Hungarian Battle, DWW Legend Zsuzsa Vs Blonde Beauty Nikki, Synchronized Swimming

Life is about transitions and snapshots of where you are in time.

Five years ago, you may have been in a tough spot in your life, hopefully now, not so much.

For every person on this planet, we are in a constant and fluid state of transitioning.

Like it or not.

The careers of fully competitive female submission wrestlers are the same.

Where are they at during this snap shot of time?

The legendary DWW alum Zsuzsa is probably one of the most consistent wrestlers that we have seen over time. We know what to expect from her every match. Others in her Hungarian camp, not so much. They can be inconsistent and we don’t know what to expect.

We have admired and watched Nikki for years. She is as beautiful as they come with a wonderful personality. At times, the challenge with her personality is that sometimes she can be a little too friendly during a match.

Hopefully she won’t be today.

In today’s matchup we expect Zsuzsa to win. Under certain circumstances could Nikki defeat Zsuzsa? Anything is possible, but thus far, we haven’t seen that. She tends to defeat the newer girls but the mid-range wrestlers have been a great challenge for her.

So much of what happens today, in terms of her wrestling, depends upon what transition stage Nikki is in.

Time to find out.

ZSUZSA VS NIKKI

The two beauties circle one another on the black ring mat.

They begin with hand fighting as Zsuzsa is actually back pedaling while Nikki is the aggressor. We know that headlock lunge is coming and they both appear to be thinking of the same thing, at the same time.

Zsuzsa gets the better of it but Nikki quickly breaks the headlock hold. They circle one another again with more wrist grabbing. It is almost as though they are synchronized swimmers, thinking in unison as they both pull from behind one another’s neck.

Nikki changes the pace with a floor to sitting body scissor. Typically a wrestler will do that when she is running out of options and not effective in grasping a headlock, which is the most powerful takedown hold, especially if you fall on top of your opponent with your body.

We don’t sense a great veteran like Zsuzsa is going to be submitting like this. Apparently neither does Nikki as she rolls it into a side body scissor. Nice idea but Nikki needs to marry that to another hold so Zsuzsa needs to pick the lock at two painful destinations.

Zsuzsa turns the tables on Nikki and applies a side body scissor of her own.

Surprisingly, neither does Zsuzsa apply a combination hold.

Yet.

She lets go of the scissor as Nikki gives up her back and rides the beautiful blonde girl from behind.

Nikki breaks the hold.

The two go back and forth with various holds but nothing solid. Part of the reasoning for this may be due to the fact that, in their Hungarian stable, they know each other very well. Nikki finally captures Zsuzsa but the DWW alum flips her over and breaks the hold. Undaunted, Nikki aggressively attacks Zsuzsa with an upper head scissor and Zsuzsa breaks that hold as well.

They begin hand fighting again.

They have reached an energetic stalemate of repetition.

Zsuzsa breaks the repetition with a floor to sitting headlock but Nikki easily escapes that hold.

Zsuzsa eventually gets a bull dog headlock but not tight enough and Nikki breaks that hold too.

The DWW legend obtains another headlock. This one tighter than the previous one and surprisingly, Nikki breaks that hold as well.

The blonde princess then pulls Zsuzsa backwards into her own scissor but Zsuzsa breaks that hold.

They struggle. They struggle some more.

Zsuzsa now applies a full nelson and pulls Nikki back towards the ropes and corner of the ring. Nikki breaks the hold and rolls on top of Zsuzsa in a cross body position and then rides Zsuzsa’s back but Zsuzsa uses force to bull dog Nikki around. Nikki has her in a hold but not remotely a dangerous one. Nikki maintains the top position and rolls Zsuzsa underneath her into a possible Guillotine Choke.

Zsuzsa breaks the hold and mounts Nikki.

Nikki struggles underneath but doesn’t appear to be in trouble except for breathing heavily. There is a break in the action but we didn’t hear a tap out. We’ll see if it clears itself later. Nikki is the one that was in trouble, so if there was a tap out, it would have been from Nikki.

Nikki appears to be tiring.

Zsuzsa is content to be on the defensive, engage when engaged (tiring Nikki out) and pushing Nikki backwards as the blonde girl continues to groan loudly. Nikki charges Zsuzsa but has little power. They struggle until Zsuzsa mounts Nikki in the top position. She maneuvers Nikki around until she traps her in a brutal side body scissor with an upper head clasp. Zsuzsa squeezes hard and Nikki just doesn’t have the strength to resist and taps out.

1-0 for Zsuzsa (11:25).

Finally.

They engage again. In the same way. The upper hand and wrist fighting. Nikki has renewed energy, but no plan. Once again, out of creative thought, she leaps and tries the often ill-fated floor to body scissor. Zsuzsa has seen that move a thousand times and probably thwarted 975 of them. The more experienced wrestler moves forward (after all, Nikki placed her on top) and clasps Nikki in a headlock from the top position.

In the process of breaking the scissor hold, Zsuzsa gives up her back. Nikki springs to the top position, riding over Zsuzsa who is now in the turtle position.

Nikki? You are running out of time. Do something with this advantage. Can she gain a submission?

No.

Zsuzsa takes her by the head and flips her over. Now Zsuzsa is back on top with a headlock. The Hungarian legend is using her torso to bear down on Nikki, applying pressure. Nikki tries more than once to capture Zsuzsa’s head in a scissor to pull her off but Zsuzsa is too crafty to let that happen.

The DWW alum continues to apply the pressure.

Something shocking happens.

Nikki is breathing heavily and appears to be tired but she manages to break Zsuzsa’s hold and capture the experienced star in a headlock of her own. From the top position, an inch away from a Guillotine Choke.

Nikki? Do something with this.

They struggle.

One again, Zsuzsa grabs Nikki’s from behind the neck and flips her over. The hold is broken.

Again.

Zsuzsa is now content to keep Nikki’s charges at arm’s length. They are both tiring as sweat is glistening off of their sensuous backs.

To our surprise, Nikki leaps behind Zsuzsa, who gives up her back, and has the star in a vulnerable spot as Zsuzsa is bent over in the turtle position. Whatever Nikki might do, she only has seconds to do it.

Time runs out.

Zsuzsa is the clear winner and we are going to score it 1-0.

We loved Nikki’s fearless energy here.

This joust was like watching a synchronized swimming match where both wrestlers thought alike and applied the same holds.
