Each January, the entertainment community and film fans around the world turn their attention to the Academy Awards.

Interest and anticipation builds to a fevered pitch leading up to the Oscar telecast, when hundreds of millions of movie lovers tune in to the glamorous ceremony and learn who will receive the highest honors in film making.

The awards, first presented in 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, are overseen by AMPAS.

Someone in the competitive female submission wrestling industry deserves our highest award.

We’ve all witnessed Kara provide us with some exhilarating performances in recent years and like any legendary actress with a resume as long as her designer gown which, in many circles, given the price tag on the garment, is almost something to be worshiped.

As reported at forbes.com, “The showstopper of the evening was worn by Saoirse Ronan, who starred in Brooklyn. The beaded green dress was made by Calvin Klein and LookLive estimated it cost $60,000. Rachel McAdams also wore a stunning emerald green dress by August Getty Atelier that cost an estimated $30,000.”

The following is a list of awards and nominations received by the English actress Kate Winslet.

She is the youngest person to acquire six Academy Award nominations, with seven nominations in total and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for The Reader (2008). Among her numerous accolades for her performances, Winslet has won an Oscar, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Grammy, a Critics’ Choice Movie Award, an AACTA Award, three BAFTAs, four Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Empire Awards. She is one of the few actresses to have won three of the four major American entertainment awards (EGOT), with her Academy Award, Primetime Emmy Award, and Grammy Award wins.

She makes every dress look like a million dollars.

Now that was February 28 of 2016.

Now that was four years ago. We suggest that you read the article because it takes a very different approach than we will here. In her interview with FCI Women’s Wrestling she spoke of her interests and we chronicled the city that she grew up in, Oakland, California.

It’s a good read.

She has virtually wrestled all of the top stars including Cheyenne Jewel, Isamar, Ariel, Bryn Blayne, Fefe, Julie Ginther, and more. Like most female submission wrestlers she has traveled the world including wrestling in London and all over the Americas.

Several years ago we had dinner with Kara, Jennifer Thomas, Samantha Grace and others in Las Vegas and she expressed how her trip to London was very disappointing in the sense they are very hard-nosed about entry.

At APL she primarily performs in erotic fantasy matches and has engaged Goldie, Juliette March, Mona Wales, Daisy Ducati, Kymberly Jane and Lily Cade to name a few.

Kara is always intense.

As we watched her matches in Las Vegas that year, she was a force to be reckoned with. As usual she dominated virtually everyone she faced.

Our writer on assignment also recalled how he privately sang her praises to a customer in attendance and hooked them up for a session.

It felt like matchmaking.
