successful in business and commercial affairs, and are able to achieve great material dreams. Because they often focus so strongly on business and achievement, they may neglect their private lives and relationships.”

Clara certainly obtained great power on the Danube wrestling mats.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

With a brilliant career that started as early as 2001, Clara’s resume includes engagement against Luzia, Edita, Jana N, Irene, Denise, Andrea N, Tiffany, Antonia, Eva, Laila, Vanda, Linda, Xana, Daniela, Barbara, Nadege and Kriszta.

A person of varied interests, her participation with DWW was expansive as well even engaging long time star Eva in boxing.

The secret of happiness is variety, but the secret of variety, like the secret of all spices, is knowing when to use it.……Daniel Gilbert

Clara’s fans and reviewers are happy to invite us in on their thoughts regarding her matches, inside scoops and accomplishments.

“Clara was a muscular and an athletic sports student. She had incredibly strong thigh muscles as a track and field sprinter she was. Also her biceps and shoulders were perfectly defined, trained and athletic. This time she faced Jan and they wrestled for pins and submissions in this mixed wrestling match.”

“Clara as beginner vs Jana back in 2001 in mini dresses on the mat. Of course Jana hadn’t been that good at this time as she’s today and Clara was just in her prime, but both women demonstrated some great wrestling with some nice sgpins and deadly scissors. If you’re a Clara fan then this early has to be in your collection.”

“The last match was a private match between experienced German Susanne and DWW’s Clara. Both girls are very slim in the bust, and quite strong. Although Susanne is very experienced and had clearly won all her recent matches when she appearing for other producers, she finds that the level of wrestling skill demanded at DWW is much higher. Clara shows no pity or respect for the older German woman and crushes her with some great head scissors!”

Clara is a young woman of many talents. She is also a student as well. A beautiful Czech girl, let’s visit her home and peek at the college experience there.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, DWW photo

The nice information site internationalstudentinsurance.com expresses, “The Czech Republic boasts the oldest academic institution in Central Europe – the Charles University in Prague, founded in 1348 – and it was Czech students and intellectuals who in 1989 led the Velvet Revolution, which wrested control of government from the socialist regime. As a result, higher education holds a special place in the history of the Czech Republic. Students who choose to study in the Czech Republic have the chance to experience a rich cultural heritage as well as one of the most exciting capital cities in modern Europe.

The Czech degree structure is similar to that of the United States. Degree programs are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s (3 to 4 years)
  • Master’s (4 to 6 years)
  • Doctoral (usually 3 years)

The country is home to over 70 public and private academic institutions of higher education, and many offer Czech language courses designed specifically for foreign students.

Admission to Czech universities and colleges is available to all students who have completed their secondary education and successfully passed an entrance exam (each institution specifies their own exam). Most Czech institutions have adopted the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, which allows easy credit and degree transfer to institutions throughout Europe.

Study In The Czech Republic (http://www.studyin.cz/home/) is the government’s promotional site for foreign students. It is an excellent resource which includes downloadable catalogues of every Czech college and university.

With living costs in the Czech Republic substantially cheaper than anywhere in Western Europe, this Bohemian paradise is offered at a discount. Government estimates place total food, housing, and transportation costs for students in the Czech Republic at only 350-750 USD per month.

Additionally, students are encouraged to acquire an International Student Identity Card (ISIC), which provides discounts for restaurants, cinemas, museums, concerts, and more.

Foreign students are eligible for a number of scholarships, including those offered by specific institutions and the European Union. The Czech government offers financial aid scholarships to foreign students through the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and within the framework of the Foreign Development Aid.”

If you ever thought about studying in the Czech Republic, their website is worth checking out.

As fans we loved Clara’s exceptional skills and the variety of ways that she applied them on the Danube mats to gain victory. She is a beautiful young woman with athletic prowess that begs for appreciation. Clara is a fantastic DWW memory whose style was unique as it was varied.

Diana Femwin Wrestler

Femwin’s Diana is always a delight to be around.

Diana posing in boxing style with Samantha Grace

fciwomenswrestling.com article, femcompetitor photo

As an FCI writer, I traveled to Las Vegas to report on Femwin’s April 2015 VIP Event. Once there I got a chance to visit with the wrestler and Fem competitor Diana once again.

One thing that was very apparent is that Diana has been working out at the gym. Her body was much stronger than when we met in June of 2014. It enhanced her beauty and she even possessed a higher level of maturity.

We talked for some time and she informed me that she was only going to be able to attend Friday because her personal work schedule and become so busy.

It was our loss.

After reading about the January 2015 passing of the beautiful Russian tennis star Violetta Degtiareva, it made me pause and reflect on life’s openings that present us with endless opportunities for success within limited time frames.

Ms. Degtiareva, a striking blonde beauty, was born in the city of Rostov, near the border with Ukraine in southwestern Russia – was recently ranked in the world as a singles player, with a slightly higher 905 ranking in doubles. The high point of her pro career was reaching the quarterfinals at the ITF-Turnier tournament in Turkey.

Comparisons were made to the former fellow Russian star, Anna Kournikova, whose good looks vaulted her to celebrity status even though she never won a major tennis title. Ms. Degtiareva was able at her young age to secure endorsements that helped to make her a top earner among players on the professional circuit.

As Femwin’s April 24-26 Las Vegas Female Wrestling event approached, my thoughts turned to Diana, a possible rising star on the women’s wrestling scene who participated in two of the most recent Femwin, Las Vegas Events.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, wikimedia photo

When I met Diana at the June 2014 event, I was smitten by her beauty, charisma, energy and zest for life. Like many entertainers she may go by multiple names thus when we featured in an article we called her Nicole.

Nicole – A New Submission Wrestler With Unexpected Excitement femcompetitor.com/?p=630

Bursting onto the scene in two wrestling matches against So. Cal Beauty and journey level wrestler Samantha Grace along with a contest against super star Skylar Rene, like any newer wrestler, Diana has been provided with a nice grace period.

A question can be raised though. Is Diana a rising star or a passing one?

She certainly has the potential which is a label that can be either a compliment or remain an eternal mystery.

Over the years, I’ve learned that a confident person doesn’t concentrate or focus on their weaknesses – they maximize their strengths.……Joyce Meyer

The responsibility to propel Diana understandably is hers but an argument could be made, the women’s fully competitive wrestling industry’s as well. Besides the Canadian company Femwin, very few companies are producing women’s wrestling events or private shoots in America. A competitor can’t grow unless there is an environment that allows that to happen.

What FCI would like to see is Diana taking steps to establish herself on the Social Media and at WB270.

FCI can do its part by promoting Diana’s image and keeping her name in the public eye. Possibly more.

When our writer covered her matches, He found Diana to be very exciting to watch and suspects all that she needs is just a little training to impel her to the next level.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, femcompetitor photo

Her most recent match against the statuesque beauty Sablique shows progress. She actually had Sablique in a strong head lock but failed to close it out. She still lowers her head and walks into a submission hold. Her energy level was there, she just needs a plan and more tactical training.

The fact that she is planning on attending this year’s April 24-26, 2015 event is a great sign that she wants to compete and with each match her experience grows.

The star of our story lives in Las Vegas.

The majestic jewel of the desert, Las Vegas has been written about and covered in so many ways that here we might focus on it with an eye to the many strengths of Diana.

Diana is a beautiful woman with whom you would love to sit down and share an elegant meal. It would be an evening that you would never forget. At night during the June 2015 event, our group had an exceptional experience dining at Ballys.

One of the restaurants that caught my eye was Alize which provides the ultimate French dining experience. Let’s take a tour before we dine.

Restaurant Alizé is what memories are made of.

Located on the 56th floor of the exquisite Palms Casino & Resort, the establishment offers a breath taking view of Sin City.

Ah, the waiter has arrived. Fortunately he is speaking in English.

“Established by Chef André Rochat, who began his formal culinary training in France at the age of 14, Alizé’s award-winning menus combine Chef André’s innovative French tradition with Chef Mark Purdy’s acclaimed flair and style.

Notably ranked as one of the 5 highest restaurants in North America, Las Vegas’ Michelin-starred Alizé Restaurant is more than just a pretty face with a knockout view.

Granted, being on the 56th floor of the decadent Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas does allow for the city’s most breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip.

But even Alizé’s view is surpassed by its consistently phenomenal French cuisine and world-renowned wine cellar and cognac collection. Our Chefs have sourced the finest American ingredients and attend to every culinary detail with fundamental French techniques.  Established by Chef André Rochat, who began his formal culinary training in France at the age of 14, Alizé’s award-winning menus combine Chef André’s innovative French tradition with Chef Mark Purdy’s acclaimed flair and style.

It is our intention, with every item served and every interaction made, to leave our guests feeling better than they did before.  We carefully orchestrate the details of each experience with a team that is committed to our guest’s happiness; it is an experience of exceptional quality and comfortable style.”

After that, I decided to take a peek at the menu. My…..Oh….My.

In American, the meaning of the name Diana is: Luminous, perfect.

So fitting wouldn’t you agree?

The delicately perfect naming site sheknows.com adds, “People with this name have a deep inner desire to inspire others in a higher cause, and to share their own strongly held views on spiritual matters. They tend to be quiet, cooperative, considerate, sympathetic to others, adaptable, balanced and sometimes shy.

They are trustworthy, respecting the confidences of others, and make excellent diplomats, mediators and partners. They are often very intuitive. They like detail and order, and often find change worrisome. They may sometimes feel insecure or restless.”

No wonder I like Diana so much!

As an industry, can we provide beautiful women like Diana with more opportunities to wrestle? We sure hope so. Life is short and worth every effort.

“Yesterday when I was young….The taste of life was sweet as rain upon my tongue.” American super star singer, Roy Clark

I think back to Anna Kournikova who as a teen I loved to watch during the 1990s. So much was expected of her because she truly was a great talent yet she could never break through and win a Grand Slam. I remember the looks of exasperation on her face when things began to crumble during a match.

Give her this.

She made a lot of money. Tons. Somehow though I sense if you could maneuver your way into the deep recesses of her mind, something important is missing and a prickle that in terms of maximizing who she was capable of becoming as a tennis player; life passed her by.

Will we ever expand as an industry so that all of these women who want to wrestle but can’t find any compensated opportunities don’t go away? There are some good signs that we will. New companies are springing up.

Wonderful competitors like Diana show that her progress is a collective responsibility.

Will she remain a fantasy wrestler, always fodder for established warriors like Skylar Rene or rising stars like Sablique?

This writer doesn’t think so. She’s on her way to sustained Victory Street and some of us are very determined to open the passenger door and drive her there.

Orsi, Euro Wrestling Star

The super star Hungarian wrestler and creative soul, Orsi loves to participate in the little known but effective school of martial arts called Ninjutsu.

Ninjutsu sometimes used interchangeably with the modern term ninpō is the strategy and tactics of unconventional warfare and guerrilla warfare as well as the art of espionage purportedly practiced by the shinobi (commonly known outside of Japan as ninja).

fciwomenswrestling.com article, dwwgalaxy photo

Ninjutsu was more an art of tricks than a martial art. Ninjutsu was a separate discipline in some traditional Japanese schools, which integrated study of more conventional martial arts along with shurikenjutsu, kenjutsu, sojutsu, bōjutsu, battlefield grappling kumi-uchi (an old form of jujutsu) and others.

A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others…………….Ayn Rand

The discipline seems intriguing and alternative but at least in Orsi’s case, it seems to work wonderfully.

Orsi mainly wrestles in Europe and here are a list of competitors that she has engaged that fill out her formidable resume. Ready? Kimbra, Pamela, Antscha, Viktoria M, Zsuzsa, Sofia C, Reni, Antonia, Vladka, Leslie, Miriam, Viktoria, Sofia B, Kati K, Giulia, Nici, Karine, Bea S, Angie and Orsi S.

fciwomenswrestling.com article, dwwgalaxy photo

Kimbra is widely known as one of the best wrestlers today. Here is a match description when these two titans met.

“This was one of the best matches of this event and probably one of the best matches of the last 24 months. Both Orsi S. and Kimbra gave their very best wrestling performance ever. There’s top skills, incredible power, aggression, ambition, stamina, unbelievable endurance and activity in this match, something you’d hardly ever seen before. The ups and downs of each wrestler are changing permanently and once you’d strongly believe that there would be no other option for the poor struggling victim than to submit immediately, she can suddenly turn the tables and the aggressor is in immediate serious trouble, and it turns again and again and again.

You’ll be excited when watching this very long match since there won’t be a single minute when you’ll be bored. We’re giving our sincere compliments to these two real female warriors. If you’re a true female wrestling fan then you shouldn’t miss to watch this match immediately since it’s probably one of the best matches ever filmed in our 20 years female wrestling history! This incredible match is definitely one of the collector’s classics of the century.”

Wow, what a salesperson. That is a match for everyone’s collection.

Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.……Steve Jobs

Karine is widely respected as one of the best female submission wrestlers to ever come out of Germany. Here is the match description between two tough Euro stars.

“The match between Orsi-K and German girl Karine is a fantastic match, and it is an even match. Both are very strong and muscular women. It’s fantastic to see, when their biceps are flexing during the match and their arms and shoulders are working. Orsi-K is much taller than Karine, both are experienced wrestlers. The match starts with a headlock attack from Karine, she came on top first, but Orsi-K know what to do and use her powerful legs for a fantastic body scissors, but Karine fights back and made very fantastic headlocks in this even match. It’s great to see the emotions, when Karine is over Orsi-K and to see, when Orsi-K is “working” to escape from the powerful headlocks from Karine. Of course Orsi-K try every time to use her scissors for making points, but Karine was in good form. And both girls were fighting to win this match.
You see hard headlocks, great body scissors, pin counts, emotions and 5 points. The winning point is with the last hold in this great match with 2 beautiful and strong wrestlers.
After the match the winner shows her strong biceps.”

A lover of sports, climbing and making music, Orsi uses her creative side to exact victories in her wrestling as well. Along with being quick and with great reactions, Orsi is very fit as well.

One more match description speaks to this.

“While Pamela seems to be stronger and of course bigger than Orsi, Orsi is the more experienced and more skilled wrestler as she’s wrestling already three years longer than Pamela who had just started to wrestle a few months ago. You won’t be surprised that both women do not only use their skills, their strong legs and their strong arms.”

In reviewing a myriad of Orsi’s matches you’ll find that Orsi defeats the girls that she is supposed to but is inconsistent with those closer to her level. The surprise match for us was when she faced the American Trinity.

Trinity had been in a very tough match with Bori, one of the Hungarian female wrestling leaders and appeared to annoy the Hungarian star and received a fairly thorough beating as a result.

When it came time to meet Orsi, Trinity’s street style and aggressiveness seemed to intimidate Orsi who clearly did not wrestle at her best. Having said all of that, it was still one very entertaining match.

The highest levels of performance come to people who are centered, intuitive, creative, and reflective – people who know to see a problem as an opportunity.…..Deepak Chopra

Orsi has been a long time star on the women’s wrestling scene and FCI would like to congratulate her on her endurance and mostly stellar performances. A student who is trying to increase her choices and options, Orsi seems to exemplify what we love about women’s wrestling.

She’s talented, fit, bright, smart, beautifully and uniquely creative. That is a wonderful profile to hang on any female sports industry’s mantle.

Tyler Aria Star Wrestler

One of the world’s greatest Motivational Speakers, Mr. Tony Roberts enthusiastically expressed that if you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.…..Winston Churchill

If you want to surge and excel as a female wrestler you should research and follow the career of the beautiful girl with thunder thighs, ideal for scissors, Tyler Aria.

Tyler achieved great results in 2014 and seeing that she is very active, participating in Femwin’s December 2014 event, the year 2015 promises to be a great one for the Las Vegas Star.

Tyler Aria provided me with a simple yet brilliant idea when I managed the session board at Femwin’s June, 2014 Women’s Wrestling Extravaganza in Las Vegas. I tried to organize it by day, room and time but to put it mildly, it was a struggle.

“Why don’t you just put a sign in list on each door”, she smiled as we sat next to each other watching a match in progress on the event stage.

Hmm, she’s sexy and brilliant too.

I’m not surprised by her creativity. She certainly has been all that and more on the wrestling mats taking on one tough competitor after another including a young rising star named Jolene. Her match with Tessa provided her opponent with the back to school experience as Tyler smiled while teaching a wrestling clinic.

Let’s visit Tyler’s Home, Las Vegas.

The official website, lasvegas.com states, “Las Vegas, an ever-changing fantasy-land of a city, has seen unbelievable expansion since it emerged from the desert just over 100 years ago.

The sights and sounds of Las Vegas are enjoyed by millions of visitors every year. They stay in some of the most glamorous, unique hotels in the world. They eat at five-star restaurants and expansive buffets. They play at casinos, pools, health spas and golf courses. Sometimes (many times, actually) they even marry each other.

You will be dazzled by Vegas, but the sheer number of things to see and do can seem overwhelming. A little advance planning will help you to enjoy your Vegas trip.”

fciwomenswrestling.com article, Wikimedia photo

Tyler describes herself at the dynamic site modelmayhem.com, “I have been modeling for five years. I love the experience and have grown a lot through this. I work best with photographers with a sense of humor.

I have shot in Prague, London, New York City, St. Louis, Los Angeles and my home, Las Vegas. So, if expenses are paid, I will go pretty much anywhere.

I do fitness, print, glamour and commercial to name a few. I take pride in my work and am dedicated to perfecting my craft.

My rates are reasonable, I answer all emails. tyleraria@gmail.com. (Article date 8/30/2014)

Please include project details, rate offer or budget, and your MM # and I will get back to you ASAP.”

Very efficient.

She also has powerful legs that can make any man tap out before his head explodes. How does she get such powerful thighs?

The well respected site muscleandfitness.com shares, “Leg training is punishing, unforgiving and, at times, painful. But it’s in that pain that the chaff is separated from the wheat when it comes to lifters. The truly dedicated realize that building a better physique is not solely a waist-up endeavor. In the interest of symmetry and totality, right-minded lifters hit the squat rack with the same kind of will-shattering intensity as they do the bench.”

Whatever her routine, Tyler is perfecting it. If you have ever viewed some of her video and watch someone get trapped in her scissors, sometimes it hurts just to watch. Better him than me.

She’s highly praised in many circles. This writer knows the gentlemen behind the Femwin matches and they sing her praises as though on a Las Vegas stage. I witnessed her hard work ethic during the Las Vegas event as well.

The well-known session site scissorvixens.com has this to say about Tyler. “Like Shauna Ryanne our latest ScissorVixen, GORGEOUS Tyler Aria, was discovered by our scissor-scout at a Las Vegas foot fetish party. He immediately called to tell me about this new girl who had him tapping out in seconds from her CRUSHING scissors! So when we finally made the trip to ‘Scissor City’ to shoot with her we soon discovered trying to find a victim willing to spend 30 minutes between her thighs was becoming very difficult! A few of the potential victims we had in mind had felt the power of her thighs before but for much shorter videos. There was NO WAY they were willing to try and survive her leg scissors for 30 agonizing minutes!

But we’re sure you might be able to survive watching her DESTROY her victims between her POWERHOUSE THIGHS here on ScissorVixens.com!”

If you enjoy watching a beautiful woman wrestle well and make rain (grown men and women crying) with her scissors, then go to Femwin’s site. Along with some other rising female wrestling stars, here is a description of her at the recent December, 2014 event.

“This incredible video is about 1 hour and 10 minutes and features Jolene, Tyler Aria, Kara and Skylar Rene like you’ve never seen them before! It’s amazing how brutal they are to Tactical Ed, Dante, Diana and Chase. Brutal scissors are applied throughout, sometimes by more than one girl at a time and sometimes just to keep their victims helpless while other girls brutalize their helpless prey, one victim at a time.”

All in good fun for certain.

This year, 2015, promises to be a great one for Tyler who is wrestling hungry and on the move. When viewing her Twitter page it appears that she has big plans. Stay tuned and stay awake.

If you want to see a person with great strategy who gets fantastic results, you’ve come to the right place.
